On my iPhone 15 Pro, in My System Settings I have no control of anything in there. It’s telling me to sign out and sign back in to have access to my system settings. It keeps repeating the same messages. Even when I go to Manage it won’t let me sign in. But on my iPad I can sign in and go into my settings. I made sure both my iPhone and S2 app were updated to the latest version. I deleted and reinstalled the Sonos app on the phone. The messages says… “Sonos” Wants to use “Sonos.com” to sign you in. This allows the app and website to share information about you. I hit continue and sign in…. Next message says Sign in as the System Owner, To manage these settings, sign out and sign back in as the owner of this system. It’s on repeat. It won’t let me sign in on my iPhone. Is this part of the update from many months ago. The crazy ass updates that messed everything up? Again, no issues with my iPad.
I recently added the Arc to my TV Room and had no issues using my iPhone a week ago. I wanted to Trueplay my PlayBase which I added to my Bedroom TV. It would let me use Trueplay on my phone. I had to use my iPad.
Hi
I’m sorry to hear that you’re having trouble connecting as the system owner. There was an issue regarding this previously, but it has since been resolved by app updates.
Since you can connect on your iPad, I’d recommend checking that your iPhone doesn’t have any of the required Sonos App permissions disabled, as this could prevent you from using the app or give issues when using it.
I’d also check that the account you’ve signed into on the iPad is the same as the one on the iPhone. With the new version of the app, any Sonos account can log into a system but only the system owner can change any settings, so it could be that the iPad is using a different account if you use multiple email addresses. You can check this by going to your profile in the Sonos app and the email of the account is listed at the top.
If the accounts are the same, then try and transfer system ownership in the Sonos app using the iPhone by heading to Settings → Manage → Transfer System Ownership, then follow the steps in the app.
If the above doesn’t help and you’re still getting the ‘Sign in as the System Owner’ message, then please reach out to our support team for further troubleshooting assistance, as they have the necessary tools available to help you resolve this.
I hope this helps!

Hi Jamie. Thank you for the reply. You are right. I do have 2 accounts, one for my personnel email and another for my work email. They both were different when I checked. The iPhone was on my work email account and my iPad was on my personnel account. When I tried to change my iPad to my work email it did not recognize it and did the same thing my iPhone was doing, asking me to sign out and sign back in again. On repeat. I use my work email so I can get 15% off all Sonos products. I also use it for here, posting here in the community forum. So is it okay to have 2 emails?
