Hi

I have S2 Sonos equipment in 3 different rooms and I access it from Desktop apps on 3 PCs and from my android phone.

Today, the app on the main desktop that I use failed to find my system. The other two PCs and my android phone have no issues.

The problem PC can access the status of each sonos speaker using their IP addresses, so there eis not a firewall/network problem.

I have tried all of the solutions offered by Google Gemini and on this site - uninstal/reinstall, delete the Sonos,_Inc folder etc but no success.

Does anyone here have any ideas?

Thanks, Alan

Thank you. Not the exact solution but made me ask the right questions and also remember that I have installed Tailscale on my laptop so that I can access a remote NAS without using the university Cisco VPN, which cuts off all my local network. It was Tailscale that was stopping the Sonos app. I now have the right settings in Tailscale and all is good.

That sounds like a name resolution issue, don't do Windows here so no suggestions for a fix.
