I need to replace my NAS drive used to play my CD’s over my Sonos. Need a bit of expert advice on best makes/models compatible with Sonos? Thanks

HI All, I have been a sonos user for many years (like 7 years)  and have multiple Sonos devices thru out my home. I subscribe to both Pandora and Spotify, when I am controlling my Sonos thru my cell phone app I am able to repeat tracks, when I use my Ipad ( my designated device) for my Sonos system the Repeat / replay Icon on the Ipad is “grey” so it does not do anything. If someone can help me with this it would be most useful. Thank you Sean

I’m looking for some help.  I updated my Sonos system in April and lost the browse feature on the radio player app.  I contacted tech support then and got to the engineering department.  They assurred me that they would look into it and get back to me.  They still have not gotten back to me.So I contacted them again at the beginning of November and once again got to the engineering department and they assurred me they would get back to me.  And, once again no response.  I tried calling and leaving a message with them to return my call based on my case number.  Its been over a week again and still no call back.  HELP…I can not browse in my Sonos APP and therefore can not get any programming.  Any assistance would be greatly appricated.  

For a few versions, I have observed interruptions and slowness when refreshing the SONOS app. MMoreover, using the radio is just as painful (regular cutting of some radio stations with bonus advertising (Tune-in)!I previously used Deezer music streaming platform but I had to use another streaming platform because I had continuously sound cuts with Deezer on my 7 speakers... very very uncomfortable! After hearing many times that it was probably my Wi-Fi I specify that I am on ORBI Wi-Fi 6 with crazy speed, and I have SONOS Wi-Fi switch !So I find that the SONOS application is no longer of quality and is malfunctioning... yet I still love listening to SONOS sound!Dear SONOS developers can you take these findings into account? thank you

Hi,I am considering purchasing the Ultimate Immersive Set with Arc home theater system (Arc, Sub, 2x Era 300). Can I also use these speakers to play music from streaming or other sources without changing any connection to the Samsung TV?Thank you!Aaron

This has been happening for months. I’ve spoken to somebody from Sonos in the Philippines, and it was not satisfactory at all.my problem is that sometimes I am able to connect to my Sonos with my Sonos S2, and other times it will not connect. it is extremely intermittent. And I refused to unplug the router, the speakers, etc. again, and again. Need help on correcting this problem.

I’m currently having terrible trouble playing music stored on my NAS drive through my Sonos system. If I  go through the ‘Music Library’ via the app I get the screen no selections are available (see screen shot). However if I go through the NAS option on the Browse menu it lets me go right through to the songs on the albums that are stored on the NAS drive but then won’t allow me to play the song, I get the ‘An error occurred while adding tracks to the Queue (701)’ issue. What then makes it even stranger is that if I find that track in my Apple Music Library that is looking at the same NAS drive then it plays the track without an issue and allow me to airplay the track to my system without any problems i.e. skipping, jumping, missing tracks.I think I’ve tried all the resolutions posted on various posts on this site but still no joy so if anyone has any bright ideas I’d really appreciate it.

I have the items detailed in the title and while it works great with all my Sonos products, the Ikea app does not see my Era 100's. My Sonos app has no trouble with them. Is this a known issue? I've tried reinstalling the Ikea App and joining it to the hardware but it always fails to see the Era's only.

Had this problem quite a few times. When I'm doing an artist search nothing comes up, Sonos says try a different search. Well issue was in the search bar, click on the drop down left of search field, it probably says (mine shows: Amazon music- My music ) which if I change it to Amazon Music fixes the issue.

I was unable to find any mention of this in the forums, but my latest Sonos Mac controller (15.10) always shows ‘The queue is empty’ when playing music from my Music Library. The version on my iPad correctly lists all of the song titles in the queue. Not a major deal (I guess), but it prevents me from being able to clear the actual queue from the Mac controller. Is anybody else having this problem?

Hello,I’ve seen some complaints about this but I wasn’t sure who’s end it was on. It seems that Plex sees Sonos as requiring a very high bitrate and won’t play, even locally. Plex plays fine if you try another way to play it so why even have a Plex integration in Sonos?You can work around this by not setting an upload speed in Plex but that can have other consequences as music isn’t really the main concern of maxing out your upload speed. Will is already plans for this to be fixed? Is this on Plex or Sonos to resolve? 

Bonjour,Depuis ce midi je rencontre un problème:   - Je ne peux plus me connecter à mes produits SONOS (ONE SL et MOVE) depuis l’application SPOTIFY.   - Depuis l’application SONOS, SPOTIFY fonctionne sur les enceintes, mais pas l’inverse   - Dans l’application SPOTIFY (aussi bien PC qu’ANDROID) les produits SONOS apparaissent grisés et  il est marqué “lecture impossible pour l’instant” J’ai vidé le cache spotify, j’ai réinitialiser les enceintes sonos, j’ai débranché puis rebranché la BOX internet… Rien n’y fait, je peux plus me connecter à mes enceintes SONOS depuis SPOTIFY… Quelqu’un rencontre-t-il le même problème?Quelle solution pour remédier à ce problème? D’avance merci. Charles.

I searched this but all topics are years old and closed.  My system is S1 with a mix of components.  Frequently (usually!) when I open the S1 app on my phone, it comes up with Wifi isn’t connected, and sho’nuff the wifi icon is off.  If I go to settings, it hasn’t turned wifi off, just disconected from the network.  Usually giving it 30 seconds and the phone reconnects, and maybe things are fine.  This only happens with the Sonos app, not email, firefox or other network-using apps.  Why and what’s the solution?TIADon     Central VA

how to connect apple music to sonos

Hello, I’m attempting to remove Era 100 from my sonos account, however, there doens’t seem to be an option to remove the item(s).  I’ve attempted to “clear” my account but that hasn’t helped either.  Anyone have a solution? 

Hi,Situation at this point in time: L+R pair of Sonos Play-1’s, listening to Apple Music Sunday Morning playlist at volume level 1 (one), and it is TOO LOUD! I’ve played with the volume limit feature to control the slider to no result. Setting the limit to 10% gives me no audio at levels 1-9 and too loud at 10.  I’d like to control the level to all the way from whisper levels to as normal talking level. Currently the lower levels resolution is just not existing. Please Sonos, allow us to control the lower volumes better!Can this be a feature request please!?Regards,Erik Tamminga

Hi.My system software is still 15.1 and doesn"t update to 15.3. I have auto updates turned on and have checked manually. I have restarted my mobile (samsung s21+) with up to date software and switched off and on my router, but still no update available. Any other way to force the update?

Hello,I am trying to retune my system of Arc + 2x One SLs + Sub, after rearranging my room. But every time I run Trueplay, after the first test tone run, I get the “Speaker Problem” error message asking me to check WiFi network. All speakers are working fine and connected to the WiFi. I have rebooted them. Rebooted the router. Even updated the networking settings in the Sonos App. They are updated to the latest firmware. Using an iPhone 14 Pro Max to run the diagnostic. When I ran Trueplay the first time, I had no issues. Any ideas? 

I just got Apple Music and the « for you » channel is not working. It says to configure it in Apple Music which I have done, but this channel just not work which makes Apple Music mostly useless!I am properly connected to my Apple Music account on Sonos. 

After successfully using Amazon Music on Sonos for a long time my full Amazon music library is no longer being displayed. I am unable to browse artists or albums however playlists are fine.  I have had extensive discussions with Sonos and been through all the common fix processes like updating apps uninstalling/installing Sonos/Amazon apps, re booting router etc but the problem remains. Has anyone had this issue and found a solution?   

I’m having an issue where Sonos will not update the music index for my NAS unless I remove and re-add the path to the NAS.I Select System/Music Library/Update Music Index Now, and it throws an error upon scanning:“Music Files Not Available[NAS path] is no longer available.  The device where the music files are stored may not be powered on, or the path may have changed.  Go to Settings>System>Music Library Setup to check the path.”But the music files are all still there, and available (minus the ones that have been added recently).  They play back just fine.  So the device is available, and it’s powered on, and the path hasn’t changed.I can then force Sonos to re-index ONLY if I remove the path to the NAS from the Music Library Setup, and then re-add the path.  The EXACT same pathname.Can’t I just get it to re-index without having to go through all that every time I add new music?  Oh, the scheduled “Music Index Update Time” fun

I am using a 60 GB SanDisk Cruzer Glide stick containing 40 GB of music in my router as a NAS.  Sonos gives the error “unable to play (song name), unable to connect to RT-AX92U (my router)” when play or shuffle is clicked.  This eliminates a random half of my saved songs. If I use finder to locate a song, I can play anything. If I choose only one song at a time, all can be played.  This appears to be a problem with the building of the “all songs” queue.
