Sonos Radio not working properly
Hello,I've had to reset my speaker as radio stations weren't working. I've managed to get the speaker back up and running and it plays some radio stations from tune in and Sonos Radio but It won't play any foreign stations which it did do previously until today. What is the issue with it? Also tune in won't find every country under its locations where as before it did, any ideas why this is?Manythanks
Streaming from Tidal or Idagio app stopped working.
Hi, I’m using two streaming services: Tidal and Idagio. Since about a week I can’t stream from those apps to my Sonos anymore. In Tidal, my Sonos Connect’s and Beam don’t show up. In Idagio they do, but the music won’t play. From the Sonos app itself, I can play music from those services (e.g. by selecting from my albums).I tried rebooting modem, router and Sonos systems, but that did not work. I also tried removing the services from the Sonos app and adding them again. That also did not work.I have made a diagnosis with number 1474987482.
Recently played list
Our recently played list started to become unavailable on and off a couple weeks back, now it’s gone. We tried chatting with sonos support 🤪 which is missing in action, no reply from heir twitter team, 25 minutes wait to chat , i’m not even trying to call……...I know covid-19 is impacting everyone but it seems to be worst at sonos…..If anyone has an idea how to fix this we will appreciate it. Thanks!
Spotify - "Hide Song" not working
I’ve long been driven mad by the fact that the “Hide Song” flag in Spotify doesn’t seem to work - the hidden song will still recur endlessly in my Daily Mixes playlists.I discovered today that this only happens when I’m listening to Spotify through SONOS. If I listen just on my phone, the hidden song is duly skipped. So this is obviously a SONOS issue, or a least a Spotify/SONOS integration issue.Has anybody else had this issue? Is there a cure/workaround?
No Airplay option for Apple music
So until a few months ago I was able to connect to my sonos speaker on the Apple Music app and AirPlay straight to my speaker. No there’s no option on the airplay screen. I can play music from the sonos app but would prefer to be able to play from the apple music app like I originally was. Anyone know how to fix this?
The system says my Deezer details are invalid
I have just taken out a Deezer Hi Fi subscription. I have successfully set it up on a desktop app on my MacBook and my iPhone is also set up. But when I try to connect the Sonos app to the account it complains about the password being invalid. It obviously works on the other two device apps, s I know the password is correct. Is this an issue with Sonos or is it at the Deezer end? I can connect 13 devices with the account I have, so it isn’t an issue re the number of devices. Thanks.
Can’t play on Sonos from within Spotify
For some time now, I’m unable to play music on Sonos (in any room) from within the Spotify app.Spotify identifies the different rooms (2x Sonos One and 1x Sonos Amp) but upon selecting a room it waits and waits, looks like a song is playing, but no sound.If I open up the Sonos app, I can perfectly play the Spotify content in any room. I’ve tried reinstalling the apps, reconnecting the services, changing wifi channels on my router (Asus RT AX92U). Actually several months ago I even bought a new router, hoping it might help…Any suggestions? It used to work fine, cannot figure out what has changed the situation.Just realized something: when I try to play a personal playlist (like Daily Mix) from within the Sonos app, it fails: it skips song after song and sometimes a small popup ‘connection with spotify lost’... I can only play public lists, albums etc. Additional info: apps on IOS
YouTube Music Issues.
I successfully converted from Google Music to YouTube Music but I’ve noticed a couple things I can no longer do. I’m not sure if this is the fault of Sonos or YouTube Music but wanted to get them out there so someone can fix them:Can’t start a playlist based off an individual song. You can do this directly from the YouTube Music app so I know it’s possible - just not an option in the Sonos app Can give a thumbs up or down to a song from the Sonos app. This is a bigger issue than it might at first seem since it helps YouTube Music keep track of what you like and don’t like so the tailored playlists they create are more to your liking. They also keep track of every song you “like” as a separate playlist that I like to play sometimes.Anyone else fine other issues that used to be present in Google Music that Sonos can no longer do with YouTube Music?
Album art and artist missing in on this device.
Hey I have a number of dance compilation albums by global underground which are WAV files stored on my Huwawai P30. Using other media apps such as poweramp i see all the album art on my device, yet in the on this device section of Sonos i don't see any album art. OK this isn't a first world problem, but a really frustrating one, as i have to sift through all the different albums one by one to locate the one i want to play. when i select an album it opens the detail with artist and track list but again Minus the album art. Anyone have any ideas if i can get round this. Thanks in advance.
Youtube Music not playable
Since moving from Google Play Music to Youtube Music I cannot play Youtube Music.I have Youtube Music in my browse section of Sonos.When i click on > the only listed thing is my Playlists, there is no where to search for any sort of music or any other option. SImply I cant find anything except for playlistsWhen I open browse other apps eg Sonos Radio it opens up with multiple stations to choose from.Some things I have looked at Settings>Youtube Music>everything is switched onto green.Sonos>Settings>Youtube Music>Account gives me option to remove account, change name, reauthorise.Ideas

YT music through Sonos only shows liked songs when in library
YT music on app on my phone and computer pull up the whole library. But in the sonos S2 app version 12.1 will only diplay my liked songs under Youtube Music>Library>Songs>Songs. Tested that it is my liked songs by removing a few and adding different ones a couple of times and it is updating the library accordingly to that. YT music works correctly on my phone and computer through the YT music app but not in the S2 app. I would just cast from the YT app directly but that is not supported as it was in the google music app.
how to find path to setup music library
I have a new MacBook Pro, and my music has a different path. I also just got an iPhone 12. I don’t know how to get Sonos to see my Music Library; it keeps saying it can’t find the server. I have enabled file sharing. I don’t know how to enter the path manually since I don’t know what the syntax is to do so.
Sonos can't find my music library on multiple devices, never will. But my phone just might?
I’ve had a couple of Sonos speakers for 2 years. Have streamed from Spotify etc, but have never been able to play my music library. I can identify the folders etc, but when I try to play a library track, Sonos skips over it.The Sonos app is up to date. I have changed my router (and internet supplier, when I moved house) and completely replaced all devices (2 macbook airs, an HP desktop). None has ever worked, I’ve learned to live with it.BUT… recently, by accident, I managed to play an mp3 track stored on my Android (Samsung Galaxy) phone, from a Whattsapp folder. I’ve added other files to that folder, but doesn’t work. I’ve put files in the phone’s Music folder, as Sonos suggest. No joy.Any thoughts?Thanks
Why is the software so crap?
Sonos products work intermittently. I had given up on connecting to my imported itunes library then for a period of two weeks it worked, today it does not work again. The connection of my laptop to my home network has always been stable, the stupid software doesn't play the audio
Mixcloud skips tracks after 30-40 minutes
I play mixes on Mixcloud other peoples and my own and after 30 min or more it’ll skip to the next mix. This has been happening for a very long time but as I don’t use it much I’ve never bothered to report it. However now in lockdown so using it a lot now. Diagnostics number is: 612132602 can someone please help?
Apple music Playlists not appearing in search results as the did before
In the past few days I cannot get results when I search for an artist under Playlists. Ex: Peter Gabriel under Playlist used to give me results like “Peter Gabriel essentiels...” and many more now I get one result. Same is happening on iphone, ipad and windows.
