Hello, I just bought a soundbar Sonos Arc 5.0 Dolby Atmos and it seems to have some conectivity issue when I commute between the TV and a MI Box I am using. It only works on one of them and when I commute between the devices Sonos does not output the sound anymore, the sound is output by the device itself (only after the commute).My current setup is:Samsung TV UE48J5600MI BOX 4 -> connected to HDMI  (STB)Sonos Arc 5 -> connected to HDMI  (ARC)Xbox -> connected to HDMI (MHL/DVI)Is there anyway to solve my problem ? And make Sonos output for all devices ? Thank you !

A question for the moderator(s) of this community: since a couple of days I no longer receive mail when a new answer was added to a discussion I subscribed to. The last mail I received was on March 21, after that nothing. Is this a problem on my side or is it a community/Insided problem? BTW I did check my spambox, no mails there either.

Patio is about to start construction and need help setting up audio. I want to be able to hear music in the patio as well as near the fire pit which will be about 20 feet away. Also building a covered pavllion on the patio where I will be adding a tv as well. I’d like to hear the tv on all speakers if i wanted or if I wanted the pavillion to play whats on tv and the rest of the speakers to play music.  I think i would need two separate zones in order to acheive this.  I just purchased the sonance 6.1 garden series which comes with sonos amp.  I was thinking of getting mounted or in ceiling outdoor speakers for the pavillion so that would provide the audio for the tv and then connect them to another sonos amp.  Am i thinking this correctly? is there a more cost effective solution?  I am also thinking of keeping both amps outside in a covered enclosure and run ethernet cable outside to get direct internet connection vs wifi. Moved my set of play 1’s from living room to bedroom. After deciding to purchase a set of era 100’s to place in bedroom I have tried to remove bedroom location on my system through the app but unable. My system now has living room with all home theater speakers listed and now has the bedroom listed with one play1 speaker and the living room is listed again with the other play 1. Is there any way to remove the 2 rooms not being used and speakers not being used.  Any help would be appreciated 

Sonos One SL Speaker issue with 1 of 2 speakers in bedroom, just randomly quit working.  Both soft/hard resets performed, but no connection.  Resets went thru their steps and appeared to have no issues.  Speaker was installed 7 months ago, along with 9 others.  No other speaker in our home has ever had an issue, like we are experiencing here.All help is appreciated!

We are four people in our familiy and we have four sonos devices spread around the house which we all use from time to time to stream Spotify from our own accounts. It all works very well when we use the app. However whenever somebody uses Google Assistent voice control to play a song on spotify it automatically streams music using my spotify account - regardles of who gives the control. This happens even if i’m at work. How can we set it up, so it uses their own? If that’s not possible how can we then make a shared account for the house - and use our own private when out? Cheers!

Since the 15.2.1 update my system looses the date and time whenever the power goes out even briefly (so the wifi router resets), with the result that alarms do not function. (Living in Maine, such power flickers are frequent) The first time it happened support suggested deleting and reinstalling the app on my phone, which worked (XR running 16.3.1). The second time it happened simply restarting the app fixed it. The third time, nothing helps: restarting, resetting, reinstalling in both my phone and iPad. Trying to check for updates results in a 1101 error. Any advice appreciated!

Was enjoying music on several zones, via old connect:amp, and hooked up newer connect in pool house for spring; did an update to pool house connect and now no connect:amps or Play 5 are showing up in Sonos S1 controller.  I have S2 on my phone to control music at other locations but use S1 at home.

Both Alexa and hey Sonos have stopped working. I can play music thru the app, but all voice control is gone. I rebooted speakers, deleted and reconnected WiFi, deleted and added both voice controls (which worked upon initial so mics are working) but then would not work after setup. I signed out of every account and logged back in. Nothing!!!!! Is the Sonos server down? Thx Jackie

Replaced my 1SL with pair of Era 100 for surrounds was watching Netflix and whole sound cut out, like muted. Video was on a ATV4K still playing had to pause and exit all the way out to main menu restart the show to get sound. Watched some regular cable tv and doesn’t appear to be doing it that way.

I'd like to be able to EQ my turntable and have it set differently than the normal EQ settings I have going through my beam 2 and surrounds while watching TV or streaming music.My first issue is that when I add the Connect to the TV room it creates a separate TV Room 2. I'd like to just add it to the existing room but it doesn't seem possible.When music is playing via turntable to connect to tv room setup, the EQ with the Connect doesn't do anything for the sound. It is only when I go to the speakers playing the music, tv room, I can change EQ settings. Id like to just have something set for the turntable as it needs a little more bass and don't want to have to change EQ settings when switching back to TV. Hallo everyone, I’ve sold Sonos One gen 2 on eBay to to upgrade to Sonos Era 100 and forgot to unpair it - will new user have possibility to pair it with his iPhone (by just resetting it “disconnect cable - press and hold Pair Button - connect power cable”)?Or will it be permanently locked like iPhone iCloud / Activation Lock? Thank YouBart

Interested if others have experienced problems with grouping speakers and Sonosnet I have 3 Rooms with Stereo Speakers + Sub (2 with S1+Sub, 1 with S5+sub).  Another 2 rooms with single Play 1’s.  Speakers are initially on Sonosnet via a Boost. When I group all speakers to the S5+Sub room and Music has started, I then advance to the next song.  The S5+Sub plays new song fairly quickly, but the  2 S1+sub rooms start and stop playing intermittently.  Sometime L or R only.  After about 1-1.5min, all speakers are playing as expected in the group.  Advance to next song same problem repeats.  If I wait till the song end and then normal advance to next song, all speakers generally are in sync fairly quickly. (Diagnostic 857677570 whilst sputtering sounds (eg. L then R then ..., then no audio, then L then eventually all speakers playing), then Diagnostic 1865270988 when sound is stable - in case Sonos are watching) Disconnect Sonos and wait till all speakers are on local WiFi.Start a group ses

I’ve had a Play 5 gen 2 for 5+ years working without issue.  Last 2 months has been hell for me because it just suddenly stops working and no longer connected (and not seen by app).  I’ve tried factory reset a dozen times and I’m able to set it up, but then the app warns me I may have to restart the speaker if it’s not seen in app. I do that and it’s not resolved.  When network cable is unplugged:Play 5 no longer appears as available in the app ('System' page as well 'About My System') Play 5 no longer plays any music l when I press the play button Play 5 appears in the Airplay list on my iPhone, but actual Airplay connection appears to fail App function 'Find Missing Products' is unable to retrieve App function 'Manage Networks' brings mixed results, only once out of several attempts I managed to get connected to wifi (router lists IP address) ... but the device did not end up in the 'System' page and after restart it was no longer connectedI’m so frustrated! Can someone help? my diag

According to the brazilian Sonos Webpage, the Sonos One works with Alexa. But, in my setup with 2 Sonos One and a Sonos Beam, Alexa does not show up as Voice Service. This is really bad, as it means that I cannot use my Fire TV cube!It is really frustrating, as the interaction with this device was the primary reason for buying the Sonos system. I feel mislead by Sonos Brazil. [Yes, I created this topic out of frustration, I feel mislead!]

So it is great that we can now listen to Apple Music Dolby Atmos from the Sonos app, but when playing to the Sonos Amp does it stream in Lossless as there is no icon to indicate this?

Hi I have the Arc soundbar and sub mini in my living room which has high ceilings (about 16 feet). Can you please share any recommendations on things I need to do to get the ost optimal performance from Sonos set up? Also is it important to leave a 4” space between the TV and Arc soundbar?

HiI have a stereo pair in the Kitchen made up of a One and a One SL speaker.Recently if I join the Living Room to the Kitchen, I start getting drop outs or players stopping or general unreliability.I looked at the Network Matrix under the http://playerip:1400/support/review URL and noticed that the One SL speaker show as white and has text of “Noise Floor: 0, 0, 0, 0 undefined” whereas all the others have values and ‘undefined’ showing as something similar to ‘OFDM ANI level:0’ I have factory reset both the Kitchen One speakers but it still shows like this. Does this mean there is a problem with the WiFi adapter inside it or what else is wrong? Many thanks Rob

EDIT: Wrong TV model number, it is KDL-48WD65xI am buying a soundbar for my old mom, to make voices more clear in movies and series.She has an Apple TV 4K gen 3 (the new model) which she uses for watching everything.The TV is a KDL-48WD65x from 2016 which is only used as a monitor for the ATV.The TV has 1 HDMI ARC port, it supports Dolby Digital Plus.So I am guessing the setup would be:AppleTV 4K > TV HDMI 2  - TV HDMI 1 (ARC) > Sonos Beam Gen 2 HDMICan’t find mentions of audio passthrough of dolby signals, so not sure if the TV is compatible?Is this guaranteed to work, or are there possible pitfalls with a TV this old? Link to TV manual:https://www.sony.co.uk/electronics/support/res/manuals/4584/45847741M.pdf
