Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

Hi. Trying to add a Sonos Port to my existing setup.  Port updated and seemingly registered on my Sonos system OK, but no sound output to hifi.  Connected via digital output to Hifi (Meridian).  Used existing "CD" input and cable to ensure it wasn't the input or cable at fault.  Tried adjusting volume levels on both port and hifi to no avail.  Only strange thing is that the Port shows up as part of my system on the Sonos App (iPhone) but no on the web app.  Any advice please? 

I'm looking for a way to save a track to a different playlist. Does that function exist in the Sonos YT music connection?

Does anyone know why my tuner radio doesn't work anymore? I want to listen to radio stations from different countries, it hasn't been working for some time. since they made an update to the system, you can no longer listen to streams, it always says that something is wrong. it seems to me that it is working, but in reality nothing is heard. since then I regret that I opted for sonos

After spending many hundreds of pounds on this system , only to find that even the basic functionality of my system doesn't work, I am forced to question how Sonos is getting away with it. No offers of recompense, no fixes, no resolve. Just excuse after excuse. What's going on Sonos?Stop sending automatic replies every time someone complain,  and stand up and take responsibility. Shame on you !!!!

I want to hook Hardware indoor speakers and outdoor speakers to the back of my Sonos amp. Sometimes I want to turn off the outdoor speakers. I don’t want to have to unscrew the speaker wires from each post to turn off the outdoor speakers. I cannot find the adapter that for example, uses a banana plug for the outdoor speakers yet retains the speakers screwed into the posts. 

Please release a separate tool for down / upgrade then it is a conscious effort to understand consequences of the process, so you can't upgrade by mistake and now not being able to downgrade or listen to music on a perfectly good S1 system? Honestly I should be able to sue as now can't use it!!!?Hurry up and fix this please??

Despite having an updated system and a great internet connection, it's impossible to listen to an entire song on Spotify without it cutting out at least once... Even downloaded songs.

I need help. I bought 3 new Era 100 speakers for an office we just bought and can not get them to pair on either band of wifi. I’ve tried the delete app, reset speaker and all sorts of combos and nothing works.When I brought them home and tried to add them to my home system, they paired immediately and needed to do an update. I had read this could be a thing and then could work so we then took it back to the office, reset it, but it still failed to set up. Why is this not work? I have other devices like Wyze on the wifi no problem.

Dear Sonos Team,your new app does not connect with my Beam (from 2019). I read here, I am not alone with those troubles. I also tried everything with resetting the system etc. 2 hours work for nothing.I was just thinking to expand the system throughout the house. But spending a lot of money by ending up to not beeing able to use the system anymore is making me somehow careful now.what is your solution for all the connection issues?

Hi all,My current set up is a Beam Gen 2 and 2x Play 1’s set up as a surround sound system for my TV in the living room which works really well as is but I have just been given a Bose Smart Soundbar 600 and I am wondering if I can swap out the Beam Gen 2 for this and keep them linked to the Play 1’s for surround sound but make use of the upwards firing drivers on the Bose to get the full dolby atmos experience?Do they play together do you know?Any help would be appreciated.

I have a problem with a single Sonos One (I have 10 sonos speakers in total)Issue experienced One of a paired of Sonos One speakers suddenly stopped working I factory reset it wirelessly and wired It gets as far as being seen in the App but then fails and says “The connection to your Sonos One was lost. Make sure Sonos One is powered on”  The speaker is fully powered on during the whole process A second error says “Your Sonos One couldn't be set up. Unplug the power cord, plug it back in, and try again.” powered off and on - then nothing happens and the speaker is not seen in App I have also reset the Sonos App - still not worked.Anyone see this before - any ideasThanks

Can anyone tell me if they see any visual indication that content is being played in Dolby Atmos on Sonos Ace in the Sonos app? I’m used to seeing an icon for Dolby Atmos content in the app for Arc, but can’t see anything for Ace if using TV Swap or playing Dolby Atmos content (from Apple Music) with an iPhone.

Hello, I have the following set-up since 2 years: one ARC paired with 2 sonos one. I bought a renewed Sub (gen 1 or 2) and am unable to connect it to my system. The installation requires an update of the Sub (written it should take a few minutes only) but after a lot of attemps, I'm still not able to complete the update. I of course reset to factory setting multiple time, unplugged reppluged, rebooted the WiFi etc but still no success: the update starts but never completes itself and no error message appears. Using S2 for set up. Thanks for your helpP

Good morning.Please advise what should I do? My Sonos system couldn’t connect to one of the speaker. I reset the speaker to factory settings and the try to connect it one more time . Speaker was able to communicate during connection process but was not able to join current WiFi network.in fact all other speakers are erased from the system and I can’t connect them any more.what shall I do ? 

Hello alli have a full sonos system set up in my home Inc ceiling speakers, Era 100’s, and Arcs plus a a roam and a Move 2.i have had them all working independently and as one system but now I can’t link my roam to the rest of the system.It only will play independently. It keeps saying ….Unable to connect. Try again later.I’ve switched it on and off as instructed as well as rebooting my phone but no luckThank you in advance of your helpTony

My Roam 2 speaker, when connected to my phone (whether via Bluetooth or WiFi), intermittently produces hissing noise. Even when playing music, if it’s soft music, I can still notice this buzzing noise similar to electrical interference. Placing the speaker close to my ear, I discovered that the noise is coming from the lower part of the speaker (below the Sonos logo). Could this be a quality issue with the product? Is there a setting in the Sonos app that can resolve this issue, or can I request a replacement? I am very satisfied with the design and sound quality of the Roam 2, but this white noise issue is quite bothersome.

Sonos said that they would restore accessibility for the Sonos app to utilize your local music library (in my case, MacOS).   This has not happened, it still doesn’t work and we’re approaching August.Anyone else seeing the same issue? 

I cannot add speakers or play at   I sign out and back in and still cannot add. Just keep getting the prompt to dign out and back in  

This has been going on for a while now. I can only find one speaker out of 8 on the app. I’ve tried resetting every speak several times. A couple of weeks ago after resetting my router and the speakers several time I finally got my speakers to show up. But that only lasted a couple of days. It’s always the same speaker that ends up being the only one. I have about 4k in speakers that isn’t even a year old. Please help me. 

AMP shows that it is connected and shows that the music should be playing, but no sound is coming out. I recently installed four SONANCE MAG6R speakers and an AMP on my new covered patio. The amp is in the garage about 150’ away, and we have 14G speaker wire burrier in conduit running over to the patio. Recently installed a UniFi mesh system. The speakers and AMP worked perfectly fine on this wireless system for about 3 weeks, then stopped. Again, it shows that the music is playing, everything is connected, but no sound will come out. I now have the amp hardwired to see if that helped, still nothing. I have spent about 4.5 hours on the phone with customer support and still haven’t been able to figure it out. Pretty sure I have fixed all the settings on the UniFI app that Sonos told me to do, still nothing. I originally purchased 2 AMPS, so I tried the brand new one and it is doing the same thing.  If anyone has any insight on what is going on I would appreciate it. Love my Playbar and sub, have had for years.Recently got rid of the TV and now using a long throw projector (Xgimi Horizon Pro) with my Apple TV connected to that via HDMI.I’d like to keep the player but it is not bluetooth and I dont want to run wire across the room to the playbar under the screen.Will connecting Sonos Port to the AppleTV or Xgimi solve this issue?  thanks.

Before I throw my 2 Play 1 speakers out of the window!  We changed from SKY to BT WIFI several months ago and have had intermittent issues with connection.Sitting in the garden on Sunday, we decided we would like some music - so I opened the SONOS 2  app  and struggled to connect but and was then advised that the app needed updating - which I did (Android) and my husband did on his iPhone. The result was a series of abject failures to connect - with different stages of the process failing. I have tried on my phone, my husbands, the family Kindle and the Windows app on the laptop - all failing at some point.We have reset the speakers - several timesDeleted and reinstalled the app - several timesThe BT hub is dual band and SONOS uses 2.4G - is this an issue? Can Sonos voice control Bluetooth. Every time I play a song using Alexa then if I want to watch tv I have to reconnect my speakers to the tv all over again. Any solution to this or am I missing something?
