Max volume of Move differs from time to time.

If i play on max volume on my Move sometimes its like 80% of the volume. But then after a while it will just add the 20% out of nowhere and then later it can diss appear again.

 

Can anyone explain this and know a fix for it?

I can add that the volume is not changed in the app or anything like that, it’s just like the max volume changes on the move from time to time and that can happen in the middle of a song and then come and go and the apps will be at max volume at all time

Welcome to the Sonos Community!

Depending on the environment’s temperature, Move may temporarily reduce it’s volume to protect itself from over-heating - especially if you are playing at 100% volume.

Something else could be happening however, so I recommend you get in touch with our technical support team who have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your Sonos system and what it reports, though I recommend you first recreate the issue and submit a support diagnostic before getting in touch.
