Youtube Music - skipping to next some minutes into each track

When I play long DJ sets from Youtube Music, it always skips to next after a while (typically 10-20 minutes into the track). I have tried removing YT from Sonos services and adding it back in (this trick usually works with Soundcloud), but the issue persists.

Any ideas?

Probably best to wait for the issue and quickly submit a diagnostic to capture your internal data. Sooner is better 10 minutes is probably close to too late. Once submitted call Sonos support and have it looked into.

This is a communication issue. As SONOS starts a track or service a buffer is populated. As music is fetched it is pushed into one end of the buffer, then played from the other end. If there is a missing, corrupted, or delayed block of music, content still flows from the buffer at the usual rate, but the buffer is somewhat depleted. If the buffer becomes fully depleted, the player must mute or it may move to the next track if there is another interruption. As the player moves to the next track, the buffer can be. refilled. If there is a regular sequence of communication issues, there will be regular track aborts.

Likely this is an issue with the YouTube connection. This could be local or remote. The Diagnostics will supply details.
