Sonos roam - bluetooth loss of sound

Hi, all,

When connecting the Roam to a laptop or android phone via Bluetooth, the music makes small pauses every few seconds. I've also tried playing YouTube music on the phone and playing it via Bluetooth to the Roam and than connecting it to the Beam via WiFi, and the music still makes this small pauses.

I've tried forgeting the divice on the laptop, reseting the Roam and the problem still continues.

Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Have you tried forgetting all the other Bluetooth devices you have on your phone and laptop?

Read through this article too. It is about Bluetooth audio for the Move but it also applies to the Roam:

I forgot all of the devices on the phone and now the sound is perfect.

However, there is no improvemnt with the laptop. I've tried everything that you have suggested.

Do you have any other ideas?

I tried with a different laptop and it worked instantly. After researching all the specs of the Roam and the laptop it happened that both have different versions of bluetooth: roam - v5, laptop - v4.

Bluetooth v5 is backward compatible, but in this case it is the receiver where it doesn't really matter.
