Controllers and Music services

Dear allGot a SONOS S2  System running version 14.19 running with differnet models. Like Play 1 and ONE SL, Arc, Sub Mini.Using Play 1 as alarm clock. Since the last 10 days the system Alarm chime plays instead of radio station. Seems it take to much time to conect to Tunein or sonos Radio.Workaround e.g alarma set to clock 7.10 → play CHime, alram 7.11 → plays radioOne Sonos One SL this does not happen, the alarm works normaly.  Only on Play one devices.Any ideas. Its is not a Networks or Firewall issue.I assume this is a software issue within the system. Creat disagnose 808257277 regards Adrian

My S1 app cannot see my Sonos system after upgrade to iOS 16. I have tried reinstalling the app and turning network permissions on and off, but no matter which of my units (mix of new and old) I try to connect, it doesn’t find them. I had similar issues 1-2 years ago when the app suddenly started working again - after an update to one thing or the other I guess. Also my Sonos Move have stopped appearing in the list of Airplay devices on my phone in other apps.

Sonos worked no problem until router password was changed.  I have followed all steps show in support threads several times but S1 app won’t find the bridge even when wired to the router with ethernet.  Please help!

Playing local files from my Android S10, there are the following problems.1. Playback stops mid-track every few minutes2. The Android S2 app displays a different track to the one the speakers are playing3. The tracks aren't listed (or played) in album orderAny suggestions how to fix it?(Also please accept this standard rant as a Sonos user for almost ten years that it's about time we could stream content directly from any phone app to the speakers like we can with headphones, and yes I know this is not how Sonos works. I wish I didn't have to wear headphones half the time.)

Every time I lose power or have issues and I have to reset cable model and wifi network sonos loses my system and it is frustrating and takes forever to get up an running. When I have to reset wifi network what are the exact steps need in order to get S1 app to recongize my system speakers.  I have 12 old legacy sonos speakers and it is such a pain in the ass.Tell me order: unplug all speakers wait 10 seconds, do i power down booster

Ever since connecting my plex server to my brother's Sonos account as a music source (May 2021) I always have the option of casting to my brother's speakers from my plex mobile apps and from the web interface at app.plex.tv I have tried removing all Sonos references from Authorized Devices in plex settings. My brother has removed my plex server music from his Sonos app. He's even gone so far as changing his Sonos password. Regardless, I am still able to cast music to his speakers. I have my own Sonos account and can play my plex server music on my Sonos products via the Sonos app. However, from my plex apps the only Sonos casting options I can see are my brother's speakers. I can have my plex server authorized as a data source on multiple Sonos accounts; both accounts can play plex content on their individual systems. However, in my case it seems Plex apps themselves can only cast to the system of a single Sonos account. I don't

I use an Android Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G.  I’ve noticed that if I pull up the Sonos app and start playing music, it will play on all my other Sonos speakers (12 in all) *except* the one that’s closest to my phone.  If I’m in my office, music will play everywhere except my office.  If I’m in my bathroom, music will play everywhere except my bathroom.  It takes up to a minute for the close-proximity speaker to kick in and start playing, and if I crank up the volume I can hear the music everywhere else in the house.  Am I the only one having this problem?  The music source is a central Plex server on my home network, not my phone.

I’ve had my Sono 5 for years and played my music library without issue for a while, however, the last year or so sometime the app (phone and desktop) tells me it can’t find my music library - in the past i’ve had to delete my existing and replace it but for the past 7 + months (i just gave up and started streaming Spotify) i’ve been unable to even add the folder - even when i’m using the desktop app (the comp. where my music folder lives) - it keeps saying it can’t find the computer I’ve tried changing my firewall & sharing settings as suggested on a Sonos article but it’s still not working I’m on a Mac running 10.14

I cannot get my Sonos Amp to connect to my new wifi with Verizon. It’s the new Verizon home internet gateway and has super good speed but Sonos will not connect and I am getting really annoyed. 

Watching FIFA football and would like to have some sort of mixer bar that would let me mix levels of TV football commentary ( when I think I need to) to the music my wife is listening on the home theatre hooked to the TV and then back again. Or is this feature out there just not understood by me? thanks

Hello. im trying to set up my system. It used to be under my exs account but I want my own. The app will only recognise his account and not mine details. I have a bridge and zone play zp90 please help I’m so new to this 

My wife and I want to control our SONOS system separately from each of our own SONOS accounts. When she attempts to log into SONOS, she is directed to log into my account and no option is given. How can she use her own music services to control our shared system?

A friend is visiting me for a couple weeks. He is a Sonos user. He only sees my music (Pandora, etc) on his Sonos app. How can he access his Pandora playlists, etc and play on my system.

I have my Sonos system which is generally pretty stable. Today I got the dreaded “connection to Spotify was lost” error. Diagnostic number is 591945114  The Connect I was using at the time is wired. 

Have a customers house where they want to use spotify app to play music on the Sonos. Issue is they select the Sonos Player from Spotify App, it connects, but when they play music nothing happens, no music, though spotify app shows it should be, when i look in the sonos app it shows no music selected. But if the zone is on already it will start playing. I have checked this behavior from my personal house and it definitely works at my house using the exact same procedure. I have created a new account, reset all players in the house and added them to the new account, disconnected all network devices in the house except for 2 sonos amps(Hardwired) and an access point for my phone to connect too. I have an android, also used an ipad and iphone, all behave the same way. With the iphones and ipads, I can airplay from the devices fine(pull down from upper right corner and select airplay) but not thru the spotify app, has the same issue from inside the spotify app. Any help would be awesome

I can add my music library, which is on an external USB drive without a problem. However, none of the contents of this library is imported to the Sonos S1 app--no selections are visible at all. I’ve tried removing and re-adding the library three times, turning file sharing on and off, choosing “update music library now,” giving Sonos S1 full disk access, all to no avail. How do I get the tracks to load and index into the app? Using a MacStudio running Monterey.

I have a Sonos Amp and two Symfonisks and would like to use Tidal. In the Tidal app, I can see all devices when clicking on the Cast button. When I select the speakers, the cast icon keeps blinking, but it never connects, even for minutes. The issue is the same with 4 different android devices in our household.Our network is a AVM Fritz! Mesh Wlan, but even with all devices in Sonosnet the problem persists. RegardsChris

Hi,I have a Sonos Amp and two Symfonisks and have been trying out various streaming services. Tidal and Qobuz are not in the list of services. I have tried it out with the Android app and with the Windows application.Deezer is available in the list and has been working without issues, but I have been using Tidal for a while and would like to stay with it. RegardsChris 

I am a long time Spotify user with the old Sonos Play:5.  Usually I stream to Sonos directly from Spotify app on the phone (although I can do it though the S1 controller as well).  I have been thinking of transitioning to Apple Music.  I used a free third party app to move around 8 playlists from Spotify to Apple Music, and then I created new playlists within Apple Music.  I added Apple Music to S1 as well.  I can see Apple Music playlists through the S1 app, but only those that transitioned from Spotify; I don’t see the ones I created from scratch within Apple Music.  I would appreciate some help. 

Trying to add iHeartRadio and I already have an account, but keep getting the error in the photo. Can’t seem to get it to work. I’ve removed the app restarted my speaker and hasn’t worked. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi. Just updated S2 (within Windows 10) to 14.19 and now all my Sonos Playlists have disappeared. Any ideas as to how I can get them to show again? (he says, hoping that the years spent building them hasn’t all been lost). The message that comes up is “No playlists have been added to your Sonos Playlists yet”. For clarity, I’m referencing playlists which I’ve built within Sonos, rather than importing in from my Apple Music platform.Cheers,Mike.
