I decided to dip my toe back into the Sonos ecosystem after using the application and product many years ago. I needed new speakers, so I ordered a pair of E100s from Best Buy. I was shocked to see access required for location, network passwords, etc. just to use the app. Needless to say, I'm returning your s***** product because this is egregious!  You’re overstepping here Sonos.…

It’s a networked speaker that when connecting to your wifi needs the credentials. Also check out the privacy policy it’s not that bad. I mean you give them permission to sell your data but all things considered it’s better than most.

You are shocked that a networked Wi-Fi speaker needs your network password?  Or speakers which stream from 100+ music services, some of which are not available in every location, needs your location to determine which services to connect to?
