Controllers and Music services

I know this question keeps coming up, but with no resolution. Lutron blames Sonos and Vice versa. There must have been a partnership at one time for Lutron to developed a product that can send commands to Sonos. Why can’t Sonos and Lutron work this out without just leaving dis-satisfied customers?  Please provide a solution rather than lip service of calling tech support. It is a complete waste of time.  we need playlists to be cleared when a new playlist is selected from the pico. Simple code change in the code that shakes hands with Lutron.

Had to reset the system, because the music kept stopping av skipping to the next song. After this, I get a notification telling me “to stop the service will disturb play notifications” (My translation). I have tried to uninstall the app, update and everything, but the notification keeps coming up everytime I play something. The only way to remove it is to not have notifications at all, but then I can’t play/pause and skip song without going into the app … Any ideas? 

I have 2no play1's and a sonos 1, using s2 app on andriod. I have a Spotify premium account.  How can I play different songs in different rooms? Any help gratefully received. 

connecting to sonos move for the first time. using the sonos app and it`s requesting a 8 digit PIN that should be found on the backside of my speaker but it´s nothing there. what should I do to process further?

Why does my Sonos on Windows closes when I close my laptop? I need Sonos Windows to stay open in order to use my iPhone/iPad as controllers for My Music. I can’t play anything from My Music until I go back into my laptop to open the Sonos App. This can be annoying.

With the new interface for Deezer it’s missing some of the features on the Main app the main one being most streamed albums. Is this something that’s likely to be brought back ? 

In the past few weeks the Sonos App on Android (Google Pixel 6) has started popping up ads on my mobile, but only when using Tunein as a music source.  Does anyone know if this can be blocked with a firewall like PfSense?

I think the title said it all.  I barely can get a signal for my CR200 remote and wonder if there’s some way of strengthen it.  Boost?  I have an Orbi mesh network and that does nothing which makes me think the signal for the remote comes from a Sonos component (not close enough) which makes me wonder about the Boost. Thanks in advance for any information you can give me.

Every time I perform an update to my Sonos equipment, my Fios reboots - has anyone else experienced this?

I have a USB drive with all my music plugged into my “always on” PC and set up my music library to point to this D drive.  It worked for months, but now continually gets Unable To Play ‘xxxx’.  The Share //DONSNUC/D does not exist.  Same whether I play from the Sonos S1 app on the PC or on the phone or iPad.  If I go to Windows Exporer and click the D drive, then albums and click on something, it plays just fine via the Windows media player.  This is only a Music Library issue.  If I choose a TuneIn radio station, it’s OK.  What to do?TIA   Don

I just started using Amazon Music Unlimited with my Sonos. No voice control, no Alexa etc. Start Amazon Music app Select Song Change output device to Sonos Music plays Cannot change volume within Amazon Music Go to Sonos app - volume changes Play using Spotify - no problems

I am on Mac Monterey 12.6.1 I am running the S2 app 14.19. Since updating to S2 my library does not update fully. Running into same issue on another Mac which runs Ventura. I have tried the suggestions. Not working, anything new to fix? Thank you.

I’m not sure if this is Bandcamp-specific or if it’s just a coincidence that it happens while I’m playing albums from Bandcamp. With some frequency, I will reach the end of a song and then...silence. If I try the controls, the app tells me it can’t connect to the system. I look for speakers and suddenly it doesn’t recognize any, or it will see one or two of them (never in the room I’m actually using). I haven’t noticed it happening when I’ve played things through Apple Music or Amazon Music, but that may just be coincidental. It’s frustrating to have all the speakers disappear when my wifi is still connected! (My router is set to do auto updates, so the firmware is up to date.) Any ideas what’s going on?

Had to dump several ipad 2 mini's on Friday as the old sonos s2 app no longer works and the new s2 app requires ios 14. Was this really necessary? Should be fines for this behaviour.

I have an old iPOD Touch, 8 GB, which I have used for streaming Christmas music for years.  Well, it’s that time again….I updated some music files on the iPOD, but when I tried to cast from the iPOD to one of my three Sonos devices, the cast setting on the iPOD would revert back from the Sonos device to the iPOD setting.I’m using the latest system, S2, vs: 14.19The last two years, this has worked just fine, but something has changed.  My iPOD sees the Sonos devices on the network.  I have 2 ea Amps, and one (1) Playbase.Has anyone else had recent trouble streaming from Apple products to Sonos?

Pretty much as title says

I moved from a different country and computer with my Sonos devices. Therefore I had to move my music folders to a different relative location.I deleted the old folders from my Music Library in Sonos. Then I added the new folder locations back in Sonos Music Library. Now I can see and use playlists on my MacBook app, but not on the iPhone.

Not fit for purpose the app rarely finds the speakers, lots of people having the same problem, look at the reviews on the Google play store. The old app worked fine.

Sonos unable to browse SiriusXM Canada on which I have an active subscription up to about 2 weeks ago Sonos would stream Sirius now NOT.  I have rebooted speakers and router.  I have signed out of SiriusXM and back in.  I have made sure SiriusXM account is active.   I have made sure I latest version of SiriusXM.  This IS a SONOS problem.

I’m trying to get my Recently Played list to populate and it keeps telling me to turn on data sharing. I’m happy to share my data - we’re all being tracked already anyway, right? - but no matter how many times I go to Data & Privacy > Additional usage data > Turn usage data sharing onThe option does not hold and immediately turns it off.When I then go to Data & Privacy > Use Personalization Services > and try to make this “Enabled” it does nothing and stays as “Disabled”. I’ve deleted and reinstalled the iOS app, signed out and back in, reset the entire system, and still can’t get this to work. Sonos, I’m begging you to take my data! How can I get this to work to unlock the Recently Played section and other features?

I’ve been on Sonos for about 5-6 years, mostly using Spotify. Six months ago I started Qobuz and recently every song I play is fine for up to 30 seconds then it skips to the next track. On every track I play.I’ve rebooted the router, unplugged my Sonos 5, and temporarily removed my Sonos Move. Nothing has worked. Can someone please help me?

I have a S1 system that stops playing music everyday around 4PM to 8Pm. How can I have that fixed? What am I missing?I have   2 Plays 5, 1 Play 3.I keep geting a message not able to connect to Sonos.
