I’m planning to use my 2 Sonos One speakers as a surround pair along with Sonos Beam. (Maybe in future I’m going to invest into Sonos Sub Mini)I can connect all 3 of them via Ethernet cable. Should I connect all of them to the same wired network or is it better to just connect one speaker in the Sonos net and let them establish a wireless network instead?

Hi all I currently have a sonos one and am of the understanding that there is no bluetooth connectivity to connect a device for audio playback. I'm wondering if there is a work around to this. I know I could look to purchase a move or roam and link this to my existing system, seems a bit of a pricy investment considering the cost of One. I was wondering however if this same principle will apply using an alexa device, an echo dot for example witch allows bluetooth playback, with this will I then have the option to mirror this audio on my sonos one?  Any help will be appreciated 

When I finish playing a game on the XBOX. I lose my audio. It seems that the application shows the Dolby 5.1 during the game but after I exit the game, whilst still on the XBOX, the menu nor apps have no audio. I have to turn off the XBOX to get it too come back. It's really so confusing. I've checked settings over and over to attempt a fix but I've gotten nothing. Does anyone have any idea why this is occurring?  Thank you so much in advance!

To Sonos .. I have to say that your product is the biggest pain in the a$$ to get going .. With todays tech .. Can’t we just get it so I turn it on and connect to Bluetooth like other speaker products  .. a bit frustrated !! Great sound .. crappy integration 

hi :) i have a beam + sub mini + 2 one set up, i just connected my turn table to port and playing auto on my set up, I noticed there is no bass come from sub mini at all, is this meant to be or am i doing something wrong? many thanks Shan 

My Sonos Move will not connect.  I have performed all the instructions for connecting and resetting.  When power is first turned on, a white blinks.

While using the Tidal App on iPhone, playing directly to a pair of fives via tidal connect, after a few songs the app on the phone appears to disconnect. Music keeps playing, but can no longer control with phone. Have to reconnect and start the current song over. This process then repeats every few songs. Not sure if there is a setting I need to change or if this is just an ongoing bug with tidal app/Sonos. Does not seem to be an issue if using ipad. Any thoughts are appreciated. 

Hi, I would like to have a clarification concerning the following and undocumented point. Are Sonos devices, including the very new Era, able to switch off the wifi when in standby mode ? I am asking this because I would like to use it in my bedroom, very close to my head and use the alarm function. When sleeping, I don’t feel very confident knowing that I have a wifi source always activated during all the night.Best regardssl91

Hi together,I’ve had this issue now for some weeks when the Sonos players denied to playback music.I tried many troubleshooting from the support websites with no results.After talking to the german hotline support for 3 hours with 3 guys, we found out via the http://<IP>:1400/tools page, that the players cannot resolve any addresses. So I guess it’s some DNS Issues here.Unfortunately the support couldn’t help with this issue as my router-config looks good.We tried using googles DNS in my router settings and also cloudflare dns won’t help. I also have reset the router and the speakers several times. A factory reset for the Play:1 didnt help either as I cannot add it to the Sonos Controller App anymore because it cannot contact the update.sonos.com server. Further Info: All my speakers are first generation (Playbar, 2x Play:3, Play:1) They are connected via WiFi currently, but I also tried an ethernetcable connection. Any suggestions from your side?Thanks & Kind Regards

Alexa answers my request, for example “Alexa play Imelda May”  she then says the normal “shuffling sons by Imelda May”   - But then nothing.  My other echo devices work fine. Sonos One Gen 2 

We are a few at home and sometimes we like to listen individually to our own music from our Deezer accounts. I find that I have to change account too often and sometimes forget to do so which means that sometimes a member of my family uses Deezer from my account and ads favorites or listens to flow but has nothing to do with the flow that each family member uses. Is there a way that I can associate one speaker with one deezer account? Without losing the ability to change accounts if needed? For instance I'd like a specific Sonos Roam speaker, that often one of my family members use, to have his Deezer account on that one. It would also be nice if I can say, Sonos, play this from that Deezer account..so I don't have to change account manually from the app. I hope I made myself clear about what I mean. Thank you

Hello All,I run a couple of Sonos Fives, a couple of Ones, a Sub Gen 3 and I run a turntable into one of the Fives. I had initially had WiFi issues so I bought a boost to run ethernet and then the mesh of the speakers. Been working perfectly.So, I thought I would buy a roam so I could throw a vinyl record on, then carry it to the laundry, garden etc and keep listening. I was sooo disappointed to realise initially that Roam and Move can’t connect to my Sonnet which seems ridiculous. Sonos have their own mesh system then release a speaker that can't connect to it so, I connected it to the Wifi.Now - if I play a record the entire system works beautifully except, the roam can’t keep a stream going for more than a few seconds so basically, unusable in that manner.Any thoughts at all?Thanks guys, Robin

In the past when I have attached a line-in from an audio interface or iOS device out to a Sonos Play (10 years ago) I experienced a great deal of latency, more than I could tolerate for ‘live’ play.The speaker didn’t behave like a normal speaker in that way as if the guts of the device was adding latency due to timing algorithm - not sure how but the latency was so bad I could only use it for listening alone. I would consider buying the new speaker if the latency issue went away. Obviously, this is a consumer device but having the speaker have a dual purpose would help me decide to buy it. joe

Je vois bien soit les 2 Sonos dans l’appli Sonos et je vois bien l’ampli et ses 2 enceintes dans l’appli HEOS. Je peux bien lire séparément sur les Sonos ou les Marantz mais pas les 4 ensemble. Comment faire svp pour les regrouper (multiroom des 4 ensembles).Merci d’avance.

Hi,Using two fives and two one’s, a beam and a receiver, when I click the volume button up or down on the side of my iphone 14 (IOS16.3) or move the slider up or down in the Sonos app, the volume is quickly interrupted by the Sonos speaker or Samsung TV saying, “receiver”.  Two clicks on volume result in the volume being interrupted by the Sonos system (or Samsung) saying, “receiver”. I have had Sonos for years and have never heard this.  How and where do I disable this? Wildly annoying.

I just tried to download Sonos on my Macbook Air and noticed it’s not available for download all of a sudden? I am running Ventura 13.2.1. When I go to the apple store on my mac to try and download it, it says “This app is available only on the App Store for iPhone and iPad.” ???Please don’t tell me I can no longer control Sonos from my laptop.

I listen to two podcasts on my free time: The Joe Rogan Show, and recently, Deep Questions with Cal Newport. Now, I can start the Joe Rogan podcast on Spotify and it’ll play immediately on my Sonos One (Realistically it’s a 2-3 second delay), and I’ll be able to listen to it till the end, like normal.However, if I click on Newport’s podcast, it’ll take longer (6-9 seconds), if I pause and resume the podcast it’ll take the same amount of time, it’ll normally restart an episode I’m in the middle of even though Spotify says I’m listening to the middle of it, but the most frustrating part is that around the 3 minute mark of time left (One time it picked 5) it’ll cut off for a moment and return to a previous audio clip of the podcast, and it’ll play over, and over, and over. If I try to listen to the rest of the podcast, the same thing will happen at smaller intervals. Why does this happen? Has anyone else encountered this issue and/or managed to solve it?

I have an already existing turntable set up of a Fluance RT 82 (which doesn’t have a built in phono preamp) > Phono In of a Sony STR-DH190 amp > speaker wire to passive speakers.The family room is next to my set up is going to have ceiling speakers installed with a Sonos amp (primarily used for TV sound).I’d like to be able to sometimes listen to my wired set up as described through my wired speakers and other times, play my turntable through my sonos amp in the family room.l’ve read there are a few options (using a port, a Connect G2, or a Bluetooth transmitter + Roam), but I’m not sure how all the connections work and in what order and how to change the output to toggle between the hardwired output and the Sonos.  I do see on my amp, input 4 has both IN and OUT, but I don’t see how to switch between the speaker terminal out and the input 4 out.And if all of this is possible, any guidance of pros/cons between the port/connect G2/BT+Roam options would be appreciated. Thanks!

When will sonos be compatible with the Deezer Connect application, like with Spotify?

Sonos One vs.  AirPlay.  😡Can't play from my iPhone/Music App throught Airplay on our 1 Sonos One - the other 2 we have, works without problems.Tried doing a reset, and it works, RIGHT until I play something from the Sonos app on my iPhone, then it won't work again!  Everything is updated, the iPhone, Apps and the Sonos speakers….. What to do??“cannot connect to Køkken” ⤵️

When I select Apple Music → Library → Playlists, the error message “An error occurred while adding tracks to the Queue (1002)”. This also happens if I select Library → Songs but not when I choose Library → Artists or Albums. I can hear specific artists or albums but not playlists or songs. Any help would be appreciated.

My playbar/sub has dropped from the mobile app, but is still present in the PC desktop app. I've removed/reinstalled the app, factory reset the playbar/sub, and readded to the system. It's visible until I close the mobile app, then it's gone again  but still visible on the desktop app. This very frustrating! Any ideas?
