Hi all!
I have the Playbar connected via optical to my Sony KDL 55 W 805 B from 2014. It has the HDMI arc and CEC. If I upgrade to Arc what connection should i Use (optical or hdmi) an what features will i miss?

I would always use HDMI-ARC so you can use the TV’s remote for volume on the Arc, without a learning procdure.
Since your TV is from 2014 it probably won’t do Atmos.
