I bought my Sonos to specifically play music from a NAS where I have stored all my CDs/music. The internet radio is a welcome bonus. This system has worked well for probably over two years and provides a great sound in the kitchen where I tend to spend much of my time. Suddenly the Sonos refuses to connect to the NAS. I’ve deleted the path using the app and attempted to reinstate it with no joy.My path:\\Server1\Public\MusicI’ve set my NAS to a fixed address  - no difference.I’ve tried using the NAS ip address - no differenceI’ve tried //ip address/public/music/SONOS was unable to add the music folderPlease check the path to the folder and the username and password if needed are correct.Reason: The computer Server1 is not responding.Sever1 responds to my laptop, my Raspberry Pi, my Mac Mini - I can play music from the server on all of these devices.This path works if I drop it into Chrome. I currently have my SONOS system using the Guest Account on my SYNOLOGY NAS and I would like to create a specific SONOS account with a password on the NAS. How do I change this my current NAS connection to use the new account  username and password? 

So I'm considering ditching my Sonos Sub. Without TruePlay it sounds like mud in my room (thank you Sonos for not facilitating TruePlay on Sub without a soundbar, more money down the drain).I'll probably get a high quality, 12 inch subwoofer and connect to the Amp's subwoofer out.If I do this, what kind of control will I have in the app as compared to Sonos Sub? Will I still have crossover setting? Sub volume? 

Hello guys, So I'm a bit perplexed. I've tried reading previous entries and discussions, yet still no luck. The YouTube Music integration is simply useless. It connects fine, but then show nothing other than the playlist "Liked songs", where I'm unable to play any of them because of "Access Denied". It works wonders with Spotify though. This whole Sonos ecosystem is suppose to be without any hassle. So can anyone tell me, what button i have to click, so actually use YouTube music on my Sonos Arc?? Sorry if I sound angry, but this really shouldn't be needed 

Hello all, I’m hoping someone here can help me out because I’m going insane in frustration. I’ll try to put in as much detail as possible but also try to keep it concise but I do tend to waffle, so fair warning.Alright so….. I own just the one Sonos device (play 3) and up till recently I haven’t had any problems with it. I had it setup so it was running wirelessly using the S1 controller (on a OnePlus 5t phone) and everything was fine. However, every time I went to use the S1 app I was bombarded with annoying pestering to download the new S2 app. I had put off downloading the S2 app as I read some very negative reviews and I had everything I needed in the S1 app. Eventually the constant annoyance of the S2 update prompts was too much and I caved and downloaded the app.Immediately after downloading and going through the setup of S2 app I couldn’t connect to my speakers and the frustration began. After going through all the troubleshooting options I decided it would probably just be easi

The Arc work perfectly as you would assume. The sub only works when I switch the Arc to wireless. I though I could have the Arc hardwired while having the sub wireless. No matter what I do, I cannot get this to work. At one point, It said the sub was connected to the Arc but it didn’t produce any sound. It had a white light. Again, if I switch both the Arc and Sub to wireless it works fine. Thanks

Hi All,Been a Sonos user for ages. Recently I’m getting a heck of a lot of drop outs, various components drop out and come back on line in 10-30s, or all drop out. Streaming services drop out, songs skip, overnight looping of white noice tracks randomly stops.Thinking it was some sort of wireless issue I recently moved to a wired setup with one of my play 1’s directly wired to my primary Google Wifi puck. I’m still getting these issues unfortunately.Anyone have any ideas or pointers or could I submit a technical report to someone at Sonos to take a look for any issues for me?Btw I mainly use Amazon and Calm for streaming services.TIA

On just a couple of my hundreds of albums, the track time that displays is longer than the actual length of the music. When it gets to the end of the actual music it starts playingagain part way through the track.Why?

The UK’s Planet Radio (ie the Bauer stations in the UK ) have been added as a new music service, currently in Preview mode.  The premium streams are listed, but don’t play, and there doesn’t seem to be any way to tell Sonos my account details anyway.  Is this going to be fixed soon?

I just bought an ARC for the the living room so I moved the Beam to our bedroom.The bedroom TV is a Samsung 43" Class TU7000 (un43tu7000fxza). The ARC port is labeled eARC and that's what it's plugged into, from what I understand that should work. My Beam is the only thing plugged into the it and it's the same cable that was working with my Sony TV in the living room.HDMI eARC mode is enabled along with Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC). I've hard power cycled both the beam and tv, both unplugged and plugged in, I've also factory reset the beam and that did not resolve the issue.I can mange the beam with the Sonos app and am able to play music on it, but when running the connection troubleshooter on the Sonos app it's telling me CEC is not connected.Any and all advice is appreciated, thank you!

I have mistakenly updated my Sonos 1 to Sonos 2 however none of my Sonos products are compatible. How do I undo the update and reset all my products?

I’ve just bought a Sonos arc to replace a Sonos Beam. Pretty underwhelmed as I’m find it hard to tell the difference between the Arc and the Beam. Is there any way to check if all the speakers on the arc are working?

Hi My Iphone 11 (software version 14.4.2) sonos S2 app continually shows ‘unable to connect to sonos lets fix it’, when I click to fix it and follow the instructions (power off speakers and then the wifi hub), eventually it connects, until the next time and then the same message.The system is less than a year old and includes a bean, 2 x one, one sl and sub.I’ve put the app on my laptop and it seems ok but keeps asking me to reauthorise apple music, which I do but still doesn’t show it.I have 180Mbs fibre internet on a BT smart Hub 2 wifiAny guidance appreciated, thanks

Currently have Beam with new TV. Want to get Roam for music and need to know if I can use Bluetooth between Roam and Beam (the audio push) when the TV/Beam is turned off.

Hello,I own a Sony 65XH9077 running Android TV, that’s hooked up to Sonos Arc.I have the strangest issue where I can never switch back to TV’s built in speakers, while the Arc is connected. If I change the output to TV, playback stops (e.g. Netflix, HBO Go, etc.), and the output gets switched back to the Sonos Arc after a couple of seconds.Any ideas how to fix this please? My current only solution is to phisically disocnnect the Arc or unplug it from mains.Why woudl I want to not use the Arc? That’s a different “issue” I’m kind of facing. The Arc, at the lowest volume (which on TV shows as 2, even though on TV speakers output I get increments of 1’s, with the Arc I get incremetns of 2), it’s still too loud to use durring the night. One solution was to use volume limiting in the S2 app for the Arc, but that’s just like trowing away half of it :)

Any help pleasei turn my tv off and it turns the arc off but then about 10 seconds later the arc starts playing the tv audio although the tv is still off, so u then have to tap the button on top to stop itanyone have this issue?

I have an arc and bonded amp surround speakers. Works well for movies but I would prefer to only have the amp surround speakers playing full music. I don’t like the way the arc sounds with music. Can Sonos please add an option to disable arc during music playback so the amp can be the only speakers for music? Otherwise the system works well with TV.

Can someone help my Roam won’t turn on. Orange light when plugged into charger but nothing happening. Only used it a couple of times too. 

We have 3 Sonos speakers in a holiday let apartment and up until now they have been working fine, however now the app is saying it needs to update as soon as you go on to it (no chance to do anything else). For the update to go ahead it is asking for login details, however we don’t recognise the email address it is asking for so we are assuming a previous guest added their details at some point. Does anyone know if there is any way around this as at the moment the speakers can’t be used?Many thanksLuke

I have 10 Sonos speakers and 6 Amazon Echoes in various rooms.  My main on e, in my living room, will playback a requested song on my Sonos system but none of the other Alexas will do so.  I have tried everything I can think of to get them all to playback over Sonos but have come up empty.  Anyone have a clue how to fix this, assuming it can happen?   Help me obi-Wan, you’re my only hope… 

The status LEDs are disturbing at night, or when watching a movie with  the Roam in front of a tablet. Especially the bright BT LED.Is it possible to switch them off?

Love my roam, but am noticing the occasional bluetooth hiccup, where I lose audio for a few seconds periodically. FWIW, the roam and my iphone are mere inches away, so it is not like I am too far away from the device.Has anyone else experienced this?

Hello, I have 2 Sonos Play 1 speakers which work perfectly on the Wifi. I’ve just bought a One SL and this one can’t be linked on the wifi. First it tries to connect, then ask me name of wifi + password but doesn’t work. On ethernet it’s ok however I couldn’t place it where I want. How can I fix this wifi issue? I already tried 10 times to reboot the One SL + the router…bestyann
