Today Sonos doesn’t work with spotify.  I see that error message at the page https://spotify-v5.ws.sonos.com/deviceLink/error(500) Siamo spiacenti, ma non siamo in grado di impostare l'account Spotify in questo momento. Ttry from PC and from smartphone but it doesn’t work.What can I do?

I have recently found some tracks on my PC can't be played on my Sonos system. The error “incorrectly coded" is the reason for skipping the tracks.  These skipped tracks play fine on Windows media player and were taken off CDs mainly using the same process and setup as all the ones which play fine.

I cannot connect to Spotify on Sonos app,it just shows an error page.i tried uninstallling and reinstalling both apps but it is still the same. What can I do to make them connect?

I have just set up 3 TP-Link Deco M4 units connected to my Virgin hub (now as a modem rather than a router) My 2 SONOS 5 speakers no longer connect by wifi. If I hardwire one SONOS 5 to the first Deco with an ethernet cable I can get it to work but I am unclear how I would connect the other. On line help is a bit uncertain about what can be done. If I add a network switch to the first Deco does that mean I have more ports that act as if they were part of the main Deco and so will support 2 SONOS 5's? Probably a question I need to direct at TP-Link. i.e. If I add the switch and plug my Sonos speakers into two if these network switch ports will they work? I ask before I purchase a switch and drill 15" holes through two walls to enable hard wiring of the SONOS 5's Do I have other options? I thought having Deco mesh would solve my wifi issues but more have developed! [My previous Powerline extenders had failed after several years, and no amount of experimentation got them working again, so

Hi All,I am having major issues with Spotify and trying to track down my premium account. When I log into spotify it only shows that I have a free account, when my sonos account (linked via the same email) enables me to see all my playlists etc. I am also being charged each and every month via direct debit. Firstly the direct messaging an advisor at spotify thing has proved completely un helpful so far and the support almost making me feel like it’s dodgy/scam like. Anyway, I thought I’d try here as I’m struggling to find a solution anywhere else - has anyone ever had this issue? I’m at a loss as to who to speak to or where to get advice. If anyone has any ideas or suggestions I’d be very welcome. Cheers

When I stream my local radio, sometimes it rewinds exactly 3 hours and I can hear earlier program. Shut down and restart the speaker, the streaming comes back to normal. What is the problem?

Can I combine the Beam Sound Bar with two One speakers for surround sound

Three node mesh network, the single speakers (one move, one One, and one Three) are fine, but the Living Room / TV group will skip when streaming Spotify and will skip when playing TV audio.Diagnostic 2115789485Have done resets of router / mesh, reset & reinstalled Sonos app, power cycled everything…. sometimes power cycling the TV beam / group will help for a bit.  Aggravating!!

HiI have a room with my LG OLED TV eARC connected an Arc SL soundbar with a Gen 3 sub.  I want to complete surround for rear speakers.   Would there be any difference with One SLs vs Era 100s for my setup?

I’ve been using the Last.fm service on the Sonos app to scrobble songs played through my speakers, it’s obviously very useful and it works well, but it never submits the “Now Playing” notification on my Last.fm profile; it only displays the scrobble after the song has ended.I would say this problem is very miniscule and not a real “problem,” but every other scrobbler has the capability to send “Now Playing” notifications to Last.fm and they have a guide on how to add it on their API docs.I was wondering if this is ever a planned addition. It’d be really nice to have my friends be able to see what I’m listening to at the moment and not after the song is finished. Thank you!

Hi,We own Sonos Arc and we are looking to buy 2 speakers. We live in an apartment.Ideally we would like to install wall or ceiling speakers but not sure if there are any disadvantage comparing the free standing Sonos speakers?ThanksRay

Hello All,I was fighting an issue that ultimately turned out to be my main router having an issue, but I did discover that I could not connect my Sonos devices to my 5GHz network because it had an underscore in the name. Once I took the underscore out, it connected fine, but I hate the way the network name looks now lol. Is there a list of acceptable special characters in an wifi SSID for Sonos devices?

Is it possible to use the Sonos app to trigger a Sonos Move to enter BLE pairing mode instead of pushing the physical pairing button on the back?

Is it okay to keep the subwoofer above the ground rather than keeping it under the ground 

My Sonos Arc worked great for the better part of a year, but about an hour ago it started to continuously send Volume Down commands over HDMI - or that is at least what it looks like.When playing streaming radio on the Arc nothing out of the ordinary happens with the sound (it works normally with a steady volume) - BUT the TV is continuously reporting volume down commands.It doesn't seem te be the TV that causes it, as restarting it caused it to enter Safe Mode - which  normally happens when you keep pressing Volume Down. To rule out the TV remote, I removed it's batteries.Unplugging the Sonos HDMI cable results in immediate normal behaviour of the TV.When this happens, the Sonos app also shows the volume going down. The light on the Arc flashes.Any idea what's going on here? I created a diagnostics report; it number is 1255298220.

I asked this question over in the sonos reddit forum and others are having same issues so thought I would bring over here.What are people using for their usb charger for the Sonos move? I attempted to use my MacBook pros charger but it didn’t work. I have the 60watt brick but from what I read it should be able to still work.So then I read it might be the cord as they have chips in them and knowing Apple they locked their cord down. So I bought an anker power line 3.1 usb c cable and tried it with the MacBook brick again and it still didn’t work.So before I keep buying and returning curious if anyone has had success with certain chargers with the move. I’m trying to connect a used play 3.  I reset the speaker several times, the Sonos 2 app only recognized it after I connected it with an Ethernet cable.  The app sees it now but only gets to the prompt “press the mute button on the speaker you wish to connect”. I press the button and after it times out I get the message saying the button was not pressed.  

Can I connect Sonos Play:3 Speakers to my laptop?

Hi all, one question please…At the moment I have 1 ERA 300 and Beam 2. Given that I don't have the possibility of using 2 ERA 300s as surround because I don't have power sockets behind the sofa, so I was thinking of buying 2 MOVE2s.Can they be used as surround sound?thanks a lot.Michele

Hi all,I use my Sonos products to play music from Spotify. Previously I was able to do this directly through Spotify by just selecting the device/s to play through. This randomly stopped working a couple of months ago and now I can only play through the Sonos app (which unfortunately is clunky with Spotify). There is some connection still, as if I’m playing music on Spotify (either on my laptop or phone) but then start playing it through Sonos, it’ll stop playing on Spotify (or vice versa). I had changed home internet (from NBN to 5G WiFi) however the above issue didn’t arise until a month or two after this. I’ve tried:factory resetting a speaker & setting up again  uninstalling & reinstalling Spotify & Sonos apps on my phone  turning off devices & phone/laptop and back on again  checked all on same network, they are, it’s 2.4ghz.Would appreciate any advice or tips, thank you!
