Controllers and Music services

Can SONOS create the ability to create a playlist and add songs? Like Spotify, etc. Or is that an option I don't know about?

From yesteday Soundcloud service is broken in my S1 setup. Files not encoded properly .. again.. guess its happening to more than me..

My Music Library is located on an external drive attached to my iMac. I have 2 Sonos speakers and the Sonos app on the iMac and on an iPad. I’ve tried everything to get the app to see the library but nothing works. Always “no longer available”. Can anyone help with a step by step idiots guide? or at least tell me if this scenario is just not possible. At the moment my speakers are just ornaments

I’ve had my Sonos units for some time - in those years I’ve had to go through the whole reboot router, system and all speakers maybe 3 or 4 times, which is a pain as I have them mounted near the ceiling in my warehouse, which means moving the ladder around and climbing up and down, holding some combination of controls, unplugging/plugging, etc.  Today I opened the Sonos app on my Mac, and it can’t find any of my speakers - I’ve updated the app, no joy -  The speakers are all present in my airplay selector, so maybe that's the best to use them. But I just discovered that the Sonos web interface has all my speakers and favorites and works great - but not the app (again) - which tells me that they are all working, and everything necessary to operate them exists somewhere. Why is this so hard? It’s the main reason I steer friends away from Sonos - 

For several months, I have been experiencing persistent issues with the S1 controller and Amazon Music. Despite reaching out to support for help, the problem remains unresolved. I can't add Imported Playlists to the queue in the Android app from my Music Library.  This was working previously in the Android app.  Doing the same Imported Playlist in the Windows version of Sonos app is working without issue so it is not an issue with the Playlist.The Android app can see the tracks in the playlist, but if I click on the play or shuffle icon it just spins away doing nothing. If I try to add or replace the queue with the tracks from the playlist it just spins.If I click on the three dots next to.the track and select Play Now, the track plays.This is broken for even Imported Playlists with 1 track.Is this a known issue that's been broken in a recent app update? I have searched but can't see anything about imported playlists broken on Android recently.Android App Version:  83.01.9

In the Sonos iOS app, scrolling generally freezes in the volume slider window.   This probkem seems worse on the iPad than on tne iPhone.   Resettng the app, clearing the cache, and rebooting the device did not solve the problem.   Luckily, scrolling the volume sliders still works in the Mac app.

Hi! I work in a restaurant that has two different rooms where we normally play two different playlists. Normally thats not a problem but we have recently had a message saying “playback from Spotify was stopped because playback was started from another room or device. Spotify limits the number of simultaneous audio streamsyou can access from its services” but that has never been an issue in the past. Is there a way i can fix this? We use Ipads as our music control and our sono’s app to decide the playlists.  Thanks

Since an update over a month ago, when setting or changing an alarm (On Android at least), the keyboard quickly pops up and then dissappears. It's impossible to change the numbers without going outside the app, copying the numbers you want in some other text box of an app, and then returning to the sonos app and fiddling with the text box until it highlights before I can attempt to paste it. I figured it would get worked out but it still hasn't, even after a new update. Is this bug known about or being worked on? It's been getting more and more frustrating as it goes on. 

Since the last app update, I am no longer able to set the sleep timer when listening to Radio Paradise through the RP service. It isn’t an issue when playing any other content, nor even if listening to RP though TuneIn. The message on the pop-up tab which would normally display the sleep timer option as well as other options, states “Unable to load. Some information is missing from this content”.Is this a Sonos app issue or a problem with the RP service? 

I have two problems when setting alarms. The first is a recent one. When choosing a music source, I used to be able to choose from my whole set of services as an option. For instance I could pick a Spotify playlist or artist radio.  Now, I’m given a very narrow list of options with no detail ( like “playlist 1” for instance). Secondarily if I choose a Sirius Xm station, the alarm will revert back to Sonos chime. I understand the problem you got yourself Into with the botched rearchitecture, but why do you keep breaking simple tertiary features every time you make a change. 

After the latest update i can no longer change the time for an alarm or set up a new alarm. All on a Samsung phone. The keyboard disappears before I can type any numbers. Don't people test these updates before they are rolled out?

As of a couple days ago I can no longer connect to PLEX.   I get“Something went wrong. Try Again” when click on artists from my favoritesand“No content items available” when clicking on Plex iconI can cast to my sonos speakers from the Plex app (not plexamp) on my computer.If gone through all the suggested steps I could find from the internet.  I guess my question is to see if anyone else is experiencing it or if it's just me (and for how long).  If its everyone, then hopefully its (another) screw up and they’ll get around to fixing it eventually. super frustrating that something that has worked for years just stopped working especially when its the reason I went with Sonos.

I’m having issues whereby nothing in the Sonos Pocketcast plugin is syncing too or from my Pocketcast app / account. I see this was a problem previously but threads have been closed for comment, but a quick search of the internet shows this is still a problem for other users also. Is there a solution?

I’ve used the system in my workdays for some years now, and love it, but notice that when I played playlists controlled from my streamdecks I would have intermittent drop outs and cuts, like the left/right/sub would independently drop and then come back after a few seconds.I had searched a lot, dont many updates, restarting my router and all the satellites in the mesh, nothing worked. At this point, if you’re hoping theres a silver bullet, sorry, BUT. I recently got a mate who had been playing with music generation online, and I really liked the stuff he made so got a copy of it onto my main pc, and added the folder as a music library in the sonos app. Other than having some of the worst playlist management options I’ve ever seen, like having to remove and re-add a library source to update it…. it HAS NEVER CUT OUT. I only just realised it this morning as yesterday I’d hit a different playlist and had the cut out but didnt make the connection. So I figure its either th

All 7 speakers were working fine on my Eero system. Then my internet went out and the technician said it was because of a programming glitch (Internet service providers recently changed hands). But he fixed it and now internet works and my Eero network is also working and even shows that the Sonos speakers are connected. However, the sonos app will not recognize ANY of them. I have 1 hardwired direct to the Eero hub and it still is not seen. In the sonos app, i am logged in, i have deleted and reinstalled the app, and Content Services in Sonos remains grayed out. When i go to spotify (which also is up to date) and tap the icon to connect to sonos, there is nothing. How do i get content services showing? how do i get this damned nightmare of a system to recognize speakers (and yes i did a factory reset)

One of the things that I really about Mac is being able to seamlessly select a Sonos speaker from Control Center to enjoy better audio than my MacBook Pro provides.  That has worked well until yesterday.Now when I select a Sonos speaker (in this case an Era 100), audio works for 1-2 seconds and then it stops.  The speaker still appears in Control Center and I can adjust the volume slider, but there’s no audio.I think I’ve narrowed down the issue.  Yesterday I installed a Sonnet 10GbE Thunderbolt adapter.  When that’s plugged in, I run into the issue with audio to the Sonos cutting off.  If I unplug the adapter, the audio works as expected.What’s the solution?  

My Sonos app is not working, it’s appears to load during too much time. I’ve to reset my symfonysk but isn’t working 

I have 7 sonos amps configured in a daisy chain to one switch port for ethernet right now. I have tried both 1 amp wired and no amps wired with the same results. The volume control slider on s2 app is about 20% of the time delayed about 1-2 seconds. Meaning I change the audio but the audio doesn't actually adjust for 1-2 seconds. I have many projects with the same config and I have never noticed this. Same exact equipment and gear.The only difference here is the router inf ront of the Bell Fiber GigaHub and configured with PPPOE which seems to have been working well. I downloaded teh desktop app and it works perfect. WiFi is very strong I am right beside an AP with full power.Spoke with Sonos and they saw nothing on their end. Anyone have any ideas, similar circumstance or anything ?I verified non of the amps is the root bridge in the matrix and they all just appear as secondary nodes which my understanding is good

App tells me that I keep needing to update network, even after I do it and it’s verified, it tells me I am not connected 

I have some ghost boxes (dimmed out, don’t do anything when touched, can’t be removed when editing the list) in my Sonos favourites in the iOS app. On the web player they are not visible.  anyone know how I can rid of them or can Sonos fix this bug? tia 

Suddenly the SONOS S2 app on MAC OS Sequoia 15.7.3 when it starts it spends 5 - 6 seconds searching for the sonos network. Then announces my Firewall settings need changing. Funny as the firewall is turned off on this particular laptop. Anyway it eventually gets past this and then announces the app needs an update. Hit the search for updates button, funny as there are no updates. What the hell is going on with this piece of junk? Maybe unrelated but when playing across multiple devices, some devices go quiet for upto a minute then continues. No indication of issues and at least one device continues playing without issue.
