Problem signing in to SiriusXM.  I was fine for years but changed password and user name to set up a new account with Sirius.  I was able to set up the Sirius App on our 2 iPhones using the same login name and password just fine.  But, I can’t get Sirius to log in on the Sonos Mac I’ve used for years?

Hi, I’ve got an Arc, two Sonos one and a sub connected in my home. Sometimes, when I want to listen to music with my child, I feel like the audio is a bit to much. Thus, I would like to be able to play music only using one of the Sonos ones (and perhaps the sub as well). But I can’t figure out how to set it up.   

I appreciate that I will not get official support, as I have successfully and reliably used TP-Link AV600s for a number of years.However, it would be useful to know if there is any special trick in using Draytek routers (in particular the 2766VAC) with Sonos, as so far I’m not having much luck at all. All of the symptoms (units not appearing and/or disappearing, inability to browse to the music, failure to load music into the queue etc) appear to be network related. I’ve tried all the usual things (full reboot, binding the IP addresses, multiple attempts following the prompts on the devices) but it still doesn’t work. I’ve twice switched back to the TP-Link router, and it all works perfectly again.I can’t find any setting on the Dray Tek that looks relevant, and have initiated a ticket via email to them, but I suspect that they’ll simply come back and say that - as everything else is working perfectly via the AV600s - that it’s a Sonos issue rather than a Dray Tek one. My family of Sonos speakers are connected on the home wifi and so is my NAS drive.  Streaming Apple Music plays fine but connecting my NAS drive is a nightmare - it is often not recognised and it randomly skips tracks when playing music stored on it.  I have checked - my NAS drive does not have bad sectors.  Any other person facing the same problem and is there a fix?  Would it help if i connected all speakers to an internet cable?  Thanks

I have a mutli-room setup and use a Beam to listen to music and for the TV.  When I switch between music and TV on the Beam I have to adjust the volume each time.  Is it possible to configure a default volume by input source?  If not, can it be added as a feature request?

Using a Sonos Roam speaker with Google set up, I cannot play music from music services.  If I set my default music provider to either YouTube, Spotify, or Apple Music, and then say 'okay google, play the Police' I get the following:"Okay playing the artist The Police on YouTube Music" "Sorry it looks like you haven't set up your account on that media service provider yet"But all my settings in Google Assistant look correct? Note: that I can ask for the time, I can also play music from TuneIn, something about the other services is busted?

Last night while watching the Peacock app, via Apple TV 4K (2021), I noticed the sound for the show was predominantly (maybe entirely) coming only from the 2 rear surrounds (symfonisks). I waited to see if this would change in the next scenes but it did not.(FYI, connected via eARC input and audio set to HDMI ARC - Passthrough, and additionally eArc selected on the TV. Have had no problems like this since my initial hook up over a year ago)But I decided to “re-connect to TV while on the Sonos Input of the TV. Came back to the app, and now the sounds does seem to be coming from the Arc, but now nothing is coming from the surround speakers. Although the App shows “PCM Multichannel 7.1” the sound is surely Stereo (or limited to the Arc).I tried multiple apps, and regular TV, but the situation is the same. Any advice?  The only other time I recall main dialogue coming from the 2 surrounds was during sequences of the Amazon Original “Lucy and Desi”. Hey there,   When a new update comes out and I update the system I typically lose 1-2 speakers that must be factory reset before I can add them again.It seems to happen only to speakers that have been renamed from the pulldown/menu options you are given when you first add a speaker. For example,  if I choose “bedroom” and edit the name of the speaker to “Master Bedroom” it has a chance of being dropped when an update comes out.Am I doing something wrong when renaming or updating speakers?I have one in the kitchen and garage that do not get dropped of the same model but kitchen and garage are options you can choose when adding a speaker.I did not see anything in the forum with a similar problem, or perhaps I used the wrong keywords.My planned next step is to have all speakers on a generic name and wait 3-4 months for some update to be applied and see what happens.  If there is something different I should do I am open to suggestions.Thanks in advance!

Almost every time a new song plays the sonos screen pop-ups.  I have to close it. IT IS DRIVING ME CRAZY!!  I tried to find resolution in the community. I am using a PC with Windows 11. 

just bought roam..i did the setup downloaded the app and connected to my phone via BT however even though it shows connected on my phone (apple 12pro)  and PC (macbook air) I don’t hear the sound from the Sonos Roam but i hear it from the phone and the PC as if it were not connected..Also I still don’t understand how wifi connectivity works if there is a tutorial i would appreciate it..

Frisky radio cuts out repeatedly regardless of wired/wifi connection.  In my experience, this has been an long term, ongoing issue with the Tunein radio service.  I do not know how to rectify this playback fault.  If anyone has any insight into a fix please advise. 

Wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue:I’ve had the same setup for over 3 years – for over 2 years I didn’t notice any issues, but for the last year or so I’ve been hearing strange sounds on 5.1 content, most noticeably when music is playing. It started around the time of the last firmware update on the TV (which can’t be downgraded), but the Beam may also have been updated around that time. The closest description I can think of is bubbles popping in water, like in a jacuzzi or a stream. It’s most noticeable during passages of sustained playing from strings & brass, and sort of pops away under the music.The exact clip I’ve been using to reproduce the issue is the Disney intro at the beginning of The Ice Ace Adventures of Buck Wild on Disney+ (identical to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qrE8Rr_9jhU except this YouTube clip is only stereo). The popping always starts as the strings start to build up around 6-7 seconds but then it gets more noticeable around the flourish

Hi allI was wondering if any other users have experienced issues since the new Play:1\Play:3 firmware was introduced?I was recently able to access my music and update the libraries without problem.  Since updating the firmware on my 2xPlay:1 and Play:3 system, I have been unable to update my music library which is held on a very old NAS drive (WD My Book Live).  Nothing has changed in terms of the NAS drive settings, and it is so old that there has not been a firmware update for several years. The only thing that has changed is the firmware update to the Sonos speakers. From a cause and effect perspective, the only change has been the Sonos firmware (SoftwareVersion 67.1-27100, SoftwareDate 2022-03-10 17:01:21.399337).The drive is viewable as normal via Windows Explorer and iTunes. Sonos support suggested it is an SMB issue, but it wouldn’t follow as it has worked before this firmware update. They have asked me to contract Western Digital to see if there is any way to change the SMB se

I’ve viewed many threads on this topic, we are using Sonos in our new brewery, we do a reset of our entire network twice a week, it is a must due to the amount of wireless traffic we supply/use for both us and our customers.  Our speakers are 20 feet in the air and plugged in the ceiling (old commercial building), so plugging/un-plugging is not an option.  Any other suggestions, we need help quickly as we open tomorrow.  Thanks, Don

This morning I noticed the desktop app on my PC is empty:  On my iPhone its fine, but for some reason today the desktop app is empty. The PC has just been rebooted and the problem remains.

Has anyone else noticed an improvement in the height channel audio when listening to Dolby Atmos content on the Arc? I was watching some Dolby Atmos demos and listening to music last night, and the height channel effects sounded so much better than it ever has. The audio from above was clearer and more defined, and I heard sound effects that I never heard before. I wonder if the latest 14.0 update has anything to do with this.

Hi,Questions:What is the best solution for us?  Do we need two Sonos Amp to get the 4.1 system? Ideal situation:We are thinking about the following, but dont know if it is posible: Connect Sonos amp to the projector. Connect two sonos five to the Sonos Amp for the front speakers. Install 4 * sonos five directly to the power troughout the room Use the two speakers connected to the projector for sound to the projector. Usining all six speakers for musicBackground:We have a room in our office that is 86m²= 925.6963ft². This is the only room with sonos. We will have a projector here for viewing movies, gaming and holding presentation. We usually have parties here also so want good music for that.

I have Sonos devices with Alexa setup in 3 rooms.  In 4th room, I have a Beam that WAS setup with Alexa, but I removed Alexa from it to try to solve this problem: while watching tv using the Beam, if someone speaks to Alexa in another room, the Beam mutes momentarily. I’ve 1) disabled Alexa (in the Sonos app) on the Beam, and left it off. 2) disabled Alexa on all devices in the Sonos app, turned back on for all but the Beam. 3) disabled Sonos skill in Alexa, then reenabled.  Help!

Well I’ve spent my entire Saturday trying to add a Roam to my system. I was using the S1 app because I have an older Sonos5. I don’t want to upgrade my 5 because it still works beautifully for sound. So I removed the 5 and then opened a new account on the new APP. I tried signing in with my existing account but it didn’t recognize my password which made me think I should leave my old account as is, and I’ll use that as the APP for my 5. I signed out of S1 and tried signing into the new APP. Of course my password didn’t work so I hit the Change Password link and it asked for my email. It said it sent an email to change password. Nothing in email. Try again. Nothing I’m email. I went to the old S1 App and hit the change password link. I got an email with password change link. Change password. Go to the new APP to log in. Doesn’t recognize password. So I go through this about six times and bottom line is, I can’t log in to new APP. I GIVE UP! What a waste of a day and I still can’t get th

Hi, I have an issue with my Sonos Beam + SYMFONISK and AirPlay 2. If I’m playing music through AirPlay 2 from either my iPhone, HomePod mini or iPad both Sonos speakers stop for one second and then continues playing music, this is very irregular. Sometimes it works flawless for an hour, sometimes it skips the music for 1 second every 3 minutesI have tried multiple things. Connected the Beam to ethernet, changed Sonos channels, changed WiFi channels. Restarted and reset all Sonos speakers and router as well. Anything else I can do?

so my partner has given me the Pro Ject T1 for my birthday. In my front room i have 2 x Play 1, 2 X Play 3 and a sonos Beam (gen 2. All working seamisly off the app. Looking to add into but all the ways are in to Non Sonos speakers (except the plug in to play 5) so what can i use ? Is it any of them? some thing else?

I have an Amazon “Echo Flex” for Alexa.  It has a silly tiny speaker and I’d like to connect it to my Sonos 5 so that whenever I ask Alexa something, it responds via the Sonos 5 speaker.   The Alexa app supports using WiFi Speakers for voice response output.  However, for the Sonos 5, the option is greyed out.  It says:“Why can't I use my Preferred Speaker?For a speaker to work with an Echo Inout, it must be able to play all audio.  Your Preferred Speaker is only available to certain types of audio, like music and audiobooks.  To use a Preferred Speaker with Echo Input, select an Alexa device with a built-in speaker.” Given that Amazon Alexa has been around for years, I thought that Sonos would have caught up?  The Sonos 5 is such a great speaker.  It seems a shame to have such small modern age issues.
