Controllers and Music services

So, seems other people have had the same issues. Trying to log into my app and control my system. I’d like to play my music. App keeps asking to log into. Then says it wants to connect to the website to log into. When I do it takes me to their store not my account. Going back to app it asks me to sign in. I have existing devices but they don’t all show and asks me again to sign in. Yet the app also shows I’m signed in. Every time I try to sign out it’s jumps to an error and timed out pop up. Just keeps sending me in circles. The Sonos app has been having major problems for years now. There’s simply no excuse any longer for this mess. This isn’t the first time I’ve had issues connecting and maintaining connections. Last time I spent 3-4 hours trying to connect my system. Your speakers sound good. But if you can’t connect they are absolutely worthless. 1000’s of dollars invested in your system and your app is S***. Sick and tired of it. I’m selling everything. 

If I clear my Recently Played entries (to avoid issues with old data) and play something from my Favorites, an Amazon Station, it plays with no problem. My goodness add ing music so that Sonos can play it is NASTYThe last time I saw something this complex was when the OS was Unix 5.4.Is Sonos really this bad?A way to be able to play music on music speakers is really really complex, I have a large (ish) library collected over decades.And Sonos a Music Speaker company really does not want users to well play music.It has taken several hours to figure out how to just point the MacOS Sonos app at the local Music folder.Wow these developers weren’t on drugs, which is what I assumed, they are vindictive, nasty people who hate people who like music, their reason d’être is to punish people and to discourage people.Never have I encountered such anti user programming, some ideas for improvement, the path to the library must be in hexadecimal using java syntax.Come guys there is so much more potential to hate on your customer base.Keep trying you will get there!!The question

I have been with sonos from the inception, I loved and recommend it to countless people. I have a huge setup with mixed generations. But I'm having the worst sonos experience for the last 5 months on my android phone (Samsung Galaxy ultra s25). Hoping the issues will be fixed but I'm losing hope. The basic s*** like I can't find devices in the app, it keep asking to register the new device, searching for devices every time I open the app... Driving me nuts, the whole concept of sonos to me is quality of music at the touch of a button. Just an update to a previously reported issue Duplicate album names queued together | Sonos Community.  I have this album on my music library (apologies for some of the titles, but that’s the way it is): File list for album tracksThe album is listed three times in the controller: Selecting any one of the duplicate titles shows only one track: The

Album art is working for my local NAS library when I'm selecting albums, and shows in the summary page when I'm playing a track.   But when I look at the queue there's no album art. That's not a big deal when just playing an Album but it's a pain when building a multi-album queue or playlist.  This works on the iOS app, and I thought it was working recently in Android. But not any more. Had something changed? I don't think anything has changed in my set up. I have re-added the music library, but that doesn't help.  

Hi, I have a problem with playing Apple Music Chill recently. Everything from Apple Music works just great, only Apple Music Chill radio won’t play and the app shows message the It’s not encoded correctly.Everything others plays with no problem.I tried to reauthorized the Apple Music, delete it and add it again etc.Strange is that all other stations plays with no problem and I doubt that Apple is encoding that one station differently then the others.Any idea? Thanks, Jakub 

Hi all. Ive just got my new era 300s. Ive taken the old one sl's off the room on the app but am i best deleting and reinstalling the app before setting up the era 300s? Thank you

Can you control sonos from more than one phone?

When I look at the albums now in my library and the album has multiple artists it is split into many entries in the display. Effectively making the album view useless at it is not possible to play one album with multiple artists (and it it not reasonable to try and make hundreds of play lists one for each album manually).This is not how the album view worked in the old app :(

Hi everyoneRadio France's FIP radio links load ok using the Sonos app on an iPhone, but have stopped loading on an Android phone. Disconnecting/reconnecting Radio France to/from the app makes no difference, nor does clearing the cache of the app or a reboot of the phone.I am trying to avoid reinstalling the app because I want to retain the data for my system's setup.Any ideas anyone please?

Hello Everyone,I woke up today to find that my Mac Controller could no longer find my Sonos system. I reset Sonos Boost, router and the Mac controller but no luck.  System error says router is not in range and it is right next to my Mac. Is anybody aware of anything going on or have suggestions on how to resolve? I did notice an update to 26.1 of Sequoia as I was heading out the door today and perhaps that will resolve.  I am not sure if related, but I also noticed issues recently with my Mac and sites that use javascript. Perhaps all related? Thanks all in advance. 

I am unable to play my Spotify “liked” songs through the Sonos ap to my Sonos speakers. I can play all other Spotify features.  I saw other posts on this - with no real answer. Is this just a bug?  Is it because my liked songs list is 400+ or something else?  Thanks 

CBC Music has been broken since the app update. I really miss the music streams that used to work perfectly before — I’ve been checking regularly to see if the issue has been fixed, but now even the live channels (CBC One and CBC Music) won’t load.It’s disappointing that we’re heading into another Christmas without access to the music that’s been part of Canadian tradition for so many of us. It feels like Sonos has forgotten its Canadian users. Please fix this — it’s long overdue.

I’ve used a local add free radio station for my alarm for many years (DR P1). Recently, adds from Tune In began to play every morning. I then deleted Tune In from my stations, but it kept  playing Tune In adds. Every time i try to set-up the alarm using the local station it reverts to chime - or if i choose the station via Sonos Radio, it plays the adds from Tune In (even whithout it being in my stations).This is VERY annoying. Is Sonos becoming an add based system?

I have quite a few playlists saved in the Sonos app. Most include tracks I searched and saved from Napster to my Sonos playlist. A few days ago, none of those tracks would play. An error message ‘lost connection to Napster’ would pop up and every Napster-derived track would be skipped over until the Sonos app reached a track sourced from a different streaming service. I did the usual stuff — cut the Napster connection, rebooted everything, reauthorized Napster, yadda yadda.Nothing worked. Hello,Happy owner of several Sonos speakers I just bought a CD player, the FiiO DM13 BT, to be able to use again my old CDs.I succeeded to connect the player to my Move 2 or an Era 100 via BT but any sound from the speakers…Do you think I have to use the Sonos PORT with this CD player to be able to enjoy my CDs ?(I have a lot of them already ripped in my NAS but still have others...)TIA

Hello, ever since the app update, I have been unable to create a room group without the playback stopping. Usually, I start listening in one room, then decide I want the playback in the full apartment so I attempt to add a room to the group. Every time, it stops the playback. Sometimes I completely lose the content I was playing and have to restart everything from the beginning. This happens no matter what service I am streaming from (usually spotify), and whether I create the group in the Sonos iOS or Mac app. So incredibly frustrating. 

I have been receiving the error message below in the Sonos app for the last few weeks whenever I try to listent to the CBC content provider through the Sonos app. 

I can't use YouTube Music in my Sonos app. Nothing shows up in the app, totally blank. I've installed the app multiple times, relinked my accounts, restarted the router and so on. Searched the forums and web, no answer. Am I doomed here?
