Hi Sonos Community!  I recently invested in Sonos and I am working to better understand how to delineate / carve out user access. Ultimately, my kids mess with each other’s Sonos speakers. I want to be able to control all of them.  Is there a way is isolate access?  Here is an example:Child 1 access Sonos 1 (bedroom 1) and Sonos 3 (kitchen) Child 2 access Sonos 2 (bedroom 2) and Sonos 3 (kitchen) Parent 1 access Sonos 1, Sonos 2, and Sonos 3 Currently, I have one account with all three devices and I have logged into each child’s mobile device with my account. I did this primarily because I on had one location that could accommodate direct connection to the internet (ethernet).  Could I solve this using the Sonos Network Extender?  Can this product create multiple Sonos Networks so that multiple Sonos devices can exist simultaneously?   I hope that my question makes sense. I am happy to add additional detail to clarify as needed.  Cheers and thanks in advance!  

I own two Sonos beams . Both connected to Samsung 7000 series Tv.  Both use Firesticks. Neither will work with Hdmi  and the Beam.  I have tried  earc on and off, different HDMI ports, CEC on and off,  different cables,  called support. No one knows why audio will not  work on the beam while using firestick. One firestick is the HD 4K and one is the new Max.  Sound works fine while directly connected Ted from internet to Tv and back to the beam , it’s only while playing through fire stick. HELP !  thanks ☺️  

Hi, I bought my full Arc set up from Sonos but would like to change my One sl rears to 5's for the rears and wanted to know if I can get a discount?

I recently purchased a Samsung 75" Class - QN85 Series - 4K UHD Neo QLED LCD TV and a Sonos ARC SL at Costco, set everything up as indicated. Sounded terrific. Really excited and pleased. When I switched the input source to the Apple TV 4K (the latest version of the Apple TV), everything was fine and audible, no issues. I could hear the clicking, the apps opening and such. When I went to watch a preview or trailer on Netflix, Apple TV, or other content providers through the Apple TV, still good, but when I went to play the actual content, such as a movie or an episode from a series, the sound cuts out and only works after I either unplug/plug the power cable from the Sonos ARC or jog the input or the play/pause, app in/out until the audio works. This has been an issue since I hooked up the system less than two months ago. Please provide guidance on a fix. I’m really frustrated and disappointed.

Anyone knows why Google Assistant stops talking in the middle of responses, before finishing them, on Sonos devices?And how I can solve it? 

Getting this error when playing from Mixcloud - unable to play From the Basement #166 (24 bit). The song is not encoded correctly Used to be able to play previously. Any idea what the issue is?

Hello I have had a Sonos Play 5 (gen 2) in the same location for well over a 1-2 years working fine. Its recently dropped off my network. I have found that it will connect to the sonos network via wifi if I move it directly next to a sonos Five only until I move it back to 1 room over. I have tried changing sonos net channels, and power cycling all the sonos devices in my home no impact. I have preformed a factory reset as well no change. I plugged it in via Ethernet for diagnosticDiagnostic report: 542547821   

Hello, I have tried all possible troubleshooting, but I have just updated my Sonos ecosystem to version 11.4 and now 3 of my units keep disappearing. i have managed to have the 3 back online, but they just disappeared again. I have never experienced it before, but just after updating units, it started to happen.it seems that after power down power up the router, solves temporarily. But I do have 2 units wired to the router and WM shows 0Please, I really need support 

I have just installed a Sky Glass TV and tried to connect to y Sonos Beam with 2 Play 1’s and a Sub. Having some issues with the Sky Glass remote controlling the volume etc. Any one else having similar issues? 

I have some PLAY:1s and last year added a One SL to my system; I use the S2 controller. My problem is that Spotify will not play anything on the older speakers unless I start it on the One SL (which plays fine) then pair to an older speaker. I also have to keep them paired otherwise spotify stops playing. It's very annoying and I wondered if anyone else had an issue.

Sign of the times… I’m considering powering down (off at the plug) my Sonos devices overnight to save some pennies. Would this be damaging to them at all? Connected devices sometimes don’t like having the plug pulled regularly. Any loss of settings, or wearing over time? Thanks,Matt

Hi, since i updated yesterday 26|4|2022 my SONOS, the italian radio called Radio DeeJay (Milano/Lombardia/Italia) is not working anymore. SONOS gets it from TuneIn, I tried on the TuneIn website and also there Radio DeeJay doesn't work...whilst both on Sonos and on TuneIn the other radios from the same city are working well… anyone can help?Thanks

Hello!I have noticed that Spotify music and volume in general from earc (LG GX) to my Sonos arc sub and one SL has nearly double the volume from just streaming directly from Spotify. (Surrounds are in ambient mode). This makes the loudness feature too pronounced as well and seems to exaggerating the bass even in moderate to high volumes. This affect movies and gaming as well. I try to keep loudness off when using the tv and on when streaming music directly from the app.Is the loudness correctly applied with tv in mind?I have checked that my TV doesn't have a setting to output more volume. Thanks in advance!

As of this week, I have not been able to access BBC radio stations on the Radioplayer service. When I look at the A-Z Station List, there are no BBC stations listed. They are listed on the Radioplayer website. Am I the only person with this problem? Is there any way to get the BBC stations back?I would switch to BBC Sounds, but it does not appear to be possible to add stations to “My Sonos” using the Android S1 phone app.

Hi, does anyone know the streaming URL to add a radio called RADIO DeeJay (Italian) manually into SONOS? The Radio doesn’t work anymore in SONOS since last update and i want to try to add it manually with the URLthank you

I see this same topic from a year ago, but no solution posted.  I use Alexa on a Sonos One to stream NPR through TuneIn.  It worked fine yesterday, but today, when I try it through Alexa, Alexa acknowledges the station (i.e. says something like “playing OPB through Tunein”) but then only silence. If I go through the Sonos app, I can get it to play just fine.  But then, I can’t get Alexa to stop it. On a related note, when I was able to get Alexa to play NPR, I could stop the playing by saying, “Alexa stop.”  But a week or so ago, this stopped working.  The only way I could get it to stop was to say “Alexa pause.” Anybody have any clues what’s going on here?

Having trouble with the surround speakers on my home theatre setup. Whenever I watch a movie with surround on apple TV the rear SL speakers keep stuttering making the movie unwatchable.Setup: Arc + 2 Gen2 Subs + 2 SL surrounds.TV is a 65” Samsung QN95A with audio set to passthrough1m Sandstrom Gold Series HDMI cable to HDMI3 (eArc) on TV.Apple tv is connected to HDMI2 with a 1m Sandstrom Gold series cable as well.Everything is connected to the local wifi network.When the movie title screen is displayed the music plays perfectly though the surrounds but when the movie is played the rear speakers stutter and pulse.Diagnostics Number: 290032232

I have several Sonos devices including two Sonos Move. I’ve had them for a while, and lately they have started acting wierd. Both Sonos Move (and only the Sonos Moves) suddently stops playing the music and starts with an buzzing sound. To fix this I need to start and stop the music, and then its ok for some time and then this repeats for some times.I looks like this happens in the beginning of turing on the music, and after stop/start a couple of times it works for a longer period.I have tried changing wifi channels, and ensure to only have one wifi network avalible.I have a mesh network and uses th 5Ghz net.

Hi,Now that BBC sounds is on Sonos, does anyone know how to change the Google Assistant default from TuneIn to BBC Sounds? My Google Home Mini uses BBC Sounds. There’s still some BBC stations that aren’t are on TuneIn like Radio 1 Relax and Radio 1 Dance

I have, somehow, created more music sources than I need. The image shows this. I only need the Music Library - that’s the one linked to my app. I need to get rid of BlustoNAS / Windows Media / Sonos Playlists. I can’t find a way to achieve this and would appreciate help please. Cheers all. 

Hi, was hoping someone could help me out. I’ve just purchased a Sonos Roam and have a few issues. My existing setup is only very basic with a google home and several google tv devices, all running on the same network. The Sonos Roam is my first Sonos purchase. Firstly I can’t install google voice control on the Roam. I follow the steps on the Sonos app to add a voice assistant, and when it opens the google assistant app to look for devices, it can’t see the Roam. After looking for devices it fails and says to ensure WiFi is on and that your iPhone and assistant devices are on the same network. WiFi is definitely on and everything is on the same network. Also, I can’t get the Google home to see the Roam and stream to it. When I open the Google home app the Roam is listed under devices along with my other google products, and says it is linked, but when I select media on the app the Roam isn’t listed. Any help would be much appreciated. 

Please, PLEASE sort the album search results by release date in Apple Music, like every other service, and like any sane feature would work. The current unorganized list of albums displayed for any particular artist is borderline unusable. You know this.I know this question has been asked before, but it’s been over SIX YEARS. I know it’s supposedly an Apple problem, but I just don’t buy it. Unless your engineering team is married to some REALLY obtuse implementation, this should be about 4 lines of code. If it’s NOT easy, please ask yourselves how sorting a list of results, a question you’d ask of any engineering intern in an interview, turned into an insurmountable issue that customers have had to beg for over a six year period.And if it’s really an Apple issue, tell us why, specifically, so we can go yell at them about it.But c’mon... Sort the stupid list already.
