sonos app is still very broken

Probably this is now old news but Sonos please fix bug issues once and for all. I have 17 speakers connected and when it’s not one thing is the other.  App is completely unreliable with volume sometimes not responding, speakers disconnecting, rooms disappearing and speakers even made a loud sound. I have no issues with internet connecting both wired or wifi. The app seems at times it has a mind of its own. I’ve spend thousands on your excellent hardware only to be let down by the driver.

Thanks though I still think that with all the technology and “Ai’ put into the products Sonos sould be able to address this issues without the consumer having to deal with them.  Not everyone is technically minded.

Tbf Sonos was sold as a high end product that worked out the box and didn't require users to be tech geeks. This last 12 months have been awful in terms of delivery and customer service. I have recommended Sonos to a lot.of friends and family over the years but I'd have to think twice about doing so right now.

Exactly how I think.  Agree with you 100%

I’m still very much struggling with Sonos, and I feel that after some momentary improvement, it’s back to being terrible. It’s extremely frustrating how long this is taking to fix. I’m desperate for some usability here...

Have you called Sonos Support directly to discuss it?

When you speak directly to the phone folks, they have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your network and Sonos system.

I have called 3 times and have requested a level 2 call back.  They never called.  Ever since the update my sub won't register.  Horrible support.

My devices have always been on fixed addresses, but nearly every time I try to play music via the app these days the “play” button just spins.

Thankfully AirPlay still works, although there may be a separate Apple-introduced issue with iOS 18, otherwise I’d be living a music-free existence.

Another day and another “No products found”.

Perhaps Sonos could rehire the previous middle management to rehire the previous programmers and fix the software.  It is quite apparent that over the  past year the app functions less and less reliably.  Clearly the current batch of programmers are clueless as well as the middle management that hired them.

The more time I waste re-setting these speakers the less value they hold.

I solved it myself !

If you can not register your speaker, it may be your DNS number.

I changed mine from QUAD9 back to the Xfinity DNS (75.75.75.75/75.75.75.74)

Quad9 worked before ?
