sonos 3 added to ceiling speakers

Thanks for any help.

I have a sonos play 3 that I want to use in a kitchen area. I also have two non-sonos ceiling speakers in this area, that I wish to play at the same time as the sonos 3.

Are you able to tell me what I need to make this work. Could I use a sonos Gen 1 amp? Do I need anything else.

Thanks for taking a read!

The Play 3 is S1 capable though, so it could work. If you have the money an Amp would be best, so you can stay on S2.

You need an Amp or Connect:Amp to power the two in-ceiling speakers.

NOTE: The Connect:Amp (Gen 1) is only compatible with the S1 app. The Amp or Connect:Amp (Gen 2) works with either the S1 or S2 app.
