Is this a common issue? I have a Sonos Arc connected to my Epson LS 300 projector by HDMI 2 ARC. I have an Apple TV in HDMI 1.  I have all the CEC buttons turned on in my Epson Projector. Everything works fine until I turn off the Epson projector and turn it back on. When I do that, the sound doesn’t work. I have to go into the Epson menu settings and toggle the CEC switch off and then back on to get the sound to come back on. The volume buttons on my Apple TV and my Epson remote show a visible volume bar moving and the Sonos lights react as if they’re reading the signal, but no sound comes out unless I go in and toggle the CEC switch.    

Hey community, I recently bought a couple of SL One speakers and the Lip Sync is driving me mad whilst using Air Play 2, with my AppleTV 4K. I’ve looked online and can see it’s a known issue with a lot of others. Is this getting addressed?

Jeg kan godt se dem i stifinderen på min MacBook. Hvad skal jeg gøre for at se album covers i Sonos app'en, når jeg spiller musik fra min My Cloud Home disk?

When stereo paired as left and right surrounds, can Sonos Five speakers be horizontal? The description on the product site almost infers that they can only be vertical when paired, so I wanted to confirm.  Thanks. 

hello,i recently use sonos connect with 2 sonos one, i mainly use it with my macbookair connected in rca to the sonos connect (and after via amplifier with wired speakers).when i send music via itunes or internet on macbook with audio local source (RCA), each time, after few seconds, music stops, signal switched off, sonos connect starts blinking white (signal lost), and the local source entry no longer appears.When i use radios on app (sonos radio etc...) everything is ok, no lost signal. Is semeone can help me please ?I already changed channels, switch audio compress… Thanks,Benjamin

Sonos Support on Twitter seems to suggest that Arc supports streaming of TIDAL Atmos tracks; however, there is a curious inclusion of “when using a compatible TV” in their response.    Has anyone tried this yet or know if the music has to be streamed through the TV source first rather than directly from the Sonos or TIDAL apps to the Arc?   “... With S2, 24 bit audio is now supported for Music Library and NAS shares. Hello! One internet radio station I’m listening to recently switched to HTTPS and is not accessible through Sonos app anymore. Old URL which now redirects to the new streamhttp://pbb.laurentgarnier.com:8000/pbb128 New URLhttps://pbbradio.com:8443/pbb128 I’ve tried to add both URL manually but it won’t connect and there’s no error message at all. It works if trying through a browser, ITunes, VLC, Audacious or if I’m using Logitech Media Server to stream it to my Sonos Port. Any idea how to make it work again? Thanks,Christophe

sonos playbar plays fine but starts makes buzzing noise only when connected thru optical, since a couple of days.the moment that a signal is transmitted thru the optical cable, the Playbar starts to buzz.And the buzzing is different (pitch) when playing from the TV set top box then when streaming from netflix/youtube.the volume of the buzzing is controlled thru the volume control of the sonos app.

There should be a choice of voice assistant as now Alexa has been added as a main assistant my google product will not work with them????? Is there a by pass will Alexa be forced to work my google products when asked? Whole range of speakers have now just been made useless to others who cannot stand Alexa. I use both systems and find it annoying they wont work with each others products 

The list of Sonos speakers has suddenly disappeared from my iPhone so that I can no longer play direct from iPhone apps such as Spotify, Primephonic, Pocket Casts etc. although I can play exactly the same material if I use the Sonos App. What has gone wrong?

Hi how do I get move to connect to same ghz as the rest of the system? my move keeps either disappearing or showing as offline on the app. It’s connected to the internet ok, I just can’t control it via the app. apparently, according to support the move is on 5ghz with the rest of the system on 2.4ghz. That’s as much as I understand I’m afraid. thanks  

Yesterday and today I have had a number of drop-outs whilst listening to Sonos Radio - radio stops suddenly and then restarts after a few seconds. I have created diagnostic 1390421046Any help would be appreciated

I have been gifted Bang & Olufsen active speakers.  I want to connect them to my Sonos One but have no idea what kit I need to enable this.  I am not technically minded so be gentle with me!

Can someone please direct me to where I can find what the differences (spec / performance) are between the Gen 1 & 2 versions of the connect amp? I am looking to buy a couple of amps for some ceiling speakers (kitchen and dining room) - I’m hoping that connect amps will be sufficient. I’ve looked on line but can’t find what actually changed in the Gen 2. Thanks in advance. 

I currently have a Sonos Amp with two pairs of architectural speakers, two front and two rear basically left and right channel, connected to my TV via HDMI Arc cable.  Is it possible to add the Sonos Beam to act as a center channel not connected to the Amp and connected to the TV?

For the past few days I cannot reliably connect to SiriusXM on any of the apps (Phone, iPad, Mac desktop).  When I browse for SiriusXM channels I get messages like “unable to connect..” This has happened in the past and then for some reason it corrects itself days later. Why?

I am trying to set up my beam on a 2011 LG tv.  The tv manual says it's simplink supported but I can't actually select simplink (not an option).  This is the end of my knowledge of technology and need some help.  Can't I skip this?  I've selected the HDMI /arc but that's as far as I can go. Thanks!

Hi,Got a new Sonos Arc SL, complete with two One SL and a sub gen3. It is connected to Vizio tv e601i-a3 using the provided HDMI cable to the HDMI 1 slot in the tv, which is the only ARC slot available. In HDMI 2 I have a Fire TV cube. The problem, neither the Sonos app nor the tv recognize the CEC function. Initially, when it was fist setup everything worked and the tv recognized CEC. Now, when I try to discover CEC devices it does not discover the Sonos Arc nor the Amazon Cube, both CEC devices. At this point I'm leaning towards a problem with the TV, that is a bit old.FYI - Everything works… Sound and surround works, comes out in Dolby, but the app does not connect to the TV (below pic of error), nor the TV recognize the CEC function; it does not matter how many times I do it. I found a work around to set up the TV remote with the app, so I can control the soundbar volume with te remotes, but other CEC functions do not work. Again, in functionality you cannot spot the error, it just

Hi,I have just bought my second Sonos - Beam. First Sonos I have is One SL and it is located in bedroom (1st floor in detached house). Due to floors I have one router (utility room) and two access points - on each floor. All works fine, one WIFI.When I am on ground floor I only can see Beam (living room), when I go upstairs my system reload and I can see only One SL. I understand it is because of wifi from AP (when I am in living room, system can’t see One SL from bedroom - it is in the range of AP on 1st floor). It works fine, and relod is smooth but there is a problem with my wife’s iphone. She has Sonos S2 app too and it is signed to the same account (my account). The same mail and password. But we still can’t see Beam on her phone. In the same time I see it on my phone (and by account on web by laptop, both Sonons are online) and on her iphone there is still only One SL. Why? What can we do? System “can’t see” Beam when I try to add it by her phone. Of course we are for 100% in one

I’m trying to ascertain if I need a LAN wired connection to my ARC if using an a Sonos amp for my rear ceiling 8 ohm speakers?  My amp is in rack in comms room 10 metres away from my Arc and TV.  

I have a new Bose Smart Speaker that can use either Alexa or Google Assist. I am getting two Sonos soundbars and several speakers installed this Saturday. Can my Smart Speaker connect with the Sonos equipment I am getting?

Hi guys I’ve just upgraded my Sonos from the sound bar to the Sonos arc , I used to get Dolby digital with the sound bar using optical , but as I brought the Xbox series x they changed from optical to hdmi , now My tv Samsung is 7 years old but does have hdmi Arc not earc , anyway I’m plugging my arc into the hdmi arc port and my series x into an hdmi port , (I don’t have a hdmi 2.1port  ) but all I’m getting is PCM now and I can’t even change it to Dolby digital at all ?? Unfortunately I’m not a tv wiz at all , any help ? Also I seen on YouTube u can buy a device called fury cavana which can give u dolby atmos ? Any help appreciated  

Hello,I have a Beam and a Sub hooked up to a 2019 Samsung Q7DR.I actually have two questions. See below.ISSUE 1:When using the Spotify app from the TV’s menu, I can’t get Dolby Digital. PCM Is the only option.When I use the Xbox One’s Spotify app, I get Dolby Digital sound.Also, the DD sound works through other apps such as Netflix and Youtube. ISSUE 2:Often when I pause something or turn the TV off and then on, the Beam resets the volume to zero.I don’t think this is a consistent thing, but I’m not really sure. Thanks!

Hi there,      My New Sonos ARC is losing connection to my Samsung tv every time I turn off the tv, to reconnect i need to unplug the tv and replug then the ARC finds the connection again, nothing else I plug into the hdmi ports on the tv has this problem. Is this a known problem and is there an update or fix I can use.Thanks.
