Sonos One Doesn’t seem to want to work

Been boxed up for years took it out reset it several times plugged in either net etc. won’t connect

I would contact Sonos support about this.  If it’s been boxed up for years, it’s very possible that the version of firmware it’s currently on can’t be upgraded to the current version through the normal upgrade process.

Is the status light on and if so, what colour is it?
