Hi all,Firstly, yes I am aware of the boost blue dot issue, I've read the thread and am similarly frustrated by the activity. What I would like to know is if anyone else is experiencing issue with their back button? Let me elaborate...I'm in the minority and use my system predominantly to stream locally stored music files. I view by folder (not artist or album) via the Android app because that is just how my brain is wired to function and up until the latest update I had no issues. However.…Since the new version dropped, whenever I press the back button to go back a folder level (my folders are organised into letters, then sub folders with artist-album), the list super-scrolls right to the top. It does this when backing out of a single album to the artist-album list, and also from the artist-album list to the list of letters. So, I have already posted something similar to this under the impression it was a glitch in the Android UI after update 15.1 but would now like to alter from “ranty” status to “requesty” status. Original thread can be seen here...Now, I firmly believe that this “feature” is a great idea poorly implemented. As someone who views their music library by folder, I can TOTALLY understand the desire to fast-scroll back to the top of a list. What I cannot understand, or even think that people would find at ALL useful is the “back” button performing dual functions. If I press “back”, I want to return to my previous position in the previous list and NOT auto-scroll to the top as well.Would it be so difficult to implement a toggle in settings that decides what function this button performs instead of deciding for us how we

Hi AllI have a Sonos Play 1 and use Musicbee as my music manager program. Certain tracks will not play directly from the Music Library or when in a Playlist and I think it has something to do with the format . The music tracks all came from iTunes if that makes any difference. Any help welcome. 

Out of nowhere, all of my speakers won’t connect.Nothing has changed, other than rebooting the router (which I do fairly regularly).All of the speakers show that they _are_ connected to the router (looking at the router dashboard), but “Let’s Fix It” keeps telling me to unplug/replug router, turn off/on all the speakers… all of which I’ve done but no change.Don’t know what else to try. FYI, this is all via WIFI.I have pair of Play 5’s, two stereo pair Moves, Beam 2, Sub and One’s for surrounds.

When I’m inside the Sonos App and browsing Apple Music playlists, sometimes randomly it begins to scroll towards the top at max speed. I can’t accurately reproduce it, but it happens alot. I’ve recorded a video of the issue: VideoIt happens at 0:07 - 1:05 - 2:04Anyone else experienced this?

I’m visiting my mom in Nashville for the holidays. I put in a sonos sound bar for her years ago. It’s wired to her router/modem. Trying to play some music, and sonos music search is terribly slow. Checked that she has latest version of the app for iPhone. Everything is up to date. Force restart. nothing improves what I would consider abysmal music search performance. Wifi clocks in at 475Mb/s down. 20 up, it’s not that.   Anyone else seen this? Spotify app returns results instantly by comparison.   

I recently upgraded my router with spectrum to their smart router 6e.Since the router change i keep losing connection to my speakers it will not show up in my app when i click on system.Seems like i have to reboot my router unplug all my speakers to get them all back. But i dont want to keep doing this.I have read some forums that people are having trouble with the new spectrum router and the sonos system.If this is true can you recommend a router that works best with Sonos 

Searching youtube music yields no results

Hey all, Recently purchased my first piece of Sonos kit (ERA 300) and absolutely loving the sound quality but i am having one issue that I am hoping the community can help with. When I play music from my Spotify iPhone app to the ERA 300 via Wi-Fi (good quality internet connection) it connects quickly however sometimes when I pause the music for 10 minutes or more the connection between Spotify and the speaker drops. Meaning I have to re connect my phone to the speaker device again. Does anyone know how I keep the connection active after pausing the music for a period of time or is there some default auto disconnect setting I may not be aware of ? I did read somewhere that my wi-fi could be automatically switching channels and causing the issue but im not sure... Any help would be appreciated.

Looked around for Pandora issues and can’t seem to find a recent post so asking about a problem which only just began showing up after the latest hardware update. We’ve been Sonos user for many many years without any of these issues before so you can imagine it’s frustrating.We have 4 Sonos 1’s and a Sonos port spread throughout the house and prior to the latest hardware update, all of them were able to play music from Pandora individually and as a group.However, something in the latest update which I did about a week ago, something has generated the following problems attempting to use PandoraI select a music station from Pandora from the S2 controller and the station I select blinks, as if I’ve selected it, but then nothing ever plays.   I select a station and it happens to play (maybe 1 out of 20 tries) and it will play for a short period of time through all devices but then it simply stops. Just bought several Sonos speakers for my home.  My entire family uses the apple eco system.  I keep getting the error that I can’t play song (from apple) due to an encoding error.  The advertisement said I could play my Apple Music through these speakers.  Saw all the responses, and personally, I don’t care who’s responsible for the failure.  Sonos collected my money and I just need the fix for this. If no fix I’m taking it all back to Costco on Friday and buying something that works with Apple.

My Sonos on my laptop will not display my music or Pandora stations. It says "Check for updates". I do that and installs some driver (or something) and then asks for my password. None of my Mac passwords work. My Sonos password didn't work. I tried these multiple times. Then I reset my Sonos password and that doesn't work. Is there a delay on that taking effect? If not, what else can I do? I simply want to play music.

Sonos controller fails to update and I'm let with a black screen after I updated software to Sonoma 14.11, I tried resetting the app but still no good.Anyone else had this issue ?

Compré la Play 5, para escuchar las canciones que a mi me gustan, las que tengo almacenadas en mi móvil. Al principio, no había ningún problema, las escuchaba y disfrutaba del sonido.Ahora no sé lo que ha ocurrido, que sólo puedo escuchar, las emisoras, Spotify, pero en ningún caso las que tengo en la memoria de mi móvil. Quisiera si es posible, encontrar la forma de poder volver a escuchar mis canciones. Hice un esfuerzo para comprar la Play 5, y ahora sólo me quedan las emisoras (que son muchas, pero no me interesan), o suscribirme a una plataforma musical de las reconocidas por Sonos que tampoco me interesan (al menos de manera principal). Recently discovered AI DJ in my car through iPhone app and loved it.  Came home and tried to play it on Sonos but it’s nowhere to be found on the Spotify app within Sonos...generally speaking have never liked how it looks so different.  Thoughts?  Solution?  Thank you!😊

Successfully ran Trueplay on my ipad several months ago.Recently rearranged sonos HT speakers and want to rerun Trueplay.The tool seems to have disappeared from my ipad — I assume from an update.Why? How can I reactivate it?Thx.

Hi  I recently moved in to a house with 4 old Sonos Play 1 speakers attached to the home. There’s 4 of them. The old owners also left a Sonos boost as there’s a considerable lag between controls and the Sonos Play 1s.  I’m trying to maximise the use of the Play 1s and reckon the best thing that they lack is an airplay feature [we all use Apple products in our home]  I’m wondering if I can give these Play1s some soft of a semblance of Airplay capabilities by purchasing a Sonos beam Gen½ then group it into 5 groups: A- Sonos Beam + Play1AB- Sonos Beam + Play 1 BC- Sonos Beam + Play 1 CD - Sonos Beam + Play 1DE- Sonos Beam  A-D will have the Sonos Beam muted. Then when I want to airplay say YouTube video I do it to A if I want Play1a to play it.  My questions are; Will this work? If I am air playing to group A, can someone use the Sonos Be

Hi.  Is anyone successfully running Sonos S2 with Mac Ventura OS and connecting to their own music library stored on their Mac book?Given the problems I’m having connecting & as Ventura is relatively new, I wonder if there isn’t yet a fix for this?I love the sound quality of our Sonos but my loyalty is fading fast.Thanks

I must be missing something obvious.  i have added all sorts of playlists, etc to “My Sonos,” but “My Sonos” does not appear in the iOS app. It’s on the desktop app, but not iOS. 

Hey guys, I produce playlists on Spotify for the use in Psychedelic Therapy and meditation groups, and the addition of silent tracks at certain times can really make the music around it more powerful, and allow the listeners to process. I have found silent tracks on Spotify, from various artists, with different lengths, and have added them to my playlists. The problem begins when I play the playlist through my era 100’s, the app is unable to play any of the silent tracks and just skips them. Why do you think this is and is there a solution?  I have 2 pairs of Era 100’s in the room, and the setup always works perfectly… except when it is tasked with playing a silent track.  Thoughts? Thanks, Mike

Hello all - S2 App IOS / Version 15.5 / Build 73042060The past few weeks, under SiriusXM, when I choose the “Live and Xtra Channels” option, I receive an error “Sorry, something went wrong.  Please try again”.  It will not load the channel line up.However, I can at times still pull up channels based on recent or favorites and play successfully.Thoughts on the issue and/or resolution?

I purchased a Sonos Move so I could listen to podcasts that are on the Patreon app, but the Sonos app does not offer Patreon as an option. Am I out of luck? If so, I’m going to return this item. 

Hi, I’ve just bought my first Sonos speaker (Sonos 5) so I’m fairly new to all this.If I connect my iPhone to a traditional Bluetooth speaker, any sound my phone makes will come out of the speaker.  This works well for me as I sometimes receive emails with MP3s as attachments and I can simply open them directly from the email and they will play.So far I have only set my Sonos speaker up to work with Spotify.  From within Spotify I click the green speaker icon and select ‘Kitchen’ and it worksMy question is, how can I play MP3’s attached to an email, that are opened directly from the email on my ipad or iPhone ?I obviously can’t simply upload to Spotify and play them from there.  I suspect I may need to save the MP3 somewhere first maybe (if so how/where) or perhaps connect to the 5 via a standard Bluetooth connection (if this is even possible?)?Any help is appreciated!  Thank you!
