I'm assuming that the line-in port on the Sonos Era will act as an input which can be played over a whole speaker group? If this is the case is the Sonos Port now more or less redundant if you upgrade at least one speaker from each of your speaker groups to an Era device.Can anyone confirm if my assumption is correct?

I have been trying to connect a BeoSound 9000 CD Player to a Sonos Amp.  First I used a 5 Pin DIN to 2X RCA male cable to connect the BeoSound AUX to the Line In on the Sonos Amp.  Just got very faint sound even with the volume turned all the way up.  Checked on this Forum and realized the cable I had was probably wired for Line Out and the faint sound was cross talk between the pins on the DIN socket on the BeoSound.Next, I used a Kenable 5 Pin Male Din Plug to 4 x RCA Phono Male Plugs Audio Cable that I bought from Amazon.  I used the black RCA plug in the left Line In channel and the yellow RCA plug in the right Line In channel on the Amp.  I have tried the DIN plug in the AUX socket and the second Powerlink socket designed for connecting powered B&O speakers to the BeoSound.  No sound out of the AUX socket. with the DIN in the Powerlink socket, I get mono sound only out of some components of my Sonos system but not the speakers or sub connected to the Amp the BeoSound is connec

I would like to add additional sonos products that will allow audio output in my fitness room. Currently my setup includes arc, sub 3, 2 era 300 speakers and an port in the family room. I would like to tie in an sonos speaker and/or soundbar or other product that will allow me to play the audio from my treadmill and rower. Also to play audio from the TV and DVD player. All while being connected to the main sonos system. What would be the sonos product or products that can cover my fitness room needs. Thank you

Error: “There is not enough room to update your music library. Please remove unused queues or saved playlists and try again.” That is the error message I get when I try to add my Apple/iTunes Music Library to Sonos on my new laptop (MacBook Pro) running Ventura, which is my music server.  I read the previous posts dealing with this issue, but have not found answers. My music library has less than 30,000 songs and about 300 playlists, some of which are organized under folders and some have 100+ songs in them. I have 2 Sonos systems in 2 homes.  A legacy system (on an S1 controller) in one and a newer system in a 2nd home (on an S2 controller).  Both systems work very well with multiple zones. I have never had any issues updating my music library on either system, and haven’t made significant changes to my library other than adding a handful or playlists and songs since I go this new MacBook.  But the problem started since I have this new machine.  I successfully transferred my iTunes/Ap

HiDoes anyone know if either of the above services have more Dolby Atmos tracks than the other? I'm an Amazon girl but wonder if Apple have more tracks? 

I recently installed a Sonos Amp along with a Roam on my new patio. So far, I am loving the audio. The Roam teamed with the Amp gives me hands-free voice control over everything I want outside. My hope was that, with the Roam, it could be left outdoors during the warmer months and only need to be brought inside in the Winter.My Question is: What kind of temperatures should I be able to keep the Roam outside 24/7? I have a wireless charger set up and the Roam is mounted on a wall under an awning and pergola, so other than dust and wayward water spray, it should get very little direct contact with the elements. I figured that I would need to keep the Roam indoors during the Winter months but would be curious if anyone else has done something similar and what their experiences were.

I have a Sonos Arc with sub connected to an LG hdmi arc. When playing Netflix and Ps5 I get Dolby but when playing my IPtV I get pcm stereo. The movies I’m streaming have full high quality audio yet not get the best audio quality. Please help

Hello, I sent my son a Sonos Roam to Fort Bragg. He can’t use it or even get to the Bluetooth mode because he can’t do the initial set up. Army base Wi-Fi doesn’t let him in. I know he has to be on a home network for initial set up but there must be a way he can bypass this. Thank you for your help! I’ve read about travel routers or using a hotspot but I’m not sure how to explain this to him because I’m not very techie.

Hi, I have a connect:amp, and a bunch of ones and play3s.  The amp is 4 years old, and recently started losing connection. I've followed the instructions and it reconnects.  My google wifi shows 'great connection' to the amp.  Is the amp starting to fail, or is this a software issue? is there anything I can check?  the play3s are on the same access point, but a little closer (none are more than ~30 feet), and haven't had the problem. Thanks

Sub is connected but is not working. Trueplay doesnt complete - cant find one speaker - even though i can see all speakers connected but doesnt work.Sound does cut in and out. 966315147 is the diagnostics number.

How can you use ifttt to play radio 4 on sonos through Google assistant

Hi there,I recently added a new AppleTV 4K to my home, during the set up process it requested I upgrade my HomeKit architecture (which I did). All iOS devices are running on 16.4 and the Ones are working through the Sonos app itself. All my speakers are plugged in through Ethernet.Since I have not been able to AirPlay to my two Sonos Ones. My Sonos Arc is unaffected.System Info:I tried factory reset as per as well as resetting / rebooting as perbut neither have resolved my issue.Where to from here?Thank you, 

As part of house renovations I’m updating the whole music system, we’ve now got an exposed RSJ that separates the kitchen and dining room, its open plan but still distinct enough to be 2 different rooms. The RSJ would make a beautiful location for a beam gen 2 facing into the kitchen, then on the back on the RSJ facing into the dining room a pair of era 100’s. Does anyone have experience of the beam gen 2 vs the era 300? The era 300 wouldn’t be a natural fit anywhere in the room but if the sound is significantly better we may have to find somewhere. 2 pairs of era 100 was also a consideration but with the speakers being placed relatively high in the room the dolby atmos feature would most likely be beneficial.

Hi,I’m looking to connect a record player (which has a built-in preamp) to my Sonos Beam and One SL’s. I heard that I could purchase a Sonos Port and connect the Port to my Beam via Wi-Fi to be able to play records over my sound system. Would this work?

I’ve set up a Beam to our TV and we have 2 moves that are connected through the Beam.  The TV remote can control the volume for the Beam but will not control the moves.  We are wanting them to sync together so the tv remote can control all volume.  We have grouped the beam and moves, but the remote still only controls the Beam volume.  How do we sync them so the remote will control all devices together?

Here’s what happens: I play music through one speaker in a room for a while then stop and go do something else. Later, I try to start music in a different room but it only plays in the room from earlier. The app allows me to change the speaker and room and shows that I’ve changed them...but the music keeps coming from the speaker from earlier. So I try to turn the music off entirely but it won’t turn off, just keeps playing from the speaker. So I close the app. Music keeps right on playing. It only stops when I go to the original room and unplug the speaker. 

This is for an RV application. Which is certainly not ideal for sound reproduction.We’ve a 45’ Coach, and the front listening area is about 28’ x 12’ (Four slide in the coach, and when opened, the two front slides provide up to 12’ width for sitting and galley area.). The 50” TV and Beam are in the front of the cab, above the dash area. And due to side cabinets and no slides in that area, has about a 7’ wide area. Thus my comment about non ideal sound reproduction spacing to work with:)! Our primary purpose for the Beam, was to improve the Voice Audio, as the TV’s speakers are enclosed in the mounting cabinet. To say the lease, the TV speakers are severely muffled. And the Beam + Sub Mini, after Trueplay, really does a nice job for TV audio, and casual music reproduction. We’re not too concerned with Surround Sound, and the Beam/Sub Mini is more then sufficient for our TV and Movie watching.I’d like to improve the HiFi sound reproduction, primarily simple Stereo… That’s the background

Hello! I have just received a new router and set it up. I cannot access the part of the Sonos app that is settings > WiFi, in order to connect my beam and Sonos one, it’s greyed out. Does anyone know a fix for this please? I have used the Ethernet for now but this is not ideal for me. 

Is it possible to use the ERA speakers (or other speakers for that matter) as radio without using the app. Meaning you can turn on a favorite radio station from the top of the speaker and not have to start it from your phone. 

Hi Got an sonos arc connected to an lg oled c2 83” and sound works fine.But when trying to set it Up with the app it fails and disconnects. Its when i get to the tv installation part it wants to Connect to earc hdmi port and it goes ”testing” and then the tv speakers gets changed to internal speakers and the soundbar reconnects or something because ”hdmi2 is avalible” pops Up on the tv the like i just connected the soundbar. and after that the app says ”not connected to arc!”   Ive tired turning off simplelink and on diffrent hdmi Cables tried both sonos and tv uppdated to newest firmware 

Hi.today I bought the beam 2.i have lg tv with arc (not earc) which I connected the beam to.also using the newest Apple TV 4K.on Sonos website it says that atmos can work with arc with Dolby digital +.but when I stream content which suppose to be atmos, it says on the Sonos app it’s Dolby digital 5.1.if it’s dolby digital plus it should write that?or it suppose to write atmos?am I missing something?thanks

I currently have a Sonos Beam Gen 2 with a Sub Mini and a pair of One SL as my Home Theatre System. How/can I integrate a Sonos Era 300 into this system as an additional speaker in the same room?

I have just setup my two new Sonos One 2. gen. When I try to connect/setup to a voice assistant, I can only choose Sonos Voice Control (see picture). I already have the google assistant app and google home app. 

I’d like to request that “Music Choice” be added as a service so I can listen with the Sonos devices.

I have a Port, Sub, Beam and two One’s.  Port is connected via cable.  Everything else is WiFi.The Port gets “lost” on a regular basis and has to be found.  Quite annoying.When opening the app wouldn’t it be good if both devices (Beam, Port) showed up on the Home Screen for regulating volume, etc.The UI for selecting music is clunky.   I believe selecting the device then the source/device would be more intuitive rather then the opposite.Regards.
