Sub says it's connected to Playbar, but no sound is output

Hello,

I’m having an issue when I try to add my Sub (wifi) to my Playbar (wired with wifi disabled). The iOS app chugs away for a while, then says, “There was a problem adding your Sub. Check the network connection and make sure your product is powered on.”

However, when I exit that screen, it shows the Sub paired to the Playbar – I can turn it on/off, manage its EQ, etc. However, when I play something through the Playbar, no sound comes out of the Sub.

I’ve submitted diagnostics 1420622505. Thanks!

Got it figured out. Even with the Playbar wired, it turns out it needed to have wifi enabled, as well, for the sub to work as expected.

Indeed. Wifi off in this context for Sonos means “all wireless connections off”, including the wireless connection to the Sub.
