Since the push of S2 last year, I’ve moved all my Play 1 speakers to the S2 app.  I also have a Connect:Amp that is only used in the summer-time in our pool shed, and my plan was to have it on S1 by itself.My issue is that my S1 setup seems to be confused, and still has all the Play 1 speakers on it, despite them being upgraded to the S2 OS, and successfully connected to the S2 App.  It also has the Connect:Amp on the S1 App, so it is a blend of old and new, which is my problem.  The Play 1 speakers show as errors in the S1 App, and the App itself says its need to do an upgrade before it will allow me to remove any speakers.  However, because the Connect:Amp is in the S1 App, the upgrade always fails with an Error 9.  So I can’t remove any speakers from the S1 App, and I can’t upgrade it to remove any speakers. I have no problems with my S2 App setup - it is running fine with the Play 1 speakers all connected properly.  The only issue I have is with my S1 App. Is there an easy way to w

(Several years ago I know this was not possible, but it seems like some people have successfully done this, so I’m hoping there’s a solution!)I have a Sonos One and a Beam, plus an Alexa Echo Show 8. I’ve installed the Sonos skill to my Alexa account so now I can say, “Alexa, play the Beatles in kitchen”, or whatever and that works. However, it only works for streaming services, not my local iTunes library.Next, I installed the My Media for Alexa server on my Mac and installed that skill in the Echo. I can now say, “Alexa, ask My Media to play [song from local library]” and that will work. However it will only play it on the Echo. (Saying, “Alexa, ask My Media to play [song from local library] in kitchen” doesn’t work - it just ignores the “in kitchen” part.)So, is there a solution to get me to the finish line where I can tell Alexa to play [artist/title/whatever] from my local library on my Sonos devices?

Can the Sonos Port take an analog input and stream it wirelessly to the Sonos Arc? If so, are there any special setup instructions? example: I do not own a tuner. I am running my audio from an analog source into the port. I would like the port to send the music wirelessly to the Sonos Arc.  Is this possible? Can it send to more than one Sonos Speaker?

I’m sure there’s a better way to technically title this question, but I’m not sure what it is… So if this has been answered before, I do apologize… I had no idea what to call it to properly search for it.I noticed today that some of the audio from certain songs (and it could be all songs, I don’t have the most sensitive ear for things to tell--3 years in a rock band will do that to you) is missing. I’m a proud new owner of a Sonos Move, an iPhone owner and am having questions syncing it with my original HomePod:1. I am able to have them sync together under the HomeKit app. I have them both under the same “room” in the app. But I have to manually toggle airplay 2 every single time to get them to play together. Is there an easier way to get this done (without having to go through the annoying steps to turn both of them at the same time?)2. Any hope of getting them to play a stereo pair yet or in the future?3. is it possible to get a subwoofer and have all 3 synced together?

i can play tidal on my sonos play 1 from sonos app but not from tidal app because it won't connect

I am using Amp to power 2 pairs of outdoor speakers. One pair will be located in the back of the house and the other in the Front. I will be connecting each pair to a single channel on the Amp. Is it safe to use the Balance control to essentially turn off the front speakers while using the back speakers or the other way around?

I have listened to radio stations of YLE in Finland ( under myTuner). Could do this 20th in the morning,but late in the afternoon  these stopped to work.  What has happened? Some other local stations as well as the Swedish radio work normally.

Bonjour, j'ai une barre de son Sonos Beam connectée en ARC à ma télé Samsung.J'ai ajouté pour le soir, des écouteurs bluetooth en périphérique de sortie de son, mais lorsque je choisis cette sortie, cela permute automatiquement sur la barre de son après 3 secondes. Il ne reste donc jamais sur les écouteurs, et se remet tout seul sur le son de la Sonos.Ce que j'ai déjà tenté : - désactiver "lecture automatique" depuis l'application sonos, pour la barre de son, mais ça ne change rien.Si quelqu'un a une idée ? merci 

As of today, I cannot use my Play 3 speakers with my Sonos S1 app, only my Play 5 gen 1 speaker. Previously, i.e. yesterday, I could combine all in party mode. Does anyone else have this problem? Has Sonos started prevening full functionality of theS1 app inorder to force customers to upgrade?

New to the Sonos game. Currently have a beam and 2x ones in a surround set up in my living room.  wondering if it is possible to play audio on just one of my ones in the set up individually? Or does it have to play in the full set up. 

Hi, I have a couple of Play 1 speakers, a play 3 and connect amp currency running version S1 as amp not upgradeable. This morning Radio 2 has stopped working, what are my options to get it going again?I have amazon alexa dot, and iPads. TIA

Is there a way to lock the volumes when grouping speakers so that they raise and lower proportionately?  I have several Sonos One’s throughout our house and I set them at different levels so that I can raise and lower them together proportionately, however, every time I open the app again for the day, they are all back to equal levels.  I have them balanced on purpose and I’d like to keep it that way. 

Hi,is there any cheaper alternative for hdfury arcana. I am using an old 2010 model sony tv which has an ARC port but unfortunately do not support dolby digital plus. My amazon fire tv stick which supports dolby digital plus hence i can enjoy atmos content on my sonos arc. Not in a position to spend money for a new tv hence looking for a cheaper option. Even an ARC output with dolby digital plus support is fine fo my requirements. Hdfury arcana is not locally available in New Zealand and its too expensive for me. Thanks in advance.

Play & pause buttons on individual rooms would be really useful when wanting to shut down various streams, rather than having to open each one.  (And global buttons at the top, for when leaving the house, for example)

Is this replacement easy for a consumer to do and how is it done? Thanks

I am a paid youtube music member, and own a SONOS lamp. I have been using SONOS with my youtube music, and it has been fine up until recently. Now when I got to my library I’m met with “Unable to browse music”. Please advise. 

I have a Sonos Port that I’m trying to control all of my speakers downstairs. I created a group called downstairs in the Alexa app and my Sonos Port shows up. However when I go to the Sonos App it doesn’t show up. When I tell Alexa to play music down stairs it says “Playing music on downstairs. Sorry I cannot play music on downstairs. Sorry something went wrong” and that’s it. I have already removed all products from Sonos and Alexa apps and also removed the Sonos skill from the Alexa app and then reconnected all of my devices and still nothing. In different rooms upstairs I have a few Sonos ones and they all work with the Alexa and show up in my Sonos App. Any thoughts on how I can get Alexa to control my port? Or could it be an issue with the port itself?

I’ve had an odd problem for just over a week now in that when I turn the LG 77CX on there’s a split second of sound from the Arc and then the volume immediately goes to “0” and the Arc volume has to be turned up again after which everything is fine. This happens virtually every time the TV is turned on, playing audio/music only, the Arc works fine. It’s definitely a problem with the Arc as unplugging the TV to Arc EARC cable and then turning the TV on works fine as audio reverts back to the TV internal speakers without the need to adjust the volume. I’ve had the Arc since release and not had this problem before, any helpful advice would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Hello the community I recently goes to Catalina and iTunes changed in MUSIC. Now I realise I can’t see any updates of my playlists. No new one are recognize by Sonos. It seems it’s an usual problem with Music but I realy need to have acces to those playlists. Someone of you had found any solution about this problem?PS/ My playlist doesn’t exceed 100 titles and I only have something like 20 or 30 playlists. Thank you very much.

I’ve had Sonos for many years and use it all the time.  I have a large system.  I would like to find a way to block the incessant messages to upgrade to the S2 system. I don’t want to spend the money on the new equipment, and I don’t want to run both S1 and S2 as separate systems.  Is there a way to block the messages?   They are annoying to say the least, and I’m not interested.
