Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

SO, there has been an update…. Local Library is back...HOWEVER I can not add it to my Sonos . Ive followed everything on here ...IS THERE SOMETHING IM MISSING ?????  I managed to get it to recognise my external drive as a NAS and it worked ...BUT AGAIN since the update for the Local library IM NOW UNABLE TO EVEN DO THAT ….IT USED TO BE SO SIMPLE TO ADD YOUR LIBRARY.  IM SLOWLY LOSING HOPE THAT THIS WILL EVER BE AS GOOD AS IT WAS BEFORE THID NEW APP. HEEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLP

I have a speaker pair on which I previously could adjust left and right balance.  With the the new app update I cannot adjust left and right balance !!! So my speakers are stuck with the balance towards the right speaker which I use when I work at my desk.  Please tell me how to adjust balance with app new update or explain how to go back to previous version. This is not acceptable.The whole update is clunky and hard to use.  Also it seems the app is pushing you to use Sonos music services.  And it feels like you are bing pushed to use Voice App.I have spent $$$ on speakers to listen to my music.  The app should let me do that easily and seamlessly. 

After years of flawless performance, my SONOS system is presently unusable. Some member of Mensa decided to do some “updates”. Not impressed, regardless of “CEO” announcements. SONOS no longer recognizes half my products, wont play more than one song. This system is about to go into a garage sale or garbage minus my MOVE and ROAM that will at least still play over bluetooth. 

I have several sonos devices for different rooms and throughout the day the volume levels are not steady in the different rooms. The volume adjusts itself on its own without me opening the app to change the volume levels. 

Just installed this update.  Couldn't see my system , wanted extra Bluetooth permissions on Android which I didn't allow.  Restarted, system found!However, on both iOS & Android apps Apple Music no longer displays the lossless system.  Moved the track position back & forth a few times, but still no logo.Is this yet another bug in this "update" or are we back to lossy streams from Apple Music?Thanks 

Like everyone else, I have had so many issues with the app. I was finally able to install/index my music library from iTunes. However, it unfortunately stopped working.  I called support and the reuploaded it for me. Now I get the message “UNABLE TO BROWSE MUSIC” if i click on a specific playlist, artist or song. I have called customer support twice on this issue and they just delete and reupload my music library. However, once the library is fully indexed/uploaded, I get the same message. So reuploading the music library is not the solution. If I try to access my music library from the app on my iPhone, it either won’t show my imported music library or say “error, try again” if I try to play a song from it.I have a Mac and an iPhone. Has anyone else had this issue? Any solutions?

I have had nothing but problems since I’ve bought these products, the app is garbage. Just keep it simple. I even have three garbage speakers. I will never spend another dime on Sonos. As expensive as these are you would think would care about the quality of the product. No access to the my library that was the only reason a bought this garbage. I have bought over 14 different products 3 don’t even work or connect unless on Ethernet cables. If I could get my money out of them I’d buy something else. I even have an inside person at the company in Sanat Barbara. She really didn’t have an answer for me. Can’t fix ****. For years.  Should have gone with Bose this kind of money. Are the upcoming fixes going to address the 500-song limit on imported playlists? This limit makes me want to ditch Sonos—super annoying! I entertain several times a year & have curated themed playlists & this limit stinks!

I have started to notice a rumbling noise from the speaker whilst watching the TV anyone else have this problem 

Tv sound through my arc soundbar suddenly stops while watching tv. Only work around is to go into sonos app and select tv sound.. this started happening with a June update 

New modem, new router- want. Same old network?

How do I get my system turned on and synced to my TV

As I understand it, the Ace can only be connected to my Sonos system through a soundbar. While I have a Ray soundbar that may eventually be supported, this isn't useful to me. I need the Ace to be connectable as if it were just another Sonos speaker. Until then, no sale!

Why are my volume controls no longer syncing? why do my Sonos randomly turn on and off at random times of the day and night….scared the bejeezus out of us  what is going on? 

Sonos Move suddenly stopped connecting to the network, only the white light blinks. Reset attempts do not help. In addition to Move, I also have Amp and Ikea Symfonisk on the network, all connected wirelessly. Everything worked without problems for several years.During testing, I noticed that if I turn off Amp, Move connects to the network and is visible in the application. When Amp is reconnected to power, Move stops playing music and is removed from the app. SYMFONISK is also disconnected from the network for a while.Diagnostic data ************Please help. Moderator edit: Diagnostic number recorded and removed.

I was shocked, shocked I tell you, to discover the web app actually shows the queue.Anyway, could you please remove the icons for the music service from them, the Apple red circle (and the YTM one) look terrible on the otherwise dark UX IMHO:Also: I don’t care what music service they came from. If I need to know for some reason, I can look at the main Now Playing area (where it shows it with a subtle little Apple icon, not the garish red music service circle).

Is Sonos boost no longer supported?  After most recent Sonos App update I was unable to find my system.  After disconnecting Boost and resetting WiFi router I was able to reconnect but no longer able to find Sonos Boost.  I tried factory reset on boost but never get to point where light turns steady green.  I have it dosconnected from system for now.

Until this morning, my system was running a large music library (24159 files, 112Gb) from a Buffalo LS220D NAS Drive (with SMBv2 enabled).I added a couple of new files and updated the music library and got the message that the music folder on the NAS Drive…“is no longer available. The device where the music files are stored may not be powered on, or the path may have changed. Go to Settings > System > Music Library Setup to check the path.”The NAS was definitely still available and working.I made the mistake of removing the music folder from the Sonos system and re-adding it, which just gave me the same message as above, but now with no music files on my system at all!I spent the rest of the day trying to make this work, but got nowhere and also called Sonos support, who were very helpful and seemed to have solved the problem, advising me to add the files back into my music folder in smaller numbers. I tried this.However, when I get to 5469 files, 22Gb I again get the message tha

Hi and PLEASE HELPSince I updated my Sonos app I‘m not able to connect to my Sonos System. My wife is still using the version before May 8th and everything runs perfect if I use her iPhone. so…. My network (WiFi) and all my Sonos Speaker are working. For 100% it is because of the app update. Is there anyone who can help or @SonosSupport… do you plan to push an update within the next days?

anybody else noticed a significant increase in ios battery drain using the new app? if left open, it runs in the background and drains the battery similar to spotify. nuts. is it the new squiggly lines used to indicate that a speaker is playing?! i have to make sure i close the app after using it and particularly at night. have gotten so i rely on the web app and only use the ios app when i have to. did anyone get fired for f-ing up this app and sonos in general? why can’t sonos go back to the old app, which had few if any problems instead of continuing to run over uses while it figures out what the f it is doing...and how long is that going to take, exactly?

I am considering a pair of Era 100s for a kitchen in my AirBNB. They will be in a high location and won’t be easily accessible, but would be permanently plugged in to power. Two questions: a) when plugged in to power, will they still go to sleep?, and b) what will wake them? When they get a music signal from the Sonos app, will they wake? What about a new user pairing on Bluetooth? Is this going to be a problem, because I would need to physically press the button on each unit to wake them? Any advice on their behavior would be appreciated.  

With the new update I can no longer control the volume on my speaker from the side of my iPhone when I’m connected via Bluetooth. I literally have to go over to the speaker and adjust the volume. If I go into the Sonos app and select the speaker that’s connected to Bluetooth to try and adjust the volume this way it then disconnects the speaker from Bluetooth and wants me to play through the app only which I can’t do bc I’m using BBC Sounds in the US or Audible and the integration with the app is bad. I used to be able to connect whatever I wanted to one of my Bluetooth Sonos speakers and then connect the rest of my system (Bluetooth and non Bluetooth) to whatever was playing through the Bluetooth speaker and adjust each speaker’s volume separately. This system is now barely usable the way it’s designed and I’m pretty upset. If there is a new way of doing this I haven’t realized please share.

Sonos Port is connected on same WiFi as new iPad running latest Sonos app with new account creds just for this single port. I can see there are 2 other system when adding a new system and a new device. For some odd reason, when I finish going through the motions of adding the new sonos port, I can see it added corrrectly after the updating process, but it never gets added to the new system i created. Been trying this for a bit. Hoping someone has some insight on what could prevent this part of the process. If I attempt to grab a new WiFI signal and connect the app and port to another wap, no issues at all. I just find it interesting that there are two other existing systems, and a third cant be added to an existing WiFi that has been working for years. Any takers??? Thanks in advance.

Hi, I have updated my iOS app to the latest 80.05.04 version, but the problem of not finding my speaker at launch remains, despite the speaker is playing at that instance. It's truly perplexing when I use the webapp on my notebook, it has no problem finding my speakers. I know about some discussions regarding the usage of 2.4ghz vs 5ghz, please, why do I have to change all those settings just for Sonos?Besides, when I "Update network" on the app, it has no issue finding my speaker. Why is that? Cause my iOS is always on 5ghz. Why can't you invoke the same routine for finding the speaker when I launch the app?

Tengo dos Sonos era 300 que los uso en conjunto con barra ARC y al configurarlos prácticamente no suenan. La barra Arc es la que lleva la salida de sonido principal y los dos sonos era 300 casi no se oyen. ¿Como los podré configurar para que sueñen equitativamente igual?
