how do i use my ipad mini music library as a source for my sonos system?

iPhone app no control.  Can join system and see all devices. Sometimes get a message “unable to control system” web browser does control systemsame symptoms on two iPhones - both were working. Neither are company owned.  Pressing play button on any speaker will start the last source.   Lucky for me I like BBC 6music so at least I have some music. Buying five  Sonos devices to get a single Digital radio station is hardly a good deal   ACTION so far have deleted (latest) iPhone apprebooted iPhone left WiFi network and re-joined   NEXT actionrevert to S1 app? Feels like a huge effort to reset all five devices   

Hi - I haven’t been able to use my Sonos products from my phone in months now. I tried re-installing the app about 10 times, it opens to black screen with white logo, then turns to black screen and crashes. I have seen threads from 6 to 7 months ago with COLOROS users having the same issue, when will it be corrected ? I can wrap my head around the fact that there still isn’t a fix !  Specs of my phone :OPPO A72 COLOROS 11.1Android 11Qualcomm Snapdragon 665I know there is a web app, but it is not a viable long-term fix. There has to be a true corrective.Many thanks in advance for your support.

I have new units, arc connection works, but can get sub 4 to even be found I have rebooted both units and still sub 4 will not connect.solid orange light any suggestions?

Every now and then, SONOS app Sveriges Radio (P4) plays content with several hours delay. It can also start replaying segments from hours ago. Or loop. If I stop, and hit play again, it normally starts broadcasting in real time. Then, after a couple if days, or weeks even it happens again.Anyone else experienced this? Any clue why this happens? 

System goes in and out when changing the channel in my TV.

Yet again I re-installed My Music onto Sonos. It lasted two days and has vanished yet again. Also, although the app shows the Roam is playing, there is no sound and the app can't detect the Roam to attach it to another room.CEO incompetence is often cited as responsible for this car-crash of an app. Perhaps alternatively, it is their desire to actually drive people crazy with this deliberately appalling pile of junk.

Setup: Arc Ultra + 1 Sub 4 + 1 Era 300 + LG G4 TV (using eARC HDMI).Goal: Connect everything to the TV in one Sonos room with synced volume, without relying on my phone for adjustments while watching TV.Issues Encountered:After setup, I end up with two rooms: Family Room and Family Room 2. These can be grouped via the Sonos app, but: Grouping requires the Sonos app every time I watch TV. TV volume doesn’t sync properly with the Era 300 when grouped—its volume needs to be adjusted separately via my phone. The Era 300’s output is slightly out of sync with the Arc audio Question:How can I configure my setup so all devices are in one Sonos room with synced volume, eliminating the need for manual grouping or phone adjustments?

I’m trying to connect my Apple Music account to my Era 300 stereo speakers, and all I’m getting is a spooling circle when Authorising Apple Music account.  I’ve been trying for days, I have an iphone 14pro, all software on my Sonos app and phone is up to date.  My husband connect his account fine, and I connected mine on initial install, but had to do a factory reset on the speakers to set up as stereo and now all I’m getting is the wheel of doom.Can anyone help because it’s really frustrating. 

Almost exactly 2 years to the day after our Sonos Roam started making the ultra loud hammering noise and diagnostics were submitted it did so again this morning - scaring the bejesus out of us. So I come here looking for solutions and find many closed complaints mentioning “horrible”, “jackhammer”, “hammering”, “blaring”, “machine gun”. Evidently this occurrence, while rare, has been happening on at least Roams and Beams for at least two years with no fix yet.I’m curious how many others have had this and has it recurred for you, yet? Do you remember - while having your ears assaulted - to find and hold down the power button for more than 10 seconds to get the damn thing to shut up? Do you consider, as I did, hurling the device as far as you can out the door in disgust?

Hi all, I’m experiencing issues connecting my Audio Technica AT-LPW40WN turntable to era 300 speakers. When I connect the RCA to turntable and 3.5mm jack + line in jack to era 300, nothing shows up in the line in option on the Sonos app. Any suggestions?  

Buying a home with existing 5.1 surround speakers built in. How do I add them to an existing Sonos ecosystem?

My Sonos network is spontaneously playing music from Spotify. This happens at random times and on random speakers. For example this morning it was playing on all speakers:(clicking on a room indicates the Spotify user is “Guest”). The strange thing is no one in our house has a Spotify account or even the Spotify app on any device. The Sonos network does not have Spotify setup as a service. The only way I can see this might happen is if someone were to join the WiFi network and play music from Spotify directly to my Sonos devices.Our Sonos network is made up entirely of old gear connected by WiFi and we’re using the S1 app.This happened multiple times this week. It happened previously a while ago (many months).Other than someone joining the network and playing directly I can only make wild guesses that point the finger at Sonos’ internal systems?Any ideas on how to figure out what’s going on? Trying to avoid rebuilding my Sonos network; especially if this is something Sonos is intereste

I had an old but brand new Sonos Connect  and I’m trying to add it to my system. It won’t upgrade the software/it gets error 803. What should I do?

I had my music library on a Naim music server but that collapsed. I rescued the music on a USB drive, but now I need a NAS through which I can have Sonos access the music on the USB drive. Which NAS is easiest to configure for this purpose?

I just returned a pair of era 100s to costco. I bought them in December 2024 and was unable to pair them. They showed up in the app as Optimo1’s. yep. The box said Era 100, and the label on the bottom. The build quality seemed inferior to my Ones. Have no idea why they would only show as “Optimo 1” In the app, other than guessing that they were originally built as Optimo and then re-labeled for sale as Era100? Was super disappointed, and, glad the return was so easy. And I'm going to stay very happy with Ones. Anyone else experienced this?

I'm going to ignore the fact that as I write this, my music is happily playing from Spotify regardless of the fact that the Sonos app shows "No Content" for that group. WOW. Broken in so many ways.  Let's instead focus on the fact that I have a grouped set that no longer has an available volume slider for one of the speakers in the group. How do I control the balance between the two with no volume slider?!?!  

I have (3) Sonos Connect 1st Gen Wireless amps. (2) of them are side by side right next to my router. 1 of the 2 is constantly cutting in and out and it is the only one that does this. The other 2 performs perfectly. (Also, one of those amps are connected directly to my router.) I know it’s not the streaming service that I use because it cuts out not matter what streaming service I use. It could be interference, but there isn’t anything else around my router or the amps that it could be interfering with. Please help   

I’m playing via line out into an Era 100 grouped with a One SL. The speakers consistently fall out of sync or fail to remember being paired after pressing apply on the app. I’m playing vinyl records and every time I change side, I have to reset the speakers on the app. Nothing gets remembered and it’s completely frustrating. Any help appreciated! 

I have been using my Sonos system with my iPhone for a few years and it was very easy to send content via Airplay or through Home.app to my Sonos Speaker. But I recently switched to Android and now the only way to play content is via the Sonos app.How do I “cast” audio that’s playing from my Android phone to the Sonos system?

I have a system upstairs and another downstairs both connected to the same WiFi.new app now has arbitrarily separated the two systems and I must switch from one to the other, and can no longer have the same music playing everywhere.The mind boggles as SONOS in a dev team hole, keeps digging.I suspect there is no way out of yet another unasked for “improvement?”  Is there a way that someone knows, a workaround perhaps where I can control both from one source?  Prior to this, they were identified easily by how I named them.  Absolutely NO NEED whatsoever for this further bastardization of their app.  I see countless complaints but no response from SONOS.  Instead they ask their users to make their excuses.Ah….for the days of a simple amp with speakers.  

I do have multipe issues but all seem to be connected with my sonos soundbar not being visible in my system anymore. It was connected as a home cinema system with two sonos one and a sonos sub. The sonos ones also have gone missing, the sub shows not connected, unable to remove and reconnect everytime i tried. Unplugged the power cord already from all devices, did not help. Anyone an idea, what the issue is?

Happens randomly, I can be using the app, adding music, changing things and the suddenly I try to access the queue and I get the message 'Unable to access the queue.  Try again'. Doesn't matter what I do, unload app, restart mobile. It will not allow me to access the queue. I thought that after all the issues, this being one of the main parts of the app you need it would have been sorted.

I have two Play 3 (Gen 1) and two Play 1 (Gen 1) speakers.  I tried connecting everything at my new home in Medellin Colombia and the Play 1 speakers connected perfectly. The Play 3 speakers won’t. I tried the factory reset, ethernet connection to the modem, unplugging, everything….. Play 3s are simply NOT CONNECTING.  They worked perfectly at my home in Houston recently 

Open Sonos app on my Android Phone Navigate to and choose Music Library source Select Songs from the list of options Press Play or Shuffle Endless loading circle appears and nothing happens for at least 7 minutes, after which I stopped wasting my time waiting.Music is on my NAS, i can easily access and play specific songs, or select and play genres or my own playlists through the app.What gives? This wasn't an issue in the past. I understand the development team is attempting to fix this app but I didnt expect this functioanlity to be broken.
