Using Amp for turntable and surrounds

I have read some discussions of this, but I am confused. I understand that when you set up Amp with wired speakers as back surround speakers that you cannot access line-in for a turntable. I’m trying to figure out if there is a work around for that. Like setting up 2 different rooms (even though they are in the same room) and somehow toggling between the set-up that I want for movies using my wired back speakers (which is most of the time) and the set-up needed to listen to a turntable.

There is no workaround.  You would need to reconfigure the Amp each time you want to switch between the two configurations.
