I’ve read about an issue with the alarms on Sonos systems from earlier this year, with most people saying they have now been fixed.Unfortunately since the last update for the app a week ago the alarm on my system doesn’t go off. I switch it on in the app, it switches it off straight away. I can’t create a new alarm. I’ve tried resetting the Sonos, force closing the app - nothing works. Any suggestions?!

When The new design of apps launched in May 2024 I found that the only controller left that would allow you to control your sonos devices without an Internet connection was the Windows Desktop App. This appears to no longer be the case and the Windows app now fails without an internet connection. Can I askin which version was this change made? and can we get a copy of the old version from somewhere?  

Not sure if it’s a bug or a feature request, but when I open my Sonos iOS app the “now playing” song metadata is always behind (showing the prior song).  A small gripe since it takes a second or two to refresh and get caught up.  Why can’t the app just update this metadata in the background all the time if music is playing?   FWIW I don’t have this lag with Apple Music or Spotify apps.  

Amazon Music keeps cutting out on Sonos systemI’ve been having ongoing issues with Amazon Music streaming on my Sonos system. The problem only happens with Amazon Music — all my other services (Spotify, Pandora, etc.) stream perfectly without interruption.When I play Amazon Music through the Sonos app, the music will randomly cut out, stop in the middle of a song, or skip ahead to another track on its own. It happens across my speakers at the same time, which makes listening really frustrating.For context, I have two Sonos Amps (one powering my inside speakers and one for my outdoor deck speakers), a Sonos Move 2, a Sonos Move, an Arc Ultra system, and a regular Arc system. No matter which part of my setup I use, the issue is the same.I’ve tried the usual fixes — rebooting my router, updating Sonos software, removing and re-adding Amazon Music, and following community troubleshooting suggestions — but nothing has solved it.It’s especially frustrating because Amazon Music worked fine on

Hello,I was using Spotify with my Sonos speaker for some time and recently I gave Apple Music a try. Normally, when using Spotify service, when I request a song from Sonos Voice Control, it would first tell me what song is being played and then the reproduction would start. When I switched to Apple Music it doesn’t do that anymore. It just plays a chime indicating that the request has been received and then the song playback start.My question is - is this a bug or feature? :D Is enunciating what is being played not available for Apple Music?Thanks in advance!

Hi, We have 5 Sonos speakers in total, using Wifi setup to connect to the speakers. 4 of them are grouped whereas one is individual speaker. (4 Sonos 5; 1 Sonos Era 100)We have set alarms from 730AM to 730PM and the playlist are from SoundTrackYourBrand (12 hours in the settings).However, the alarm is only trigger/playing on the individual speaker as shown below: Please help!

Sonos deletes songs from my playlists and substitutes them for other songs in My Music. Why, and how do I stop this happening?

I have a new Sonos setup (2 x Era 100 speakers with a Sub Mini).  It works perfectly with my iPhone 16 over Airplay 2, and on my mac mini it works fine using the Sonos App.However, my mac mini refuses to connect to it via the system “sound” settings.  I can see the Sonos, but when I try to connect it just fails.  I also cannot cast any audio using the Apple Music app, or any third party all for that matter.I have tried restarting both the Mac and Sonos system to no avail.  Ideally, I want to use the Sonos speakers as my Mac speakers, for all music/musics, etc.  I cannot be restricted to use within the Sonos app.They are both on the same network, so that is not the issue.  Any ideas?

I am using Sonos1.added MyTuner as a service to Sonos.like to Play Station MyTuner: FilSwissFM.This station does not play via Sonos.using MyTuner as stand alone app, FilSwissFM plays through MyTuner.please find the reason why Sonos can not play this station and correct the problem.

First this small entry from the ‘Spotify’ community for the background. I seem to not be the only one struggling with it: Spotify will play track A, continue to B.Then it stops, while showing it's still playing A, but at the end.If I hit 'Next' it will play B again.So, I have to hit 'Next' again to go to track C.It will play C, then D.And then it stops, showing it's still playing C.I have to again hit 'Next' twice to go to E. I have the above problem, and after a few weeks of non-interrupted music, it started again.And I think it has to do with Sonos alarms, or with a lack of proper communication between Sonos and Spotify. Below are:(A) for the Alarm Song,(X) for the song that was running before the alarm started, and(N1) for new song 1 and (N2) for new song 2. Sonos was playing an alarm song, (A).I launched Spotify (desktop).In Spotify, the playing alarm song (A) was not seen. Hi all,I tried many time after updating to iOS 26 and wanted to connect with Sonos app to my Sonos play 1. But it does not work and even when I connect cable it works but once I take out the cable again it is gone and not working. Anyone know the issue ? Thanks 

I had all my Sonos on one app. I was able to group all my speakers in any scheme. Now I am setting up my system after getting back in house after flood and I have to run two apps. What happened. Two of my speakers are “not compatible” with sonos1 app. I lost my capability to group my speakers    I have called Sonos and spent time in phone deleting system adding app adding speakers again resetting speakers deleting apps adding other apps WTH. I also can’t use Sonos I had on my laptop. Web app doesn’t work. Sonos app doesn’t work sonos1 app doesn’t work  what happened?I am so frustrated over such a simple thing to do  

My phone is not capable of iOS 17, so I can’t download the update to the Sonos app. How can I then “add a device” (2 x era 300’s)?thanks

I dont see the new contextual Play-Button after Update App and System. 

for years I used the apple music app on phone/mac/apple tv. I find the interface intuitive. If I search for an artist, it shows that artist with the option to navigate to albums, songs, "artist essentials" ect. In sonos app, I don't get that. If I search for an artist, the results are just mashed together. It makes exploring the work of an artist almost impossible. For reasons unclear to me, the interface through the sonos app is different for the worse. Im I missing something?

I updated to the latest and I am not seeing the new play button functionality. It still behaves like it did before this update. Is this a slow roll out?

This has got to be one of the sickest jokes ever.. One year after the dreadful Sonos update, I noticed that I could finally edit and create new sonos playlists again. However after editing some of my old playlists, and creating a few new ones I now receive an error when opening these playlists saying that "the content is not available". This doesn't make any sense; some of the lists I just created, so the music is obviously still available. I have no problems with my WiFi, my system is up-to-date, and there doesn't seem to be a glitch either as I still can't access the playlists after closing/opening the sonos app multiple times. So everything signs to the sonos app still not working as it should be.Is anyone else experiencing smth similar? Right now creating playlists feels like playing Russian roulette; you could spend hours creating them, and who knows if you can still access them seconds later..  

I know this is a long shot, but is there any chance that Sonos could develop a simple app for WearOS? It wouldn’t even have to be full featured: simple play/pause/ffwd/rew controls would be great.We had a simulacrum of this with the old Sonos app, which correctly registered as a media player with Android so it could be controlled from the notification shade and the lockscreen, which meant it could also be controlled by the watch, but this has been gone ever since the new app came out.  

I’ve upgrade my IPad Pro M4 to latest iPadOS 26. When trying to stream music from YouTube to Sonos system via AirPlay/Blutooth, it  get the message “Something went wrong. Tap to retry”. Tap but still doesn’t work. But if I switch back to iPad speaker, works just fine.

I've been experiencing issues for the past few days—possibly since the update that rolled out yesterday. On my iOS device (iOS 18.7), I’m currently unable to enable or disable Trueplay. My setup includes a Beam Gen2, two Era 100s, and a Sub Mini (firmware 80.29.4).When I reboot the Beam Gen2, the Trueplay toggle briefly reappears in the app.However, as soon as I interact with it, the toggle vanishes again.It’s quite odd. Do I need to reset my entire system, or is something else going on?

Hi Community,First time posting on this community but I’m a long suffering Sonos customer!  In the “good old days” if my memory serves me correctly, a “group” was called a “zone”. When we wanted to play the same audio source simultaneously on different zones, the app just copied the source to the various zones but control was independent i.e. you could pause a specific zone or change the volume of the zone and it didn’t impact the rest of the speakers. Now the current iteration is by a far a great improvement in so much as “party mode” (as think it used to be called) is true everywhere play controls house is in sync.  What I am missing however is, what if I want to control a group as part of “everywhere”. For example, “upstairs”, “downstairs” & “garden” each have 3 speakers in them in various rooms. I want to turn “garden” up but leave the rest unchanged - I have to change all three individually within the “playing now” control for “everywhere” - OR because the “garden” group exist

​@Corry P  hey, thanks for your help. I’ve updated my router today. I’ve only just managed to get it working. It was a bit complicated (well for me 😂🙈) but I can’t believe how quickly the products connect to it. It makes me think I should have maybe spent a bit more on the router ! I ended up going for the TP-LINK AX53 based on its price range (£59.99) and also its reviews on Amazon. yes I know it’s only been on for an hour but I thought I’d best get on here and say thanks. yes this is all in one post.
