I have linked my new Sonos One to Google assistant. I use Youtube Music Premium as my default service.  When I ask Sonos to play music….It says “Playing music on Youtube music”...”Sorry something went wrong ….” and it does not play any music...

Hi. I have recently bought a Sub 3 and I have been experimenting to try and find the best position to place it.I have tried in the corner of the room, underneath my settee and behind me on the floor but I like my current position the best on the floor by the side of my TV cabinet.However should I be concerned that my Sky Q digibox is only around 2ft away from the Sub itself as I know that strong speakers (that are in the Sub) can affect hard drives abd there's one in my Sky Q digibox!Many thanks for any feedback.Cheers 🍻 

I am very interested in purchasing a Brennan B2, however before committing I would like to ask those who have the knowledge on this forum will it work with older Sonos equipment?I have the following kit -3 x Play 3 speakers, 1 x Connect and a CR200 controller. I have the Sonos S1 app on a smartphone and PC.Many thanks 

new system set up . all wireless no boost no ethernet . Wifi is stable and fast. no other networks . Sonos reports none of the devices are found ? Go to bed with them working and then all lost .Songs play on spotify for a few minutes then lose connection All unit are in fairly small house and wifi router above is in center of gouping. We have play three and roam and SL1  and no amount of resetting and rarangin has worked 

Can I add two Gen 2 One SL Speakers as separate front left and right channels to a Sonos Home Theater System that includes a Sonos Play Base, Subwoofer, and two Play Five Surround Sound Speakers that were all purchased in 2018? The Play Base is connected to an LG 4K TV via an optical cable. The rest of the speakers are connected to the Play Base via WiFi.

My order for the Arc emersion kit shows backordered, Ship date from 2/25/2022. Is everything backordered or just the Arc? Can I get a partial shipment? The ones and the Sub?  Assuming there are many of us on the backorder list. Can you tell me what order dates are being filled now? Just want an idea where I am on the list. 

Hi All,I have a bit of issue with the Sonos setup.I have an Opnsense router and unifi controller running on it for Wifi.I have installed 3 One SL , 1 Sub 3gen and a Beam Gen2 Only the Beam Gen2 is wired to an unifi switch this switch is set to RSTP.The Sonos is connected to my home network where I have firewall rule all to all allowI have 2 rooms, kitchen where 1 One SL is locatedAnd TV corner where 2 One SL , 1 Sub and 1 Beam is locatedNow the SUB does not play when added to the tv corner, only when I move it to kitchen is does work.Now I adjusted the following:Auto-optimize network: off  IGMP Snooping: on Multicast Enhancement (IGMPv3): on Block LAN to WLAN multicast and broadcast data (Classic UI): off The Port where the Beam is connected to is set to Enable Spannin tree protocol But only wifi is also not working. I have turned the wifi off for the beam btw on wired.  Can somebody help me?Is there an limitation?

I have google nest mini and Sonos one. I cant use “ok google” let Sonos play music.But I can play music thought Spotify app , Sonos app , Mac app. Steps to reproduce(speak to google nest mini):1, Ok google,play music on Sonos.2,Ok,play Spotify music on Sonos, sorry, This device does not support this feature. Steps to reproduce(speak to Sonos one):1,Ok google, play music on Sonosdoesn't respond.but if I ask weather or time, it worked. I changed my google assistant default audio device to Sonos, it also doesn't work.

I keep having to unplug them and replug them back in for them to appear in my products. Only power cycle seems to solve issue. All my other speakers are fine, it's just the two rooms I have playbars that keep disappearing over night, both also have TV plugged into them.This has been happening for ages now, since an update a while back.I've looked at my network and there's only just the one wi-fi all my products are using. I've tried removing, and starting fresh, didn't help.Thanks for any advice 

Hello everyone, this has been kicking my butt for a while now so decided to reach out. Have had my gen 2 play 5 connected to my system for years now and a month ago it stopped wanting to work on Wi-Fi, only plays when using an Ethernet cord. I’ve tried resetting it to factoring settings, rebooted router/modem etc with no success but all other speakers are working just fine on Wi-Fi. Submitted a diagnosis 1990799554. hopefully I can get this figured out. Dropped my play 1 and now rattles horribly with any amount of bass, I guess I can hop on YouTube to try and take it apart to see what’s going on?

HiI am new to sonos and really enjoy my Sonos one. We are 4 people in the house and I'm the only one who installed and configured the Sonos app and One. When someone asks Google to play music from Spotify on the Sonos, which Google and Spotify accounts are in use? Mine? If I leave the house with my phone the music stops. So who owns the music? Who controls the device? Hope my question makes sense. Thanks

Hi AllNewbie here and my 1st post.Soon to be purchasing some Sonos gear but need some advice please.I will soon be buying an LG Oled TV. to go with that I would like a great (surround) sound system.I have been advised that I should get the following Sonos Arc sound bar  Sonos Amp Pair of Sonance/Sonos Ceiling speakers It has also been suggested to me that the Sonance/Sonos Ceiling speakers  have there own amp built into the speakers, therefore they only need power, and I would not need a Sonos Amp.Is this correct ? Also the Arc soundbar would be wired to the TV, but how would it connect to the Amp ? would it need to connect to the Amp ? Hope you can throw some light onto my quiries  Thank in advance  

Hi all,I am new to this.I just bought beam 2. Everything is working fine but not the Dolby Atmos.I have C1 TV, premium Netlifx and tried Disney plus too.Tried changing the HDMi cable that is connected to the the apple TV 4k but nothing happened. Anything else I could try? Thanks 

I just got a second Roam, I added it to the app etc and all seemed well, I then set the two up as a stereo pair but after this the new one no longer shows in the App but the first one doesn show itself as part of a stereo pair. If I switch the new one off the app lists “Unamed room” as going offline and if I switch it back on then that line disappears.I have tried factory resetting both units and restarting the app all more than once , I just cannot get it to appear ( except when switched off )

I’ve had my beam gen2 since it came out and a Sonos One earlier this year. Got my second one and speaker stands and paired everything together. Movie watching was enjoyable, however music playback has been disappointing. The issue is when playing with the “full” setting the speakers sound tinny and I hear light static, there is also a delay which is noticeable with any edm tracks. However when in ambient mode the issue isn’t present and turning up the rear volume the system sounds balanced and pleasant. I contacted support, and unpaired and repaired the speakers, all sounded well when grouped up in both ambient and full mode. However once trueplay was set up the initial issues came back (slightly less noticeable). It seems trueplay has caused issues but I can’t seem to fix even with doing a third try of it. I am using an iPhone 13 pro max and did clean out the mics. Has anyone else experience this?

I have a play bar and two Sonos one surround speakers and the system was working fine for three years.  The play bar is connected directly to the tv thru the tv audio  connection. When the play bar is feed sound thru  the tv, the rear surround speakers do not work, When you listen to music thru  the app, all the speakers work.  I have tried disconnecting and re connecting the speaker and this did not help.   I have made sure the tv is in Dolby.  Is is like my play bar will not talk to the surround speakers when feed by the tv.  My next step was to do a factory reset but looking for other options?

Hello All,New to Sonos and the community.I purchased two Sonos 5 Speakers.  I have them setup (via wireless) with the app and was able to successfully put them into a “Stereo Pair”.  This works perfectly when playing Spotify, Pandora, etc.  The issue I am having is with the Line-In from my Turntable.   I have the new AT-LP120XBT-USB and have it connected directly to the Line-In of the Left Sonos 5.  I only ever get sound out of that speaker.  If I move the Line-In to the right speaker - I don’t ever get sound out of the right speaker.  Is this by design?I also notice in the app, that it does correctly show the Line-In connected to the respective speaker, but for the life of me, I can’t get it to play in stereo which is very disappointing.Can anyone offer any assistance?  Thanks!

App improvement suggestion…In the Sonos app, when searching Spotify, would it be possible to clearly differentiate an artists full length albums from their singles and other songs?  The Spotify app itself has a ‘Show Discography’ button, that clearly shows all albums and the year they were released by an artist. This tiny change would make the app experience so much better.  I often find myself having to go to the Spotify app to first confirm the latest album released by an artist, then going into the Sonos app to select it from (what appears to me to be) a jumble of songs - EPs, albums, singles - in no defined order. It does appear that, in the Sonos app, the latest release by an artist is the top result, but even a year next to this would help to confirm.

I’ve seen there are a lot of questions on how to avoid the audio delay on analogue line-in connections. I’ve already reduced the delay to the minimum 75ms but as I want to hook up some DJ Equipment to my Sonos Amp so any delay is unacceptable. I’m considering a solution and want to get opinions on if it will work. I have no need for multi-room for this use case.Below is what I’m thinking… will it work?!My plan is to use the HDMI ARC input on the Amp as an audio-only input from the DJ Equipment (I believe this port has no delay). To confuse things further I’d also like to keep my TV connected to the single HDMI input on the Sonos AMP.To do this I’m considering the following (complex!) setup.DJ Equipment analogue stereo output > connects to HDMI Converter (converts signal to audio-only HDMI) HDMI Converter > connects to HDMI Switcher (one of those boxes that allows you to switch between inputs when you want to make the most of a small number of ports) TV > connects to HDMI Switc

Dear Forum,i have 2 Beams in my house, 1 wants to connect to muic being shared to it, [just about] 1 doesnt.Beam 1 is on the same TV as an Apple TV and appears to want to use the ATV to have music shared to it as the Beam itself wont. So i share to the ATV which pops up. Is this normal and why wont my Beam take the music directly?Beam 2 will play music from the Sonos App but not from Apple Music app and shared to it?

Dear Forum,Any idea why 1 of 4 of my iOS devices wont login to Sonos S2 app? Simply says ‘Network Pronblem Detected’. There is no network problem as 3 other devices are logged into same app, and the rest of the network is operating fine.I have reset app rom with settings; nothing.i have delted app and reinstalled it, same issue.Any ideas?

Tried to play all speakers at the same time results in only 1 or 2 speakers playing. But when I try to play only 1 speaker, it works.Diagnostic: 1295710140

Hello,I recently (4-5 months back) purchased a Sonos Arc and Sub (Gen 3) to add to my existing system of Play 1’s and Sub (Gen 2). Prior to buying these 2 new sonos products, I never had the below issues, but since connecting the Arc to my Living Room config (TV + 2 Play 1s + 2 Sub), there have been several instances when Sonos has started playing music on its own in the middle of the night, or sometimes early morning.And atleast 2 times now, while watching Netflix on TV via the connected playstation, the system randomly connected to Youtube (disconnecting from Netflix), and started playing a youtube video. The first time was a couple weeks ago, but the second time just happened a couple hours back, and I then went ahead and generated the Sonos diagnostics.I had to do it twice since the 1st time I may not have been connected to the home wifi. # 1279716390# 654016055 I briefly researched this on google the last time it happened, and saw some posts about spotify etc being the culprit for

hi - hainging a new TV with a Beam (Gen1) and want to do surround speakers with 2 sonos ceiling speakers (with a connect:Amp).  Does the amp need to be wire connected to the beam (which would mean in physical proximity), or linked in the app to make it work (which means could put the amp in the closet)?thanks
