Hello! I have an unusual issue with my Sonos speakers and Apple Music.I set separate alarms for each day of the week to wake me up to a different playlist. In the Sonos app, I specify that I want the playlist shuffled.This worked well with Spotify - each time the alarm started, it’d reshuffle the playlist in a different order. However, with Apple Music, I’ve noticed that the playlist is shuffled, but the order remains the same each time the alarm plays. For example, with a playlist of 50 items, each time it’ll start playing song 26, then 15, then 32, etc.Has anyone else noticed this? Is there anything I can do to change this behavior?Thanks!

I have several trhousand tracks which I converted from .wma to .flac, using the NCH Switch Sound File Converter app on Windows 11. The converted files appear to be playing on Sonos, but there is no sound.All ther files are within Sonos limits (44,100khz and 16-bit), and play perfectly well on my phone apps (Rocket Player and Pulsar), so are not corrupted.I have found that if I open one of the files in Audacity, then simpley export it back again, the file plays in Sonos.I have contacted the Sonos aupport team, and sent them a diagnostic while one of the tracks is playing, and they confirm multiple errors, so it appears that it is something to do with the Codec and how Sonos is interpreting it.I do not want to have to manually read and export every file via Audacity, so any suggestions using other software where I can perform a batch reconversion would be appreciated.

I raised a ticket more than a month ago and at first Sonos tried to fix the issue - now I am stuck with no apple music library, SONOS ignoring emails and then telling me engineers are working on it - in the meantime apple keeps updating and SONOS do nothing to fix this issue - surely I am not alone??? I cannot access my music library at all 

I have a wireless Play:1, a wifi router with a SIM connection, a wired raspberry pi (wired to the router), several wirelessly connecting laptops and several also wirelessly connected phones.The raspberry pi contains an mp3 library and the Sonos app on a phone correctly sees this library and also soundcloud and spotify is connected correctly to the Sonos app.The problem is that through the Sonos app if I play soundcloud or spotify all songs stop after 10-15 seconds and keep skipping.It’s not a bandwidth or speed or connection issue for sure because:From the same phone I can play the mp3 library on the raspberry pi which also connects to the Sonos Play:1 through the wifi router. So between the wifi router and the Play:1 the wireless connection is okay. Anyone else getting this? When you click the play triangle, it shows the square stop for a moment (which shows when it’s playing), and then goes back to the play triangle. The infinite mix channels are fine, but Live on 1 and Live on 2 are not working.

 When I load an Amazon Music Unlimited playlist I created that has 498 tracks, why are a different amount of tracks loaded when using two different apps?  When I use Sonos S2, 400 of 498 tracks are loaded.  When I use SonoPhone all 498 tracks are loaded. If I load the 498 track playlist using SonoPhone the queue on Sonos S2 shows all 498 tracks.  Weird!

For some unknown reason when I clicked on my fave ABC radio station this morning Sonos wouldn’t play it. It’s playing Spotify no problem. Help! 

Album art is working for my local NAS library when I'm selecting albums, and shows in the summary page when I'm playing a track.   But when I look at the queue there's no album art. That's not a big deal when just playing an Album but it's a pain when building a multi-album queue or playlist.  This works on the iOS app, and I thought it was working recently in Android. But not any more. Had something changed? I don't think anything has changed in my set up. I have re-added the music library, but that doesn't help.  

On this weeks iOS (April 26)  update the A-Z listing down the left hand side of the screen  for “Songs” has disappeared (from Local Library)It’s still there for Artists and Albums

My old pixelbook had limited function on S1 app, but my new Chromebook doesn’t seem to support any of the SONOS S1 app options, and the webpage controller notifies I need a firmware upgrade (which I am afraid to do since 9 speakers are older S1 system models) Hoping to find a way to control my S1 Sonos system from my Asus Expert book (Chromebook Op Sys)

I have a Ray together with a sub connected to my Sonos system and it is also connected to my TV. On one of my devices the small circle does not show up so controlling volume is not possible, however on another device it works. Have tried to restart the app in the phone but did not help

I’m playing “top songs” from an artist I like, after searching for the artist on the system, through all my Sonos speakers. Firstly, it plays a few songs from across the artists catalogue then it plays random songs from different artists.Secondly, when I go to skip the track I get a message saying it can’t skip and to try again. See picture of message.  Any suggestions? 👍🏼 

Why are there still so many radio stations on both TuneIn and My tuner that I cannot play?I am getting really bored with it. 

I can't add Imported Playlists to the queue in the Android app from my Music Library.  This was working previously in the Android app.  Doing the same Imported Playlist in the Windows version of Sonos app is working without issue so it is not an issue with the Playlist.The Android app can see the tracks in the playlist, but if I click on the play or shuffle icon it just spins away doing nothing. If I try to add or replace the queue with the tracks from the playlist it just spins.If I click on the three dots next to.the track and select Play Now, the track plays.This is broken for even Imported Playlists with 1 track.Is this a known issue that's been broken in a recent app update? I have searched but can't see anything about imported playlists broken on Android recently.Android App Version:  83.01.9

Hello all, I hope someone can help me.I noticed the other day that a few albums in my library had suddenly split into multiple albums. At first I thought there may have been an update that had changed the way certain albums were tagged. I did some rudimentary checks on the album tags (I use Tag & Rename) but couldn't see any issues. However on further examination I noticed that the multiple of the albums had the same track in them see images below.Multiple of one album.Only one track (The same track) showing in both albumsYou can see that a look into the folder for this album shows 11 tracks. 

The app seems to be getting progressively worse. I’ve now got the following issues. Alarm didn’t go off today Tried and failed to play music to the relevant speaker  if trying to interact with app, I need to close and restart as many as 4 times before it properly loads Can’t play music to several speakers  Almost impossible to play everywhere - always fails  My WiFi is good around the house is there an update coming any time soon to fix all of this? Terrible experience for a system so dependent on the app, especially if you have lots of devices.  Graeme 

I opened the S1 app on my phone (Pixel 9) to adjust the EQ on my old Play:5 and it was not seen in the app. Spotify was playing at the time, no issues.The Play:5 is connected to an ancient bridge (on its third power supply, lol)I factory reset and re-added the device but only succeeded via a wired connection after many tries. After that the device works on wired, including with the S1 app. But once I unplug from the ethernet the S1 app stops seeing it, while Spotify just keeps on working as before.If I attempt the “find missing product” procedure it responds immediately when I press the buttons on the Play:5 but fails to connect. In other words, it immediately detects the device when the pairing buttons are pressed then fails to find the device it just detected buttons being pressed on. 10/10, no notes, perfect user experience. ;-)S/N: ********************* (hopefully there’s some telemetry that can get this sorted. 

The pop-up menu in Apple music occasionally is missing the view artist and view album choices. Sometimes it shows and sometimes it does not. Anybody else for this issue?

A few night ago, I was getting the odd message of music not encoded, now I can start play but 5 secs in, audio is lost, the music is still counting down, the audio will pop in intermittently and then stop again. Mixcloud is the main app I use on the 8 Sonos speakers I have around the house. Can you help? I've reauthorised, removed it, added it back in. 

As my introduction into the Sonos ecosystem, I’ve had my Era 100 stereo pair for 4 months now. Starting about 1 month ago I’ve been experiencing constant issues surrounding connecting to my Apple TV via Airplay. I use an Apple TV 4K which is connected via Ethernet directly to my router, and I use the Sonos Era 100 pair as my primary audio output. For reasons I have not been able to figure out, they no longer connect and I get the “Could not connect to Airplay” error on my Apple TV. I have both my Sonos Era 100 pair and Apple TV 4K fully up to date and non of my network settings have been changed ever.  IMPORTANT - I am still able to use my Sonos Era 100 via Airplay with my iPhone, say with Spotify or other services, this problem is limited to my Apple TV. 

My app for backing up my music takes about 3 minutes.  Indexing my library in Sonos app takes an hour and a half?  How come it takes so long?
