We’re new to the Sonos world and just installed the sonance outdoor 6 speaker / sub package that included the Sonos amp.  We’ve also got two Yamaha outdoor speakers mounted on our back porch and a surround sound receiver that is connected to our TV and ceiling speakers in our main room.  Trying to figure out the most efficient method to sync the two outdoor speakers on our patio and the surround sound system inside to the Sonos amp to create two additional “zones” to our existing sonance zone - any suggestions? It looks like I could get a Sonos port to sync one or both of those? Or would I need one port for each of those?

I currently have an Arc, a Sub and pair of One SLs, which sound great. I’m thinking of trying to connect my old Technics 1210s via an analogue Pioneer DJM-300 mixer (which should have the necessary pre-amps) and then a PORT.From what I’ve read, this sounds like it should work OK, and my primary purpose would just be for playing vinyl, but I’m wondering if it would be feasible to use this setup for actually mixing tracks. Would there be too much delay for that purpose?

I’m looking for some help with my Play:3 setup. I have 2 of them in my cafe and regularly each day they stop playing, the Sonos app on my pc reports it could not play or it is not encoded correctly. At the same time, my Wi-Fi drops completely and any other devices lose their connection as well.This has only happened since the Play:3 speakers were installed. When they are turned off the Wi-Fi remains active and stable.Can anyone advise me on what the problem is?Thanks in advance.

Greetings. Currently have older discontinued Sonos multiple room set up and looking to upgrade. All rooms have in wall speakers that came with house (not sonos speakers) and set up with older Sonos amps. is it better to get new Sonos amps (would need 4-5) and connect to existing in wall speakers or just get a bunch of Sonos wireless sound bars and speakers for rooms?4 of the rooms have tvs, other rooms/patio do not

I am receiving the “Unable to Browse Music” Spotify error that has been written about and previously resolved.  I have no issues with my other music services. Spotify results are returned when using the general Sonos app search feature (i.e. when I search for music using the magnifying glass) but when I attempt to use the Spotify app located within Sonos to search for music, I repeatedly receive “Unable to Browse Music” message (I can’t see any of my playlists etc.).  This issue started occurring very recently and is the same whether I am accessing Sonos from my iphone or Mac.  I have deleted and added the native Spotify app again (and again) on both my iphone and my computer - I also deleted/re-added Spotify within the “services” section of the Sonos app on both my phone and my computer.  Spoke to Sonos tech support who was - per the usual - super helpful and patient but after a ~60 minute call, the issue persists.  Suggestions?

I have an arc and would like to pair a speaker with it so a hearing impaired person can use it when watching tv. Can this be accomplished?

I have a decent size setup (~13 amp, 2 beam, 2 ARC, 2 playbar, 3 sub, 1 boost, assorted smaller older units) as well as Google Wifi. It's set up in "wired" mode - the boost is the only thing currently hardwired, the rest is on sonosnet (channel 6 currently). Most of the Amps are in a single room (powering speakers all over the house), along with the Boost. I have read plenty of horror stories of Google wifi and sonos causing spanning tree storms.  I have very occasional wifi problems, which may or may not be related.  However, I would like to endeavor to reduce wifi congestion, as I currently have 113 devices on my wifi network. I understand if I connect the amps that are all in the same room to the ethernet, but don’t disable wifi then they have the potential to cause some pretty complex spanning tree problems, but my question is this - if I use the "disable wifi" setting on my amps (and any other units that I hardwire), does sonos remove them from the spanning tree so the two spannin

I have a new Bluetooth record player amd would like to find a way to connect to SONOS One speakers....I have 3 of them already.Is it possible to use some converter like… Bluetooth Audio Adapter for Music Streaming Sound System, esinkin Wireless Audio Adapter Works with Smartphones and Tablets, Wireless Adapter for Speakers  

TuneIn will not connect to certain stations at certain times although I can connect to others stations without problems. In this case, these are the stations of Radio-Canada called ICI Musique and ICI Première. I listened to one of them (ICI Musique Montréal) around 12:00 today without problems. When I tried to resume listening 2 hours later, the “Tune In” jingle keeps repeating forever. I tried other ICI Musique stations directly from the TuneIn list but they all do the same. I get this problems regularly (every 2-3 days) and it has been like this for several months but it seems worse to the moment. If I listen to other stations or the music library for a while and come back, it might work again. I hope someone know how to fix this.

New BT router. Now no operating Windows S1 controller!All parts of the Sonos S1 system working, except the CR200 controllers, which now display the BBC Sounds and Qobuz Music Services, but cannot access either. S1 mobile apps working, but what a drag they are - sucking the life out of the battery and never with you when you need a controller!However, back to the Windows S1 Controller. It states it cannot see my (existing) system. I have tried all the suggestions: restarting the router, restarting the Bridge (I do not use WiFi to connect), uninstalling and re-installing the Windows Controller. On set up of the re-downloaded Controller, set up states the “app” is ready, however the Conroller continues to state it cannot see my system.Any advice gratefully received that does not include ditching the Controllers and solely using the mobile and iPad apps, or using WiFi to connect (it needs an ethernet cable to the nearest speaker, which being a Play 5 is not easy to situate to connect by ca

Hello everyone,  I just set up my Sonos Arc on a new samsung tv model and everything works fine, but the tv doesn't shows the volume level with numbers. Using the tv remote (ore the Sonos app) I can turn up and down the volume, but I can t see the level of the volume. Is there some setting that I missed? Thanks

Hello,I have tow Pay:1 units that were connected to Sonos 1 controller app. Then I moved to Sonos 2 app. Since that day one of my Play:1 is considered “not compatible”. Error 30 keeps popping… Is there any way that unit can be updated? I don’t really want to operate 2 Sonos with 2 apps as recommended by Sonos. Tks.

In looking at my profile there is a Playbar that should be removed.  It was sold with my house some time ago.  Is there a way to remove this item from my account?

First of all I have an Arcana in this loop. But everything was working fine until it quit working fine. So today I unplugged Sonos Arc HDMI cable from the TV and the Sonos Arc, unplugged power cables from the wall for the TV & the Sonos Arc. Waited like 5 minutes. Plugged the HDMI back into the Sony Arc port and then the Sonos Arc. Powered up the tv and the Sonos Arc. Sound from TV to Sonos ARC worked. Unplugged the Sonos Arc HDMI  from the Sony TV arc port and plugged it back into the Arcana. Went to the Sonos iPhone App, System, Arc + the surround sounds, including Sub, TV Setup, Let’s get your Sonos Arc SL connected to your TV, Connected cable to Sony Arc and sometimes it will go to the next screen but only to give me a failure something like not connected. I’m befuddled. Everything was working and now it’s not. 

Hi,bit of a strange problem with my Gen 1 Beam. I don’t see it in my TV inputs list and when I try to connect via the app I get this message - ‘HDMI Arc is not detected. Make sure the HDMI cable is connected to the ARC port and is turned on’. It was connected when I first set it up but dropped its connection. I’m using a good quality 2.1 HDMI cable and have tried another one but the problem persists. This is my second beam and the previous one had the same issue.  So, I’m left wondering if the HDMI ARC port is somehow broken on my TV. My TV is a 2018 LG OLED.  The other only thing I could think of is that the sonos app does drop it’s wifi connection a lot on my phone. But I can’t see that having anything to do with it? The beam and the surround sound speakers I’m using work as intended. I get dolby 5.1 from them, so that’s the main thing. I don’t even know what I’m missing by not having the TV connected via the app, but I’m interested in why it’s not working correctly.  Any ideas for w

Why does Sonos start with two-tone noise when I listen to radio channels

I am about to test if i am actually getting the right bandwith when streaming from Tidal. If not - no need to pay the extra bucks.But i can not find that information anywhere in controllers:I find the status page for the players: http://x.x.x.x:1400/statusBut no - I can not find that information here? Anyone?  

We have the PlayBar, Sub (gen 2) and two architectural ceiling speakers driven by Sonos Amp.  These makeup the living room.  Bedroom we have two Sonos One SL’s configured for stereo.  Wondering if we can move those One SL’s into the living room to potentially improve dialog when watching movies.  Our default movie streaming is Apple TV+ 4K connected through LG 55SK9000.   Have tried setting Apple TV+ audio format both to 5.1 and then Dolby Atmos.  Most movie dialog comes through muffled or low volume.  Cranking up to hear dialog then blasts us out with action scene audio.

I can't play music on my Sonos speakers directly from the Tidal app. However, I can play music from my Tidal account, but only via the Sonos app. I'd like to use the Tidal app to select music and have it play on the Sonos speakers. Is there away to do that? Thanks in advance. 

HiThe only non-Sonos speakers I have is a Bose SoundTouch 130 sound bar & Sub in my basement. Hi team,We have three Sonos speakers - a Sonos Beam (gen1), and two Sonos Play:1s.A few weeks ago the Sonos Play:1 speakers disappeared from our system, and I cannot get them to reconnect.When we try to factory reset them they show the error “Your play:1 has been added, but may not appear in the system tab. If so, unplug the power cord and plug it back in to finish setup of the system”.I have tried:Factory Reset (shows the error every time. after a restart won’t connect, and need to factory reset again) Changing our WIFI to separate 2.4ghz and 5ghz bands, and connecting all the sonos products to just the 2.4ghz band (doesn’t work, above error) Plugging in via ethernet (this works, but only whilst plugged in, and we can’t have our speakers there)I am at my wits end now, I can’t think of what’s gone wrong but for now these speakers might as well be broken.This error just keeps happening again and again:This is the error we keep getting 

I have 2 Move speakers , mainly for versatility of indoor and outdoor. When indoor, I’d like to get a bit more bass. Would getting 2 Fives to work with my 2 Moves be worthwhile to achieve this? Or would it not offer anything? Assume if all connected to WiFi they would work in synchrony?
