Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

Just bought an Arc soundbar and hooked up to my Sony tv. I’m on the Sonos app and next to the TV it says Stereo pcm. This bar doesn’t seem to have much base or great sound the way I know Sonos speakers can have. I am in the Earc hdmi source just looking for advise or should I return this product. Thanks Guys

My Sonos Arc Utra disconects after 10 minutes from my Hisense 100U70N TV and switches back to the TV speakers. Does anyone have a solution for this? I have talked to tech support for both companies with no success.

I have  a Beam and two ERA 100’s and sub-woofer in my system.  For any audio source other than TV everything is great.  But for TV the ERAs have either no sound of a very weak distorted sound  

I have 2 era 100 and a sub mini.  While playing music on the phone all three work.  TV only allows 2 devices.  So sub is useless

Hello, If anyone has had a similar issue let me know; I have a Roku TV hooked up to a Sonos sound bar and they usually work great, for about three years we have had great sound with no complaints. Today, seemingly randomly, I can’t use the TV remote to increase the volume on the sound bar anymore. It will only accept inputs for decreasing the volume. I have tried the following to troubleshoot:Turned off the TV and left it off for over five minutes.  Unplugged the optical cable from the TV and left unplugged for five minutes before plugging it back in Unplugged the sound bar and left it unplugged for five minutes before reconnecting Changed the audio settings within the TV Tried a different remote that is also capable of changing the volumeIf anyone can help diagnose or resolve this issue let me know. HiI have a TV with one slot of HDMI connectori wanted to connect my Sonos Beam 2 to the TV and wanted to check which connector is ideally suited  thanks 

Both of my sono’s beams that I own have stopped appearing on my sonos 2 app. Looks like they were transferred to my legacy sonos 1 app that is disabled. How can get them back on my sonos 2 app “current app” to control?

Lots of posts on this but here is what I learned after many hours…The Sonos tech support site is wrong on how to fix this issue.  Their first step tells you to go to Windows support and add a local user account.  Then apply that account to file sharing.  What they fail to say is that when you install Sonos, a local user account named “Sonos Wireless HiFi System” is created.So here is how I solved the issue: Go to your Music folder on your PC  Right click and select properties  Select Sharing tab  Select the share button (NOT advanced sharing as Sonos tells you...) In the blank space next to the greyed out “Add” button, select the down arrow \/ You should then see “Sonos Wireless HiFi System” show up in the box below - click on that and select “add” Select the Share Button at the lower right to complete the process You will then see it take some time to share the folder and it may ask if you want

Hello -Wondering if anyone else is experiencing the the issue where you start an album/stations/playlist from Apple Music and after a random amount of time (sometimes in the first 30 seconds, and other times 5-10 mins), the song stops playing on the speaker(s), but the app shows that the song continues to play (this will continue on forever if I am playing a station). Music doesn’t start again from the speaker(s) until I start a new album/station/playlist.  I’m pretty sure this started with the new app update, but I can’t be totally sure as I do a fair amount of airplay music playing (which seems completely uneffected).  Here are the steps I have done to try and fix/debug this issue:Tried Amazon and TuneIn and both worked fine. Restarted app Tested multiple speakers (grouped and ungrouped) Restarted router/modem Restarted Sonos system Removed and re-installed Sonos app Removed Apple

I own and have SONOS installed on a MacBook Pro 2018.  Like most of us, went through the fiasco last year, and by late last year, THOUGHT things were looking good.  I’ve been trying to keep up with all the updates, and as of this moment, my SONOS system is not showing any new updates are available.   Yesterday, I added a few new songs from iTunes (newly purchased).  They show up, and I can play them from Apple Music.  But because I’ve not updated my music library since the purchase, SONOS can’t yet see them, so I thought I’d update my music library.  When I did, here’s what I saw and still see:When I go to the SONOS “Music Library Settings”, I see the following two locations (plus a third that I think is still working):/Users/macbookpro2018/Music/iTunes.     and/Users/macbookpro2018/Music/Media.localized.While I can’t rem

I have an arc 2- 300s and cannot true play my system am I missing something?

Hello community,I´ve had a bad start today: my Move 2 started blinking red (after being put in the charging base).I did the reset but even if now blinks green, I can´t find and connect it anymore. I´ve looked up already some other posts, did the login out and back in of the app. Still can´t be found. I can see a SONOS Wifi network, not sure if that hints at something.I´m grateful for any help! PS: I´m running Android on the phone and Win on the laptop. Nothing should have changed on my internet network...

I used to be able to play music on my Sonos through the Spotify app. A few weeks ago it stopped. Now although all three Sonos speakers appear in the Spotify app, when I try to connect to play music, the icon (bottom left of the screen) blinks for a few seconds and then nothing happens and the music keeps on playing on the device.Playing music in Spotify through the Sonos app works fine.Any ideas on how to fix this? 

The ArC SL is producing echoesi,occasionally when watching movies, and also during commercial breaks specifically when watching the Peacock streaming network. I have two 1’s and a sub connected to the system. Even when I turn off the 1’s and sub I still hear the echo from the soundbar. 

I have two Sonos era 100s in a stereo pair connected to one sonos sub. I have a second gen 3 sonos sub - can i add it to have dual subs?

I’m experiencing a problem with Sonos Arc Ultra soundbar and judging from the posts I found on the internet I’m not the only one.  There have been others experiencing the same or very similar issue with their Samsung, Sony and LG tv’s.My TV is Samsung QN90A.   The problem is that that Sonos does not let my TV switch away to TV speakers or other connected bluetooth earset.  After the switch is made, it temporarily succeeds and then again the sound is routed to Sonos after a few seconds.    I’m connecting over HDMI eArc output from my TV.  I have tried using Sonos cable, my own Anker high speed cable and the same thing happens.  With my Sennheiser Ambeo Plus soundbar, no such problem exists.  I can succesfully toggle between the different sound outputs on my TV.  What’s even more upseting, is that Sonos provides no power button.  So the only options are either to turn it off from the outlet or turn off CEC in the TV menu to accomplish this.

Hi, I have a sonos system S2 playbar, amp, two play 1s as stereo - all running ok. I do also recently was able to get my hands on S2 Connect Amp and I would like to use it to get my two ceiling speakers be utilized. On top of that would like to add play 3 S2 to the system. A lot of speakers but not connected they’re just not utilized, would like to put them to use. Anyone know how ? I did manage to add play 3 to the system and it allows me to group it can’t get it to stay grouped. I haven’t messed around with the connect amp. 

Sub mini not connecting. 

I am trying to switch to Spotify from Deezer on Sonos…It keeps telling me to sign out and back in again , which I do but it just keeps repeating this message and I can't access the Manage account or + account to do this..Any clues please ???

I Have two Sonos play 5 gen 1 ,which have been very good up till now .They have recently updated and the sound now is so distorted that you can't listen to them Needs a serious update to solve this

I can't connect to new network 

My amp only has a white light that keeps flashing when I try to reset it and I can't and it won't let me connect it to the network. I've already tried to reset it by connecting it to the network via cable and the white light keeps flashing slowly.

So I bought the Sub 4, installed and grouped it with my Sonos Arc Ultra, and I was really disappointed at the lack of thundering power.  I have the volume adjusted up to +15 and the sound its adding is underwhelming.  Does this sound right to others that have the Sub 4 or were my expectations just wrong?

I can’t add BBC Sounds to my Sonos Era 100 set. I’ve checked country settings (UK), have updated, reset and restarted app. I can see BBC Sounds in the list, but getting an error message after approving the app on the BBC site. Any tips?! Thanks!
