Hello all, I hope someone can help me.I noticed the other day that a few albums in my library had suddenly split into multiple albums. At first I thought there may have been an update that had changed the way certain albums were tagged. I did some rudimentary checks on the album tags (I use Tag & Rename) but couldn't see any issues. However on further examination I noticed that the multiple of the albums had the same track in them see images below.Multiple of one album.Only one track (The same track) showing in both albumsYou can see that a look into the folder for this album shows 11 tracks. 

I couldn't be happier with my new Sonos Arc Ultra with Era 100 surround set. However. The volume gets quite loud and I don't want to wake up my toddler or annoy my neighbours. Adding a timer function is a MUST HAVE for this device. It's not hard to implement: just turn on night mode every night at 22.00 and turn it of at 06.00. That's it.I have found dozens of topics on these forums and on Reddit requesting this feature. Please Sonos - add it quickly! This is a must have!

Hi. Is anyone else experiencing dropouts, skips, etc with Apple Music since Apple Music moved to Lossless? Before Lossless was introduced, I never had these issues. I have tried Amazon HD and Quboz in the past - both high-res services - and experienced the same behavior. Eventually my system will realize it’s not working and then downgrade back to non-Lossless music, but then it will try again 5 songs or so later. We really need a toggle in the app to downgrade to non-Lossless streaming for the systems that can’t handle it.

Hi.  I’m curious if anyone out there has any current experience successfully installing the Sonos Controller in a Linux based OS, specifically Zorin.  I say “current” because almost every thing I’ve found on this subject is from some years ago, so just looking for something hopefully a bit more current.I have an old W10 laptop converted to Zorin OS, Zorin because it’s the most Windows like, they say.  When it was running W10 I could run the Sonos Controller and I play music through our Sonos ARC.  I’d like to be able to do that with Zorin if possible.  With the Zorin OS I’ve been able to a point in the installation process where it almost completes the installation but but fails with the following: Any thoughts, comments or questions would be appreciated.  Thank you.

Hello,I am a user in Japan with an active Amazon Prime membership. I have been unable to play Amazon Music through the Sonos app for the past few weeks.When I try to play a song from Amazon Music using the Sonos app, playback does not start and I get the following message (see attached screenshot):  "Go Unlimited. Listen to this music and tens of millions more songs with Amazon Music Unlimited. Sign-up at https://www.amazon.co.jp/music_on_sonos".Amazon Music and Sonos are already connected.  (Japanese UI, translated below, see attachment 2):  "Thank you. Amazon Music is now ready to play on your Sonos device. You can return to the Sonos app."Despite this, playback still does not start.- Amazon Music used to work fine with Sonos previously.- I am using Amazon Prime Music, not Amazon Music Unlimited.- The account connection says it is completed.I have already searched this forum for solutions, reinstalled the Son

I know this is a long shot, but is there any chance that Sonos could develop a simple app for WearOS? It wouldn’t even have to be full featured: simple play/pause/ffwd/rew controls would be great.We had a simulacrum of this with the old Sonos app, which correctly registered as a media player with Android so it could be controlled from the notification shade and the lockscreen, which meant it could also be controlled by the watch, but this has been gone ever since the new app came out.  

I purchased a Sonos system years ago, and with the S1 app rarely had any issues connecting. I recently purchased new speakers because I was constantly being reminded that the old speakers would no longer be supported. With the new speakers I needed to use the new Sonos app. Now I can almost never get a quick connection to my speakers, and often can’t connect them at all. My phone is connected to our home WiFi, I set and reset the speakers to connect to the home WiFi - and nothing. I am more than frustrated. I feel that I’ve been suckered into buying expensive new components and Sonos is letting me down. I can connect through Bluetooth - but I could have just bought less expensive Bluetooth speakers. 

It’s been a while since I’ve heard anything about progress towards resolving the Compilation Albums Issue in Local Music Libraries.I believe this is the current state of things:Sonos does not recognize the “Compilation Album” tag. Sonos does recognize albums tagged with Album Artist as “Various Artists” -- this is good. HOWEVER, Albums not tagged with “Various Artists” show up with as unique Albums for every Contributing Artist.  Example:  Suppose we had Billboard Greatest Hits 1986.  This would show up as 10 separate albums … one for Bangles, one for Huey Lewis, one for Mr. Mister, etc. Albums that are tagged with “Various Artists” fix this, but the Contributing Artists are invisible.  This means that if I look in the Artists list, I do not see Bangles, Huey Lewis, or Mr. Mister … it appears that I have no music from them, though clearly I do.  They show up when I search for them, but

ios app, changing volume or room assignments. hit apply and it reverts to where it was (imagine its way too loud and your wife is yelling turn it down). then the little circle spins and you cant turn it down. or off. its been years since they broke what was once a virtually bulletproof app. sonos will be primarily remembered as a case study of how poor management can utterly destroy a successful company.  

I am trying to set up my playbar and use the IR to use with my new TV and remote.  When I try to connect with the app, the app does not let me log in.  It get stuck in the endless loop.  I have reset the playbar, I have reset the router, I have installed and uninstalled the app, I’m using android.  Is there any way to do this?  I have read and researched but none of the suggestions are working for me.  Any help is appreciated

Since the update to macOS Tahoe I have been unable to connect to the Mac Sonos app. I have re-installed the app but that has made no difference. I spoke with an agent on  Sonos chat and he said as the update had only just happened that might be the reason. I thought that’s why Apple released beta versions  so cos could sort out any problems prior to the general release. It’s working fine on my iphone that was updated at the same time

I cannot connect to my Sonos devices using the Tidal app (neither Android nor Apple). It briefly connects but then disconnects. Any idea what to do?

Hello, I have this problem...I have a Tidal account connected to the Sonos app (android + ios), but my playlists that I created in Tidal are no longer showing.What could be the problem?Everything is showing, only the playlists are not loading....the info appears: something went wrong...I cleared the cache in the apps and re-authorized the Tidal account...but to no avail, the playlists are still not showing.Thanks for the reply.P.

This issue is limited to the live Apple Music radio stations - Apple Music 1, Club, Chill, etc. I haven't been able to get them to play for a few weeks now. They used to work fine.The track ID comes through as “unknown content” and nothing plays. Sometimes I get an error saying that it is not encoded properly, but not always.  Today when I tested, Apple Music 1 played through one of my Play 5s, but not through any other speaker, while the app filled with error message pop ups. The other stations refused to play at all.  Is this a known issue? 

Just purchased a pair of Sonos Era 100's and I have a Brennan B2. The idea to transfer my cd collection to the B2 and use the Sonos speakers wirelessly to listen to my collection. Quite honestly I cannot get both the Sonos and Brennan apps to work as they should. Yes, all is on the same network but the music library will not transfer from windows to the Sonos. The wifi keeps dropping out on the Sonos and for some reason the Sonos app will only play one song at at time. I am wondering if I have made an expensive mistake.

I went to add a new speaker to my Sonos app today, this tells me I need to update the appThe new app update on iOS is only available to iOS 17 and above which my iPhone X doesn't supportI just bought an era100 and cannot add it to the app because the app is forcing an update to allow me to add a speaker - the not now button simply cancels the add speaker option.this is absolute bull, so now Sonos require me to get a new phone to add a speaker to their app? im sure I'm not the only person affected but probably one of the first since most won't notice in day to day use right now, but this is bull

Sonos MoveYTM playing, music stops, I look in app, its still playing (seconds advancing).  I try and control the music, skip track, anything, eventually I get an error, then the Move drops off the app, then comes back again with a blank playlist.Zero pings dropped to the Move at network layer.Happened for the past couple weeks, rebooted etc, happens randomly, and seeminly only on the Move but then again I only really use that speaker consitently so not certain its isolated.  Same with YTM, not certain its related, but I have a feeling it is.Diag: ******** Moderator Note: Recorded and removed diagnostic number. I’m having real connection issues with my Sonos System. This weekend went to use it and only had my Move speaker connected to my app. All my other speakers we showing ‘Not Connected’ in the Settings page.I had restarted to reboot each individual speaker, doing a reset and then adding it to the system. After adding a couple of speakers, suddenly everything was working. They all appeared under my app.Lasted for about 5 minutes and now they have disappeared again apart from my Move speaker and showing ‘Not Connected’.Have rebooted my router and no joy. I have a Deco mesh system but have removed my Sonos Boost a few months back as it was my understanding that a Boost was not required. Has been working fine until recently.Any suggestions? Is there an update that has thrown the system?Thanks

I struggle with the size of the pin head buttons on the volume sliders.  This is a replica of an earlier thread 9 months ago that has not been actioned.  As this seems to be such a simple change, I am submitting a fresh new request in the hope to express further interest in this update.  Thanks.

I have updated SONOS, TIDAL, rebooted my router, uninstalled and reinstalled both, and still no solution. I have not re-authorized TIDAL because that selection isn’t available on my app. I am really close to closing my account and going elsewhere, especially when there is no human customer support.Any suggestions? Note, the Windows desktop app works fine. TIA. 

Pocket Casts not showing any podcasts and when I try a reauthorize it says check the internet connection.  There’s a Reddit thread with several reporting the same issue. 

Is there a quicker way for the app (android or PC) to speedy up the scanning of a music library on a NAS on my home network, or are there any plans for Sonos to change the way to access this content?I have a reasonably large music collection (nearly 60,000 tracks over 4,000+ folders), if I push new audio up to the NAS, I need the app to rescan the content before I can play it.  About 20 minutes each time (if I’m lucky).  Isn’t is about time this element of the app is rewritten so it works more like a File Explorer/My Files type of program?  You just upload, drill down to the content and it’s visible instantly?  (And yes, I do know you can set the Music Library to update overnight.)It’s 2025.  It’s bonkers having to do this nonsense.

So frustrated with SONOS.  Loved it when I purchased when two Play 5 speakers and bridge in 2011. Great sound. Rock solid App.  Then a couple of years ago, purchased the new generation Five’s. But there is no bridge. The sound is great. However the APP is terrible. Not user friendly.  Not stable. Too many times I can’t play anything. This would be embarrassing if I have company. I thought they were working on a better app but obviously not getting anywhere. I still have one of my old speakers with the old APP. Works rock solid. Hello, not only is Tidal not working....but MyTuner Radio is not working anymore...

HiThe last few days we are unable to connect to any of the SONOS products we have from our Android phones using Tidal and the cast button.We can see the devices and when you chose a device the cast button briefly flashes to show it it connecting then stops.If I use the Spotify amp, that connects with no problems.CheersAndy
