Hello,I recently decided to digitalize my CD collection in FLAC, and replace the library of MP3s I had.I never experienced any problems with playing MP3s on my different Sonos devices, either directly from the Library, or with Plex inside Sonos app.Also sometimes I play from the Symfonium App (linked to the Plex library) and Cast on Sonos devices.My setups are:Main Room: ARC + 2 Era 300 + SubBedroom: IKEA SYMFONISK LampBathroom: Sonos 1But since I want to play FLACs i experienced different behaviour depending on the devices i want to play those files. I’ve made some tests with the same track: FLAC, 44,1khz, 16bit, 940kb/sHere are the Results: Bathroom (1 Sonos 1) :- Symfonium, File from Plex Library : OK, plays perfectly- Symfonium, File locally on phone: OK, plays perfectly- Symfonium, Jellyfin : OK, plays perfectly- Sonos app, Plex: OK, plays perfectly Bedroom (1 IKEA SYMFONISK Lamp) :- Symfonium, File from Plex Library : OK, plays perfectly- Symfonium, File locally on phone: OK, pla

Hi, I’m hoping somebody here can help me, as after one hour on the official help line they left me high & dry. My issue is that I cannot access my rooms on the app, I have 6 individual speakers in each room listed as Bedroom 1, bedroom 2 etc. So, what’s happened is that I have a grey area at the bottom of my screen where my room list is usually shown, and this is where I used to be able to group, alter rooms I want playing, by ‘Apply’ - the new App function. I’m at my wits end - I’ve deleted & re installed the App, my system is showing up in Settings correctly, there is nothing wrong with my Internet or Bluetooth connection, I still can’t access my rooms. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Seriously.  I can see my Sonos amp on my network.  I have reconfigured and added this amp to network a dozen times.  Time for a new brand I think. 

Am I the only one who has had enough of Sonos. Used the products for years but now I feel like it’s an expensive piece of junk that’s ruined my music playlist. Not reliable, constantly crashing etc.  Tried everything mentioned on forums and today I see an article that they have fixed 90% of the app, what a load of crap that is. 😂

How can I add my partners Apple and Amazon playlists to my Sonos account

I have Sonos S2 Desktop App for Windows 80.1 55014 installed, Apparently, 81.1 was introduced on Oct 29th. Sonos now will not let me update my local music library without first updating to the new software. The option to “Update Music Library Now” is simply greyed out (and so are other options such as “Music Library Settings”). This was always an issue as when I updated from 79.1 to 80.1 (which then precipitated the Error 913 problem).I spent ½ hour with Sonos Help Desk and the answer is too bad, you have no choice!Now at least with the Mobile App there is the choice not to download automatic updateSo questions:Does anyone know if you can update library without updating firmware? Does anyone have issues with the new firmware?Thanks 

My Sonos speakers keeps cutting out the last 5-10 seconds every few tracks.All the speakers are on ethernet (not on wifi) Every few tracks it cuts out the last 5-10 seconds The tracks seem to keep playing silently and when it reaches the end it starts playing the next track as expected All the tracks are stored on my local NAS (not using streaming services) It has only been happening for me over the past few days I have these speakers:     Play:1 (x4)  &  Play:One SL  (x2) Running the controller app on my mac laptop (Version 16.4.2) Router has been rebooted recentlyI finally thought I was back to a usable system now that the compilations error has been fixed. But now this has snuck in.      Is Sonos aware of this problem?Does anyone have a solution?

I am unable to make a playlist !I have made them in the past but now there does not seem to be a way to make them anyone else having this problem !

. My employer  was given the 2 speaker system with some music in the library. What is the process to add music to the library including platforms such as YouTube or Amazon music? We love the concept and as a preschool it is an asset.   Thank You for any feedback and clarity. 

Hello all, I have a small apartment. I purchased a pair of Era 100s, a Beam Gen2, and a mini sub. I want to use this in three configurations1. Beam only for TV watching2. Era100’s+Sub only for music and line-in3. Beam+Era100s+Sub mini for movie night. I cannot find a way to do this and was told locally it’s not possible without setting up for movie night (3.) when the time comes then re-building things back to separate again via app for config (1.) and (2.)  A lengthy un-elegant process. Seams a simple grouping preset scheme in the app could solve this issue. Is this really not possible or a feature request?

The window/screen that shows the current track playing (see below) is getting totally stuck on my Pixel 7 phone. It doesn't advance to the next track, just gets stuck on the first. The speakers (ERA 300 pair) play back okay. I'm not getting the same issue on my two Oppo phones, it's just the Pixel phone that's affected. Have tried uninstalling/reinstalling app etc but no luck. This is the screen I'm referring to: 

Sonos ray connection to amazon prime plays random artist and track.

I’ve just noticed that, after updating my Music Library, nearly all of the artists who start with a ‘The’ in their artist meta data are imported in to the Sonos Music Library with the ‘The’ chopped off. Guessing this isn’t intentional, why would it be? For example ‘The Cure’ still has it’s artist meta data as ‘The Cure’ but in the Music Library it’s under ‘Cure’. So the albums don’t show up if you search for ‘The Cure’Is there a way of raising bugs?

Just want to play some music using my SirusXM account on Sonos.  This was working last week, but today, no matter which channel I pick, I get the “Something went wrong.”  All my channels work fine directly from my SiriusXM app, so this is Sonos’ issue, not mine or SiriusXM’s.No, I will not reauth my account, as so many others have done.  Why should I have to reauth my account when this happens, WHEN NOTHING HAS CHANGED AND THIS WAS WORKING FINE LAST WEEK?  Good lord I’m angry, this is such utter incompentence.  This is the only function I have left that worked with some consistency after the May update, and now it’s just as unreliable.When I have to spend more time trying to fix your **** app then playing music, something is seriously wrong.  I have barely used my controller/systems since the horrible May update that showed us how seriously Sonos takes quality, and today just confirms my decision to sell off most of my units (I have two left).  And I STILL cannot add my iTunes library,

Hi. I own a Sonos Arc, Beam, and 2 Sub Minis. All were purchased recently and working fine until all of a sudden the IOS app continually asks for owner log in and I am the owner! Also if I click on System it says no products registered. Everything is on the same network with the same email address and password. I have tried deleting and reinstalling the app all to no avail. I have tried logging in on Sonos .com on my Mac and still  no products registered. It seems that the Sonos app is not available with the Mac OS so I am unable to try that option. I have reset and the Sonos app on my iPhone which is running the latest software update. I have Signed in and out many times and deleted and reinstalled the app. I understand there was a recent update to the app which has caused a similar problem to lots of frustrated owners...including me! Are Sonos going to fix this problem? My two Sonos systems will still play Apple Music and audio from my two TV’s but I am unable to access any of them o

My Sonos S2 PC firmware is again not allowing me to update my local music library unless I update from what I have currently, 80.1--55014, to the aforementioned new version. This is what I don’t understand -- why is Sonos forcing something new on us when they don’t even know if it is working? 80.1 is also called 16.3.1? What is this new trojan horse called?I have been burned way too many times. Has anyone been brave enough to try this new version yet? What is intending to fix? I wonder what is the price to pay in terms of new bugs? There are some half-baked release notes on apps for mobile apps for iOS and Android but I can’t find anything on this new version for PC. As a matter of fact, I couldn’t even identify what I would be downloading unless I check out what is in the download sub-directory!! Thanks

Well, the app update a few days ago had a note stating the music library indexing issue, where one album appeared multiple times, had been fixed.  Installed the update....still see a single album multiple times.  Odd thing is that for some of the albums that were doing it prior this update they are now showing as a single album, while some are still showing as multiple albums. SMH.

I am constantly unable to play back any FLAC files from my Plex server. However, I am able to play the same files if I go through my Media Library.However, with the recent beta earlier this year, I was able to have this playback functionality.The error message that I’m seeing in the error log is:Thursday, 9 May 2024 - 19:26 Atlantic TimeUnable to play '(Song Name Goes Here)' - the connection to Plex was lost.This error message repeats for any FLAC track that I try to play.I am able to play these files perfectly fine via the Plex application itself.

My iMac Apple Music will not connect to my Sonos speakers by Airplay. I repeatedly get ‘Could not connect to “Workroom”’ (where my paired stereo Era 100s are) and ‘Could not connect to “Living Room”’ (where my paired stereo Era 300s are). Another pop-up window says, ‘The AirPlay device “Workroom” cannot be selected for audio output. Please verify your network settings and AirPlay configuration or select another device.’ This was not the case before I updated the Mac Sonos app to the latest version (16.4.2, build 81158074). Previously to the update I could play Apple Music without a problem to both pairs of speakers. Obviously I have checked the network settings for both Mac and speakers. They are all on the same network. I have restarted the Mac and speakers. I have unplugged the speakers and restarted in factory default. Nothing seems to help. I can play Apple Music from my iPhone and iPad to the Sonos speakers via Airplay but not the iMac. The issue is only on the iMac. I can connect

Are there any plans to ever fix this issue with Mytuner or Tunedin radio. Alternatively can  you not add this to the Sonos Radio. This is very poor customer services that this has not been fixed. Regards,  

As the title says. Whenever I add an album that is on my Plex server to Sonos favourites it adds just the first track. Both Spotify and Tidal add the album correctly. I've tried a few different albums with the same result. Any thoughts?
