SiriusXM alarms quit working today. When I try to start a channel none are listed and it shows unable to browse music. Also my SiriusXM account is greyed out when I look at the. diagnostic 1131391212

Hey, what is the secret to streaming podcasts on a Sonos speaker.  I have added Spotify already and I’m able to play music just fine because songs and/or artists come up in the Sonos app search on the , no problem.  However, if I wanna stream a podcast on my Sonos and do a search in the "podcasts & shows" on my Sonos app none of the podcasts in my Spotify library come up.  What is the secret here?  I used to listen to podcasts on Sonos all of the time. Please advise! 

I have audio recordings of children’s books I’ve made for my kids. I have it set up so I can stream them from my Drobo 5N2 media server. This works well for things like Plex on my smart TV, but I am having issues with streaming audio to Sonos. It works well most of the time, but then will suddenly skip the current track and start playing the next one. I have confirmed that it is inconsistent whether a given track is skipped, and there doesn’t seem to be anything wrong with the media files.Here is my diagnostic number: 783586731. The Play:1 device is called “Playroom” that has been skipping the tracks.Thank you.

Hi, sorry for the noob question... totally new to Sonos (yesterday) and trying to get everything sorted in the app.I have a lot of tracks in playlists in my YT library that I now want to stream on Sonos. I've set up all my other streaming services successfully...but not YT.I've linked and authorized through Sonos app and YT, but when I access YT in the Sonos app I get the message 'Unable to browse music'.I've deleted and started again...no difference.I've re-authorized...no difference.Any suggestions for a fix before I ditch the Sonos app (on day 2 😂!) and buy a Bluetooth receiver.Many thanksRob​​  

Morning all,Been meaning to install a new Play 5 for some time and at last got round to it last night. Working nicely but cannot see InTune radio options on the Android S2 app. I can see it on the laptop on Windows.Reason to upgrade the old Play 5 for a new one was to get the last couple of devices off S1 and it’s mainly a radio access device.I can see Sonos Radio but it’s not so easy see where to access things like BBC Radio 4 ….  a lot of more abstract BBC channels and indeed some it’s very useful to have …. e.g CNN radio.But is InTune or more normal / localised means of accessing UK based radio channels still on the app? Most likely I’m missing something hugely obvious but it’s not jumping out at me. I don’t tend to use radio so much but the wife does being the more educated one. Appreciate any direction on this. Many thanksApp screenshotWindows screeshot 

HelloI have an issue with Spotify service on Sonos. When i listen to a playlist and then like the song that is playing i go to the queue and select repeat 1 to just play this song for the next couple of times.after doing so, Sonos plays the song once completly and when the song is played the second time it gets restarted after about 15 seconds over and over again.i know there are a couple of threads about this issue and one of them is about one year old and is answered with „known issue, spotify and sonos are working on it“. after having this problem since about 5 years i thought i will ask if there is any solution on the way?EDIT: Diagnostics number 1469809923thank you in advance.willey

Regarding Radio Paradise streaming problems (music tracks repeating constantly), is anyone at Amazon or Sonos addressing this issue?? Anyone at Amazon or Sonos interested?

Slowly but surely over the last few years Sonos as a platform has really gone downhill to the point where im considering looking for an alternative to replace my system. Here’s just a few of my gripes: The failure to move away from SMB1 and the security flaws therein I’ve moved a pair of Sone Ones from my bedroom to the lounge and renamed them, but every time I go back into the app the speakers rename themselves back to master bedroom Album artwork hardly ever shows in the app Playlists will disappear from view for weeks on end then randomly show up for a couple of days only to disappear again. That’s not specific playlists, it’s the actual playlists section completely disappears from the star section of the app New albums are added to my network share but no matter how many times I update music library they don’t appear, then couple weeks later they’ll magically appear We have a Play 1 in the nursery which plays lullabies to our child at bedtime, the same songs were queued on the devi

New laptop, music library copied from old lap top to new laptop, looks like the folder is recognised in SONOS Folders but SONOS will not update the Sonos music library playlists on the new laptop. I have removed the old music path. Still, no playlists are being indexed. I have read similar posts and I believe I have it set up correctly . Please help ASAP.Thanks, Carolyn

I listened to Audible books for many years on my Sonos system. That was Audible.com. I now use Audible.co.uk. I find and begin the books easily. My problem is that the system doesn’t save my place. At first, I noticed it would go back to an earlier chapter. Now, it doesn’t even do that. Every time I come back to a book I have to start from the beginning and jump from chapter to chapter until I get to where I left off. All this assumes I neatly finish listening at the end of a chapter. Otherwise, it is chaos.I spoke to Audible.co.uk help. Of course, they said it was nothing to do with their books. I needed to speak to Sonos. I told them that I had no problem listening to books from Audible.com. They were not impressed.I don’t see anyone else with this exact problem. Anyone have any idea what might be happening? I tried to reinstall Sonos. No difference. I’m using S2.

All,Pocket Casts are not showing on Sonos for too long. What is happening ? Please can you give an update? Thanks.

Same issue as 4 months ago. Error:unable to browse musicsonos app on iOS updated to 14.16 recently and problem started. Anyone else?desktop app same issue and error. 

Canadian user here having issues listening to CBC radio1 through TuneIn radio. It has become incredible annoying to try to listen to the radio through TuneIn over the past few weeks as every fe minutes the program cuts out to hear the”tunein song”, and sometimes ads. This is a new problem, and is driving me crazy. I have updated all apps and operating systems. Does anyone have any advise? Please. 

Cannot share USB audio files with SONOS v2 systemRouter Model: TP-Link Archer C8Hardware Version: V3Firmware Version: 1.1.3 Build 20220510 rel.32759(5553)The USB drive plugged into the Archer C8 shows it is active in the Archer C8 advanced USB settings.  All files are shared with no login required.The network address is:  \\192.168.1.1\sda1\USB_MusicWindows explorer can find the music files OK and can play them,  but the SONOS v2 system cannot access the music library.I have worked extensively with TP-Link and SONOS customer support, but they were unable to resolve this problem.  SONOS suspects a problem with the TP-Link Archer C8's implementation of SMB1 and/or SMB2 protocols.I have tried sharing the USB drive with and without user login and password, but neither works.I just updated the router to the latest version firmware, but that did not resolve this problem.Any suggestions from other users would be welcomed.

This morning all channels are inaccessible reporting connection lost or not encoded properly  

When connecting to a radio station, the TuneIn jingle and an ad play over and over again. Other stations are working. This station WAS working just two days ago. What gives ?

I recently reset my Apple Music password and now Sonos won't connect to my Apple Music account. The setup on the Sonos App keeps saying that Apple can be played but when I click on the Apple icon I get a message that the account needs to be reauthorized. Having tried this repeated timed and also removing the Apple service, waiting 10 minutes and reinstalling, the Music service still cannot be browsed. Any suggestion please?

When i try to search for a song on the sonos app, the app loads for a couple of seconds, they I get the message: No results found in songs.I have tried to delete both the app and the connection to Spotify several times. 

Is there anywhere I can get updates on the issue that has been going on for nearly a week now?I have Apple Music added via the Sonos App however, It is constantly asking me to re-authorise Apple Music.  I have done this a few times and ends up saying “Unable to browse music”.Service Status Page indicated no issues with Apple Music (there is a partial outage in my opinion). Been told a few times on chat “Use an iOS device”, I don’t have one and shouldn’t have to have one, to be able to use the services fully.

Hello everybody,I have a problem when trying to play music on my Sonos roam via the Spotify app on my phone, all done with wifi.The roam speaker and the phone are both connected to the same wifi and are updated (roam system and spotify app) to the latest version.When asking the voice assistant to play music on spotify it works fine.The problem arises though when I am listening to some music on my phone, and I want to transfer it to my roam speaker. I can see the device on spotify connect, but when I click to link it it just remains on “connecting...” and never really connects, so I can’t control roam via my app, but just with google assistant.I found out that if put music on the roam speaker using spotify on my laptop then it works fine, and once roam is playing I can see it also on my spotify app. This kind of a workaround lets me use the mobile app to play music on the roam speaker if selected from playlists, but for some reason it doesn’t let me play music from the popular songs in

I get the above message  on my system frequently, the issue almost always resolves itself within a minute or two, without further intervention. it seems to occur more, if I haven’t used the controller for a few hours.I suspect my iPhone is going to sleep and then reconnecting to Wifi and maybe needs a bit of time to sort itself out. any suggestions? running 2 play 1s and 2 play 3s on S2 software. thx

I”m running S2 Sonos, I have it installed on my MacBook Pro (2021) and have about 7 Zones defined.My Music index scheduled for 2AM every morning hasn’t been working for years, just now decided to put in a the issue here to see if there are any suggestion.  It is running of a Drobo NAS which has been for years, but I can say for the past 3 years or so my music indexing schedule is not working.  If I run it manually it works fine.At this point the only issue I have is having a scheduled index running.  I leave the desktop applicaition running and still does not run, of course the only way I can see this is I have a playlist I auto populate with any 5 stars ratings, this is update almost on a daily basis(adding/removing) but when I try and play the  playlist (usually once every 2-3 weeks) it always has songs which I know are not in the current playlist but yet they still show up in Sonos imported playlist. Any suggestions on how to fix the schedule indexing? thanks.Mario.

I have ripped a CD to my NAS as a FLAC 16 bit file but when I try to play it back on my Play 3 or Beam there is no sound even though the track timer is moving along. It plays fine if I play it back on my laptop.Any clues what I am doing wrong please?

I’ve got a library with about 35k FLAC tracks (stereo 44.1/16 bit) and when pointing Sonos at the library, it appears to do all the right stuff, including asking me to enter my credentials since this library in my Mac, but not in the generic music folder.But it never indexes a single song.  And it doesn’t throw any errors.  Drive is connected directly to the Mac in question.  (System is all S2; checked for updates to controller and players, and there are none available.) What else can I check?
