There is a half wall behind my couch, and the kitchen behind that-- so I can’t get a good, ear level placement.  My setup is Arc/sub/2x ERA 300s.  I’m thinking the best move at this point is to ceiling mount the Era 300s. If doing that, where should they be relative to the couch/people? 

I have two play:1s that were connected to a previous system on a previous WiFi Network, they have now moved and need to connect to a new system on a new network.  I have factory reset them so the LEDs are flashing green but when I go to add the product they do not appear after waiting a considerable amount of time (5 mins)  There is a Sonos Ray already on the system and works fine, all devices are connected using Ethernet cable to a switch and the switch is flashing green so they are all live.  Any suggestions on why they aren’t showing up when I go to add the product? Have tried Resets, Reboots and the sort.. 

How do I select a programme from a BBC station schedule in the Sonos app on iPhone?I’m trying to access programmes on BBC Radio 4, but I can’t find BBC schedules in the Sonos app.I can easily listen live and I can browse through a vast number of categories to find an interesting programme, but I can’t navigate to, for example, the programme that was on at 10 this morning.In the BBC Sounds app you can go directly to the schedule to select a programme.Of course I could do just that, but for some reason my iPhone can no longer stream to Sonos speakers via Airplay.

Hi, I have 2 Sonos One’s, a Play:3, a Connect and a Bridge. I have the Connect - connected to my computer through Line In and the Connect has the Line Out going into another 2.1 speaker system.  I am having trouble with my Connect. I can use it either as a Line In to play music from the computer to the Sonos One and Play3 (with the Line Out disconnected), or I can use Airplay from the Sonos One to play music to the Line Out speakers. However, as soon as I try to play another from the Line In to Line Out - there is a buzzing sound and there is no music out of the Line Out speakers, while the music still plays in the other speakers.  How can I resolve this problem?  

I have several Sonos Connects on my home network. I have a Sonos account and so does my wife. Is it possible for both of us to have our own account on one Sonos system?Thanks, Brad

I have just added an extra sub 3 to my arc , 2 x Eros 300 and existing sub 3. After the set up Sonos updated the software. Now the volume is so low. I previously had the base on about -4 as was great if needed it louder and now with the extra sub and update I have to have it on + 9 or 10 to get the base. Also the volume I have to now have the system on is 100% when listing to say music and can’t get any louder when before I had it on 70% and it was lovely and loud. Why by adding an additional sub 3 has the system now gone quieter as this was the whole reason why I wanted an extra sub to boost my sound as I have a very large living room and like to have the sound loud. Please help. 

Hi - I have two Era300s, a spotify account and Philips Hue lights set up for a disco night.  So I need the lights flashing/beating in order to have the disco party.  I control the playlist through the spotify account which in turn links the sound to the sonos speakers and hue lights togetherProblem - I cannot crossfade the songs when using the spotify app on my android phone AND philips hue lights are synced.  Does anyone know how crossfade works in this situation?(crossfade works fine if just using the sonos app & spotify, but bring Philips Hue into the equation, and the crossfade option is “faded out” on the spotify app under user settings)Its doing my head in because when a song finishes, the philips hue lights return to ‘normal’ for about 10 seconds and only start flashing/beating when the next song starts, so there is this ‘gap’ between songs.  Crossfading would stop this as there isnt a natural end to one song, and start to another - it all gets mixed together. Hope someone c

Has anyone encountered a problem where audio (specifically with 5.1 content) will occasionally have the channels mixed up? I will occasionally get all audio sent to the surrounds when using both Disney+ and Netflix, but only with 5.1 content. If I change the audio format from passthrough to auto it seems to help, but I am at a loss what is going on. I have reset both the TV and the Apple TV, which did not help. I also tested the Arc with another Apple TV and TV, and the issue persists. It seems like the Arc is having a problem decoding the 5.1 content. Setup:- LG C2- Apple TV- Sonos Arc + Sub Mini + Symfonisk Surrounds

Hi Everyone,I just set up Era 300 on the Era 300 stand but noticed the charging power cable for Er 300 now has a bit crack on the external rubber material of the cable. I can’t seem to find a cable accessory on Sonos website. Does anyone know where I can buy one?Thanks!

I have a Connect Amp (ZP120) for a few months now. Basically works very well, very happy with it.But...Spotify Connect falters about once or twice an hour on average. Stops playing and continues where it left off after about 5 to 10 seconds, in the middle of the songQuite irritating. I read that I'm not the only one and I think I followed the tips from elsewhere. Removed Spotify as a service and re-installed it. As it happens during songs, it can't be Spotify-ads (I'm using Spotify Premium).Switching the network connection from wired to WiFi makes no difference either. No problem with all other connections to the same network.What else can I do to resolve this problem? Internet radio and playing my own content on my NAS work without any problems. Spotify from the Sonos S1 app also seems to work well, but is a lot less practical and user-friendly then the Spotify Connect.I'm curious if anyone knows anything that could lead to an improvement/solution. Hi ThereNew owner of 2x Era 300’s, Arc & Gen 3 Sub.Looking for advice on the positioning of the Era 300’s. As you can see from the photo I’ve temporarily positioned them on small stands so they are behind my listening position. However this is restricting the downward firing speakers and I need to consider long term solution.The bookcase is a hindrance although I could look to move this to the other side of the room and consider wall mounting but that would mean speakers aren’t positioned behind me but to the side.Any advice/suggestions on location, mounting options etc welcome.ThanksJeremy   

Currently have a Rega turntable with Rega Phono Mini connected to a Play 5 Line in using RCA cablesi want to add a CD player to the set up (either with integrated amp or a separate amp)Can anyone suggest the best way to do this - do I go down the RCA switch route (2 in - Turntable and CD player 1 out - to Play 5 ) or is there a better way of connecting to the 5  

I have 3 Sonos One’s and a Sonos Move that I use regularly.   Today, I had to move one of my Sonos One speakers which involved unplugging it.   Since that time, they have been out of sync.  That is, the controller on iOS vs MacOS are playing different speakers.  Even after a time, they have not sync’d up and it’s very frustrating (and disappointing).I restarted each Sonos application, that has had no impact, and the Sonos application and firmware is up to date on all.   I power cycled my iOS device (iPhone 15 Pro), no effect.   When I did this, I played my music from iOS, but even restarting the MacOS app shows that nothing is playing.My network is very, very simple.  There’s one /24 LAN, the WIFI router is literally just 10 feet away.This feels like a software bug I’m hitting -- as I would expect the speakers to sync back, however the proprietary Sonos protocol operates.Anyone know what the problem is?   

I currently have a Beam and two One SL speakers for my family room. I just purchased Era 100 speakers. I know Sonos has a limitation for only two surround speakers. I can group two rooms to include all of the speakers, but then the remote can’t control the volume. (Using the Sonos app isn’t practical)  My question is if I can use Apple TV to stream and control the volume?  I’ve seen some threads on this but it didn’t include my specific scenario. Thanks!

Hi - new to Sonos (just got a Sonos One!).This is probably a basic question, but can’t figure it out. I set up the Sonos One very easily. I downloaded the Sonos app and added my Spotify account.So far, so good. However, I’d like to add my kids’ Spotify accounts to the Sonos One too. They have their own Spotify logins and their own devices.When I try to add another Spotify account on the Sonos app, it just tries to add my own (existing) account. I then get an error message saying that the account already exists.Anyone have any ideas what I’m doing wrong? I thought I may have to add the Sonos app to each of my kids accounts (logging in as myself on the Sonos app) - but is that necessary?Thanks in advance! 

Hello,I have Sonos Ray connected to the TV by Optical Line and IKEA Symfonisk Picture Speaker in another part of the room. Symfonisk is grouped with Ray as another room. When I turn on the sound on TV, Ray is playing. Then I want to stream this audio to Symfonisk, so I opening a Sonos App, and checkbox the Symfonisk in playing now tab. And nothing happening, despite Sonos App is showing playing animation next to Symfonisk name. If I want to fix it, I have to go to network tab and manually connect SYMFONISK to router once again. When it finish connecting to router it automatically start playing. And I have to do this almost every time. AirPlay is working fine and it streaming to both speakers every time without problems, so i assuming Symfonisk is connected to the router all the time.Thanks for help. Zuberator

Hello Everyone,I have two Era 100 paired in stereo, I want to buy the Sub Mini.My musical source is Plex with Plexamp not with Sonos app, I play the music with Plexamp and the AirPlay mode, I wanted to know if the Sub Mini will be active with the two Era 100 when I’ll play the music in AirPlay mode with Plexamp ?Thank you for your help and your feedback.Kind regards.

HDMI 4 (arc) connector on tv does not work with the provided hdmi Sonos cable

How can I connect my new Era 300 to my surround set up if all the other speakers in the 5.1 are connected by Boost? Outside of Boost, I have to reconnect some of my speakers almost daily back to my network. Network is Deco(TP link) XE75 pro (Mesh). Any suggestions for improving Wifi connection or getting my Era 300 on the same system. thanks

Hey all!New to Sonos and I find it a bit confusing. I went through multiple articles but I’m not able to figure this one out. I got Audio technica turntable with preamp and an LG C2. Currently, I have my ARC connected to my TV via ARC HDMI port and audio is working fine there however , my turntable which is connected to AMP (red and black cable to IN)  is not working. in Sonos APP initially my ARc was set to Livingroom and amp to Livingroom2 which I thought was an issue and I tried to force it to be in the same room by renaming. This still does not work. I tried adding surrounds to AMP as well but it does not detect ARC. What am I missing here? Any help is greatly appreciated!  

My old cable box had a RCA outputs that I was able to connect to my Connect: Amp.  My new one does not have any RCA outputs, only an ethernet port.  Is there any way to connect the Connect: Amp to the cable box, or directly to the TV?  If not, what are my best options? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Recently i Get a Sonos Frame from Ikea to be used in my homeoffice space. The laptop speakers are crap and the extended monitor are very bad with human voices.  Manyof the videoconferences are complicated to hear because the people talks in very reververant spaces that makes me use headphones. I was figuing out is there will be teh chance to use my Sonos speaker as an audio otput for the Windows PC?This will increase my audio health diminussing the use of headphones at work.

so i added an addiotion speaker to my TV set up, as a group as you cnan have trhee surround spreakers,  That taditional speaker was showing as part of te group and working fine, but the audio dropped.  So i chatted with support and they advised a need to power off and on .  i did that and now its gone from the group and the app says you need three rooms now.  A ploy to sell more spreakers  or reduce past functionality.  tey did this with the removal of the ability to play from your tablet memory,  so I bought a NAS, theyen the app for the Nas was withdrawn  and not this.  Someone in Sonos knows how to annoy its customers,  Should I have gone with BOSE!! Any one else had this or has a work around. The group funtion is unavailable on the app so i can reinstate.  I can t see a news release on the system upgrade”
