Hi,I am considering buying a Sonos ARC however i have a query related to compatibility issues with this soundbar and my TV.I own a 2018 Panasonic OLED TX65FZ802B which has HDMI ARC only. However when i watch movies on Netflix, Disney + and Prime using my Amazon Fire Stick 4k, i notice that the information shows up on the TV for a few seconds that it is receiving Dolby Digital Plus (DD+) which from reading some articles on the net is a compressed version of Atmos. So essentially i’m looking for advice to confirm if the Sonos ARC would provide an Atmos audio signal using DD+ through this TV? info online is very scarce about this subject.Any advice would be much appreciated

My Sonos Move would not connect to my computer via Bluetooth. It worked previously. So I deleted the instance and tried to re-add without success. I would press the join button, Sonos Move would appear in my device list, I select, then I get error, “Unable to Connect”. So I moved to my Wi-Fi, no issues. So I thought my computer’s Bluetooth dongle was bad. I went to connect to my phone and that’s when I found the problem. Sonos Move was already connected to my phone. I disconnected from my phone, pressed the join button, and my PC connected to the Sonos Move again. Even though the Sonos Move stores up to six devices, it automatically connects to the first device it discovers.  I have a Bose Soundlink and it immediately announces which Bluetooth device I’m connected to. Is there a way for the Sonos Move to tell me which Bluetooth device it’s connected to? If not, is there a way to put in a features request?

I love Primephonic, but having an issue where if I pay anything which I have set as a favourite, I get a 402 error, but everything else from the site works perfectly!

Having purchased the new potable Roam speaker are there any plans to allow the Sonos app to work using cellular data when away from the home. 

My new Roam sound is perfect, but when on bluethooth from my Iphone, souds cut for 1 second every 3-4 minutes. My phone is close from the Sonos Roam. I do not have this issue on other bluetooth device. Any idea ?

Hi all!I have two Sonos speakers at home and we recently bought two speakers in the work office, which I duly set up. As I already had the Sonos app on my phone, I just linked the two office speakers to my personal account, which is fine when I’m at work (as the music usually runs off of my mac), but when I’m not in the office and someone else wants to use or download the sonos app, they would need my personal log in details.I have a Sonos account set up for the office, but I’m not sure how I go about moving just those two products to that account and off of my own personal account?

Thsse two points may be linked or may be separate issues. I already have two devices regisfered to me which are part of my regular network,. I have just bought a third device on ebay but two problems exist first it only seems to work when connected to an ethernet cable and second i cant seem to add it to my network and when digging into the settings it shows it is controlled by the original owners emailANY THOUGHTS PLEASE?        

With my Beam connected to my Sony Bravia A8 I have potentially 3 Google Assistant devices available to fulfill my requests. Which should I enable or disable (if any) and which gives me the most control over the TV (if any)given that the Sony is also an Android device with Google Assistant built in, the Beam is plugged directly into it using eARC/HDMI and has a direct connection for controlling it, and for good measure the Google mini in the kitchen can also hear my commands. Thanks for any advice you can give!

This is my second Boost, this one has disappeared from my system.Not getting the changing colour lights when trying to re-connect, just a plain white light.Do I just order a another one, or spend endless time dealing with Sonos support over this?I am using a Sonos Port which works properly when connected directly to my router?. 

Howdy,Confirmed that if casting from cell phone YouTube app to Sonos Home Theater group that Arc and both Gen 3 Subs work. However, after messing with settings in Windows 10 / Dolby Atmos for home theater, I am unable to produce any tones via the Gen 3 Subs when setup is RTX 3090 GPU / PC → LG CX → ARC via eARC.How do you get Windows to recognize the Gen 3 Subs?Any help would be appreciated!

I have happily enjoyed Sonos for many years but am currently experiencing a never ending series of issues with my system. Something is not right in my network. Symptoms are constantly disappearing rooms, network connection speed errors, playback skips and stops on streaming radio, Deezer (hifi), music library, etc.My system includes six players on SonosNet with a Connect to router via ethernet. Router is Netgear Orbi RB50 with two satellites. Service is gigabit with WiFi speedtests in the range of 375 mbps. WiFi is channel 1.  SonosNET channel 11. I have rebooted the system and brought devices back one at a time to try to get things stable. Changed channels. But nothing has  worked. I currently have a surround system with an Amp hooked up to two wired front speakers and two Ones as rear speakers (plus a Sub). I also have a turntable connected to the Amp. I am thinking of getting the Arc, but I am not sure how to set that all up - I understand that I can connect the Arc to the TV (via HDMI-ARC) to serve as the front channels (instead of my current wired pair), and the Amp can control the rear Ones, but I have also heard that the line-in is disabled when the Amp controls the rear speakers in a surround system. Is this true? Is there another way to set up a system with Ones + Arc + Amp + a turntable? Thanks!

Do the one sl speakers need to be placed behind where people are seating?  My room is limited I can place one speaker parallel about 2 feet from the speaker that is right next the couch.  The other speaker i would place 6 foot away and 4 foot in front of the couch.  Would this still work well in an Arc/sub/one sl surround confg?

I have a system that consists of an ARC + Sub + AMP surrounds.In order to reduce the amount of competition/traffic on my WiFi I am looking to move these devices over to Ethernet.  The first device with the necessary wiring is the AMP.  Once I Disable WiFi, the music will not play thru them.  They show up as part of the system.  Under “About My System” I can see that it is getting an IP Address.  It is part of the default VLAN and I can ping it from other devices on the same network.If I re-enable WiFi, they work fine as Surrounds.

I’m having some very annoying issues using my Samsung One Remote from a Samsung Frame 2020 TV with the Arc. It worked perfectly basically out of the box for the first 3 months and now all of a sudden the Samsung remote won’t change the volume for the Arc. When pressing the volume up or down it will still display the (HDMI-eArc) notification on the TV but no + or - signs and doesn’t adjust the volume. I’ve seen threads suggesting to go to the universal remote settings and add a new home theater device as Panasonic, that’s been hit or miss for me and when it does work it’s only been for about 24 hours then I’d have to set it up again. I’m just looking to get the remote working how it worked out of the box on day 1. The Arc is connected via HDMI to the eArc input on the Samsung Frame. Hopefully someone has some ideas. Thanks.

Do anyone know the lithium Jonbattery size in a Sonos Move. Traveling from Sweden by air. Is  it allowed to have the speaker in the hand luggage?

I have a new Samsung NEO 8k tv and connected a new Arc to it using the HDMI/Arc port. The audio works but is several milliseconds behind the video. I’ve noticed that I can use the Sonos software to delay the audio which, as expected, makes matters worse. The tv also seems to have a digital audio delay - a slider bar that defaults to 100. There is nothing available in the tv documentation saying what the 100 is or whether sliding it left or right increases the delay. I have tried moving the slider to both extremes and honestly saw no noticeable difference.  I have seen numerous articles about different audio formats that can be processed faster, but let’s face it, we pay a premium for the arc to get Dolby Atmos sound.  I also read an article suggesting different HDMI cables can make a difference  I will give that a try but not sure I am buying that one.Has anyone experienced this and can suggest a fix?  Thanks!

My setup is an Apple TV 4K 2021 version with an optima UHD50 4K projector, 2 homepods in stereo setup with Dolby atmos and wirelessly connecting to a sonos beam and sub via airplay 2.    On the previous gen Apple TV 4K I was able to use my stereo homepods as the default speakers and then select the sonos beam and sub through the Audio menu of the streaming content.  However the newest version creates issues whereby when I use the homepods as the default speakers it doesn’t allow me to add the sonos beam and sub like before.    I called sonos and they said it isn’t an issue on their end because when I select just the sonos beam and sub for the sound and remove the homepods the sound works.  I also contacted Apple support but they indicated that there might be a new kind of spatial sound update that may conflict with the sonos beam.     I have tried to connect the Apple TV to a hdmi splitter and use optical cable directly to the sonos beam but these splitters reduce the quality of the vi

Why can’t I go backwards using Flow  in Deezer in the Sonos Environment (App). If the function is available on Deezer why is not availble in the Sonos app? Can we get this fixed?

for the last few days, anytime I try to play any song from Spotify in my Sonos speaker, I get the error “unable to play {song title} - the connection to Spotify was lost”. I have seen other posts about this error message, but they seem to mostly either be attributed to a local network issue or a temporary outrage. I am fairly confident that this is not attributable to a local network issue, because the problem is consistent on Spotify but does not happen for other streaming services. It also does not seem to be a temporary outage since this has been going on for several days now.The issue is isolated to one of the two speakers in my Sonos system.What else could cause this? I’ve tried disconnecting and reconnecting the Shopify account to no avail, and don’t know what to try next.

Voice Services not working suddenly. Neither Alexa or Google assistant can connect to Sonos Ones. GA says “can’t connect” and Alexa show the speakers offline. I have tried absolutely EVERY troubleshooting step without success. Of course, Sonos support unavailable till Tuesday. Any thing I might be missing?Also…no microphone light on.

Hello,Does anyone know if the Sonos Beam uses the auto lip sync protocol over ARC. If i understand correctly, the protocol is only mandatory in HDMI 2.1/eARC, but companies can choose to support it over ARC if they want. I’m keen to know because I have some minor lip sync issues with my 2017 Apple TV 4K, LG B9 and Sonos Beam surround setup. If the Beam does use auto lip sync then im probably experiencing these problems because the Apple TV doesn't support the feature (apparently all devices in the chain need to support the feature for it to work). As such, I may upgrade to the new 2021 Apple TV 4K since that has HDMI 2.1 and im hoping there’ll finally be an unbroken chain that fully supports the HDMI automatic lip sync feature. Many thanks.

We have had the poor experience (many times) of grouping a room only to blast our ears out. Our Living Room has Bar/Sub/One/One and we connect it through our entertainment center.  There are various volume controls at play and sometimes the Sonos Volume in the Living Room is left fairly high. The next morning… we are playing music through a One in a different room and we decide to group the Living Room… with volume still high, music is Very loud and possibly damaging to a person sitting in there.   Questions:  Are there any settings that would reset volume to something like 10% on any newly grouped room?  Or even any settings that would allow volume limits based on Input?  Our entertainment center is generally quiet, our turntable (via Sonos Port) is really quiet, Music is REALLY LOUD. I have a sizable investment in Sonos speakers but I am finding it difficult to manage all the various volume levels across my 7 rooms.  It seems unreasonable that a user would need to visit every room an

Here’s my situation: I bought a house with three levels. On level two is the modem/router. On level one is the game room where the big TV sits, along with speaker wire that runs to speakers hard-wired on level two (the upper level). I have a well-functioning mesh network throughout the house.I had an installer come out and tell me I needed three sonos connect AMPS to run the speakers on the upper level. He also said he had to move my modem/router down to level one (the basement) to plug the amps into the modem/router. He said there was a lot of work involved with moving the modem/router downstairs and is wanting to charge me a lot in labor just to do that. He says the amps need to be plugged into the modem/router to work well - they won’t work well in a mesh network. Is that true?Question, is there a way to keep the modem/router on level two, without having to move it? 

Hi I have a sonos beam, sub, and 2 sonos 1 surround speakers in my cinema room.  I am just having my back garden renovated and what to set up a outdoor speaker in my pergola area. What is the best option and can I connect it to my indoor system.  Regards Ian
