I've created a YouTube music playlist that has all of my uploaded music. However, the sonos app on Android is only allowing a max of 500 songs in the queue. Or at least that's all it is showing.Is this issue being resolved?I wish they'd go back to playing from device as an option. I know, it was supposedly too much to keep up with security updates.

Hours and hours…..spent (enjoyably) creating playlists. Where are they? How do I access them now? Thanks

Two part question and appreciate any help.  I recently upgraded my Synology NAS and my S1 speakers/software can no longer access the music library on this device. My S(2) has no issues. I’ve tried changing the settings of SMB1 protocol (minimum) and also enable NTLMv1 authentication. This has not worked. Are there any other settings I should be looking at to get this to work?Also, I was told I’d be contacted by Level 2 help about a week ago. No word yet. Does this ever happen or should I consider that they are done helping me with the issue?Thank you

I’ve recently been trialling Plex / Plexamp and thought I’d offer a short appraisal of how it can bring an enhanced experience to those of us with local music libraries.Plex can be added to Sonos as a service in the usual way. You can play your Plex music library through Sonos without paying for a Plex Pass subscription. This is basic functionality and offers an alternative way of playing your local files. It does require internet access as the files are being access through Plex’s servers, and your media server needs to be online. Some people do this to overcome the Sonos metadata constraint (typically referred to as the 65K track limit, even if that’s not 100% accurate).Plex Media Server can be installed on all sorts of hardware and operating systems. I am using a HP ProDesk 400 G4 SFF PC. It uses too much power to be a long-term solution for 24x7 operation (it idles at around 50W), but perfect for testing. Any idea how I remove inactive speakers from app. Most normal companies have a delete button. Not sonos. They have to make it very difficult.

I have 2 Sonos Play 3 speakers in my study which work perfectly using my PC. I also have a Sonos One in my kitchen. I can operate the latter without a problem from my PC but this is upstairs. When I try to operate it in the kitchen using the Sonos app on either my Samsung tablet or my wife’s iPad, only about a third of the Spotify playlists are disp[ayed.

Issue: I am playing music from Plex via the Sonos app (using both Android and Windows). During the daytime, this works fine most of the time with no issue whatsoever. However, pausing the queue at night and then resuming the queue in the morning causes the following problems.When music is resumed in the morning, it plays just two songs (three if they are short tracks), and then stops playback mid queue. Restarting the queue works, but it again only plays two songs before stopping. If the queue is deleted and new music selected, the new queue is affected by the same issue. Only after unplugging every speaker and restarting the system does the issue resolve.This does not (normally) happen when pausing the queue and resuming during the daytime, even if many hours have passed.Can anyone help me identify what might be a cause of this issue?I have 2 Play 5s as a stereo pair, 2 Play 1s as a stereo pair and a single Play 1. Hi, I just got 80.11.32 on Android and found a weird / buggy behavior. I was particularly excited about this item in the release notes:Improved performance when browsing content in Home and in Browse on AndroidWhat I found is the opposite. When I change from another app to Sonos it now refreshes everything and takes some time to load back. When I am on Now Playing if I switch to another app and come back to Sonos, then the screen is refreshed with a black Playback Activity screen, then it changes to Your System, showing all my speakers, and then it updates with my system name. I doesn't come back to Now Playing and I need to click on the speaker I was listening to.Frustrating, specially after today's Nick Millington update posted by @Marco.B 

I’ve had Sonos devices for years now. Generally, they have been pretty good, but since the S2 app was launched, it has been a truly awful experience. I see lots of complaints about the app, so it isn’t just me.Are we going to see improvements or is it time to sell my kit and find something better?

Is the ability to edit the queue, adding or deleting tracks coming back?

I had heard that with iOS 18 there would be some changes in Airplay which allows you to stream Dolby Atmos (spatial audio) music directly from the Apple Music app to third party speakers like the Sonos Arc.  Doesn’t seem to be the case right now even with yesterday’s release of 18.1.  Anyone heard anything?  I’d like to use the Music app with my Sonos system but don’t want to lose the Dolby Atmos.

I can’t get sonos to recognize my music library on my MAC.  I don’t subscribe to Apple Music but my library is fully visible.  I am running all the latest software including OSx Sequoia 15.0.  Sonos keeps giving an error message that it could not access the library.  Is this still an ongoing Sonos issue or is it something on my end?

Hi,I need to install the S1 OS back on the connect:amp because it doesn't work on the S2. How do I get it done? I Couldn't find the functions were looking for in the S1 IOS app? Sonos instructions do not match in IOS S1 app.

I am no longer able to play multiple songs from Apple Music. It only plays one song at a time. I have thousands of songs in my Apple Music library and they used to play at a random setting. Now I can only hear 1 song and it ends and I have to manually go into my phone to choose another song 

One of my favorite live stations frequently develops an annoying echo sound effect. Restarting doesn't fix it.  When it happens it's on all my speakers throughout the house - singles and stereo pairs. Is anyone else experiencing this?

I have been running Sonos from my Mac using the downloaded App. It’s no longer available in the App store which now states that “This app is available only on the App Store for iPhone and iPad” - anyone else experiencing this? Was this planned? Wondering if is coming back at any point :( 

I’m trying to update Controller on my Windows 11 machine, which normally is not an issue, but today I’m receiving the error "The Sonos controller installer failed to download".  I’ve tried rebooting but no difference. I have 90 GB free on the hard drive. Any suggestions? Thanks

Prior to the May Sonos app update, in Sonos Radio podcasts had a forward and reverse option of  around 10-30 seconds to skip ahead or skip back.  This option was great if I wanted to re-listen to something in the podcast that I missed or wanted to hear again for clarification.  Now the only option is to skip to the beginning or end of the podcast or trying to go back 10 seconds by scrolling with the play bar which is difficult to be accurate by more than a few minutes.  Does anyone know if Sonos plans to bring back the 10 - 30 second skip forward and back in future updates or am I stuck with trying to scroll back with the the play bar?  Thanks all

Does anyone have the same problem when changing source inputs that the devices the system connects too seem to randomly change, along with the volumes. Any idea how to make some default settings to different sources? 

Sonos has to be the most difficult system I have ever used to set up. I am trying to reset my system and it’s not finding anything. I have reset play 1 and Bar but not getting anywhere. I am very close to selling and buying Samsung. Customer services have kept me waiting 30 minutes so far. Charge a fortune and absolutely useless! Not a happy customer at all. 

Hi,One of the main things I use the app for is to manage the grouping of speakers after I start playing music from Spotify, Plex or another source.The original app always switched to the music currently being played, and I could just add any additional speakers I want to it.It seems the new app does not recognize that music already is being played, and instead shows some irrelevant title when started.When I click the icon in the bottom/middle in the new app,I see all speakers and the correct music playing per speaker, but when I click to add speakers, instead of adding them to the music being played, the app starts playing the irrelevant music displayed when it starts.This is highly annoying and breaks possibly the most useful usecase for the app. It is mostly useless without the ability to manage speakers.Any ideas how to achieve the original behavior in terms of being able to add speakers to already running music?
