Hello all,

The connection of the play 1 device with my Sonos system doesn't seem to work, even after a reboot.

The lights go from red to white, then orange and green.

I’d try wiring it directly to your router with an Ethernet cable, at least temporarily. It’s possible there has been a failure, although in the WiFi ‘card’, or the Ethernet ‘card’, we don’t know. If you can get it to show up in your controller, I would recommend that you submit a system diagnostic within 10 minutes of experiencing this problem, and call Sonos Support to discuss it. Don’t post the resulting diagnostic number here, they get sensitive about GDPR.

There may be information included in the diagnostic that will help Sonos pinpoint the issue and help you find a solution.

When you speak directly to the Support staff, they have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your network and Sonos system.

However, if it doesn’t show up, I’d still call Sonos Support directly to discuss it.

Hello Bruce

Thank you for the pieces of advice.

I've tried connecting directly with a cable to the router, doesn't work either.

So, I will contact Sonos support as you advise it.

Thanks a lot

Best regards
