Controllers and Music services

I can't use YouTube Music in my Sonos app. Nothing shows up in the app, totally blank. I've installed the app multiple times, relinked my accounts, restarted the router and so on. Searched the forums and web, no answer. Am I doomed here?  

Since the update to macOS Tahoe I have been unable to connect to the Mac Sonos app. I have re-installed the app but that has made no difference. I spoke with an agent on  Sonos chat and he said as the update had only just happened that might be the reason. I thought that’s why Apple released beta versions  so cos could sort out any problems prior to the general release. It’s working fine on my iphone that was updated at the same time

Can anyone help….File sharing is on, Media sharing on..In Privacy smbd, sonos and SonolibraryServer are allowed access to files and folders

Imagine if you could EVEN order your playlists?  I mean, it's gotten to the point, where what IS the point of having great sounding speakers through out the house...when the controller of the music you can play is awful.    Remember using the alphabet?    Imagine if you could organize your music like cd’s or records of yore.  Or, at least, imagine if it was more compatible with the dynamic players who on the flip side don’t have speakers. Like Soundcloud, or Spotify or Tidal. It’s like, hit play, and guess what will come out, guess which speakers will connect on any given day...because there is no control.Why oh why won’t Sonos build interface that is respectful of music and music listeners? Please????   

I rename it over and over, yet it always reverts. I rename it in the system settings for that speaker under the old name to the new name. Looks OK for awhile.Then...THE HORROR! It’s back! Again and again and again and again and again.God have mercy on my soul.

My speaker groups drop out and come back whenever I start music or skip a track (Apple Music and Spotify). And sometimes just randomly. Based on what I’ve read here, it seemes like a Wi-Fi interface issue, and I have followed every suggestion, to no avail. But today I realized that the problem is nonexistent when playing records via the analog-in on one of the two Fives. I’m praying that this info, in the right hands, might help me finally sort out the dropout issues when streaming. 

Hi there,just gotten my first Sonos product, a soundbar. I am testing the app right now and listen to a few songs.I am wondering how to scrobble the music I am listening to to last.fm though. Somehow I cannot find an integration. This is a huge surprise to be honest since every audio device or software I used in the past 20 years supported scrobbling.Not having scrobbling on the soundbar is annoying but it will mainly play movies. But when there is no scrobbling I cannot take Sonos serious as a music player and won’t get any other speakers which I will use for music listening.So any help for scrobbling is appreciated, and if its not possible take this post as a feature request.Cheers!

I almost only play Applemusic on my Sonos. I prefer to use AirPlay because to me it seems that if I play directly from the Sonos app, my plays are not registered in Apple Replay. Recently played songs are not listed in Apple Musics recently played list.  Neither can I see my songs played in stats.fm Does anybody know if there is a way to register that? I would like to play from the Sonos app but I will not lose my “history” by doing that.  K.R. John

Is anyone in Sonos support aware of the following intermittent AirPlay bug that has been introduced as of iOS 26.2? There appear to be quite a few people experiencing it, including me on two independent, physically disjoint Sonos systems.While it is likely to be a bug introduced on the Apple side of the connection, with networking you never know for sure, so perhaps Sonos support should reach out to Apple about it.AirPlay Bug Report on RedditDave Ings

Anyone have problems like this recently? I had to re-copy and re-index everything recently. Now some albums don’t have artwork. The artwork shows up on my computer in Apple Music, shows up in finder on my SMB server, but does not show up in Sonos controller on iOS or on MacOS. 

Sigh. Apologies for being a wet blanket, but after I got the Android lock screen controls, I thought it would be somewhat useful. But,after a few days, I find I don’t make use of it, and it takes a great deal of space in the notification pane. Also, it seems to come and go; it is not consistently there when I play something. Worse, I see now that there’s a musical note icon on my Pixel watch that brings up a mini Sonos controller. This might be useful; however, it is located in the same place as the notification dot, and with my fat finger I am constantly bringing up the controller when I want the notification. I can’t find a way to disable having this on my watch. So, I’d like to disable the lock screen on the app, but I see no way of doing that. Perhaps it is a phone setting, but I haven’t been able to find that either. Any help would be appreciated. I’m on a Pixel 10 and a Pixel 3 watch BTW.

I would like to be able to set the volume of certain rooms (that have an amp with external volume control) to a higher (or lower) initial volume. In the living room I have to either turn my external amp way up when selecting Sonos as input (and remember!!! to turn it down when switching input so the tv input don't blow the speakers) or when grouping rooms turn that one room all the way up in Sonos). I like the rooms to be the same volume across inside Sonos so they all reflect the actually volume level.So basically adjusting the delta volume per device when set to variable line out.  I have not found a way to achieve this yet. 

So I been having this issue where Spotify will not play properly it will skip or stutter ect continually, I have contacted support and told its WiFi issues, then something else and now this see below, so my question is When will this is be resolved? 

Just for fun I made an almost lp size pixelated album art display that is Sonos compatible. Has several modes to alternate between art and title/artist views.

Chatgpt says they are gone with the ‘new’ app?? What? I can force them to appear when adding songs … but how on earth do I navigate to them… wonderful ux… gosh 

Anyone else getting this? When you click the play triangle, it shows the square stop for a moment (which shows when it’s playing), and then goes back to the play triangle. The infinite mix channels are fine, but Live on 1 and Live on 2 are not working.

Some of my Sonos speakers don’t show volume sliders in the app and it’s driving me crazy. Audio plays fine and grouping works, but I can’t control volume for some of my speakers. It always ends up that one volume slider remains, while the rest disappear. And this on al my devices, they even show the same volume sliders grayed out.What I’ve already tried: All speakers are on the same 5GHz network, same AP Disabled AP isolation, client isolation - no change Turned off WiFi band steering - no change Played with IGMP snooping settings on my switches - still broken No multicast rate limiting configured Speakers have static IPs assigned Wireshark shows that all speakers are communicating, on both IGMP and SSDP. Even the ones that don’t show the volume sliders. The only thing that works is restarting my router, but even then the problem always returns. Running TP

Album art is working for my local NAS library when I'm selecting albums, and shows in the summary page when I'm playing a track.   But when I look at the queue there's no album art. That's not a big deal when just playing an Album but it's a pain when building a multi-album queue or playlist.  This works on the iOS app, and I thought it was working recently in Android. But not any more. Had something changed? I don't think anything has changed in my set up. I have re-added the music library, but that doesn't help.

why my OneSL cant connects to youtube music. Even after sign in and connects in everywahere

After the latest update i can no longer change the time for an alarm or set up a new alarm. All on a Samsung phone. The keyboard disappears before I can type any numbers. Don't people test these updates before they are rolled out?

Hello Sonos Team and Community,I own multiple Sonos speakers (including One SL) and have been a loyal user for years. Recently, I can no longer play Radio Rock (Finland) on Sonos. Instead of the station, I only get “Welcome to TuneIn” and ads looping endlessly.Here’s what I’ve tried:Removed and re-added TuneIn (New) in the Sonos app Logged in with my TuneIn account and added Radio Rock as a favorite Rebooted speakers, reset network, cleared cache Tried Sonos desktop app and mobile app Verified that the station works in TuneIn’s own appNothing works. Previously, I could add a custom stream URL to Sonos and bypass TuneIn issues, but Sonos removed that feature in recent updates. This leaves me with no way to listen to a major Finnish radio station on a multi-thousand-euro system.This is unacceptable. Please:Fix TuneIn integrat

Hi, thought I would ask here first before contacting Sonos support. I own a variety of era 100s and 300s and a gem 2 beam in different rooms. I can play music directly fly through my tidal app and cast it to whatever speaker with no issue whatsoever. However when I try to play music through the Sonos app and select a speaker it just loads and eventually says it’s having trouble. Interestingly I can play a song straight away in the Sonos app of if I click the three dots and click play now (I think this is some kind of queue function). I tried removing and re authorising my tidal account through the Sonos app but to no avail. Any suggestions would be appreciated.thanks 

All rooms/products show “no content”.  Have tried rebooting each product, unsuccesfully.  This has happened several times in the last 2 weeks.  I installed a new Arc Ultra 2 weeks ago, unsure if this is related.  Sonos support reset my system yesterday and it worked for a few hours and then returned to the no content status.

Does SONOS have anything in the pipeline to replace TuneIn for customer URL’s?  Tim C
