Goodnight. I bought a Sonos One SL and every time I try to register, in the update stage it appears error 1101. I researched that this error is related to the update. I've already changed and restarted the routers and I still can't do it. Help me please?.

 Hello Sonos community.  I have been having serious issues and difficulties with my Sonos for a long time, and I am desperately hopeful that I can find some solutions here.  I will provide as much detail as possible.  My setup: Two (2) Play 3s, one (1) Roam, and one (1) Connect Amp, which is hard wired to speakers and a record player.  I have had the Play 3s and the Connect Amp for about ten years.  I use the S2 app on my Samsung phone.  We mostly listen to Spotify, but I also have a music library on my computer's hard drive.  We listen to vinyl records as well. Over a year ago, I started having playback issues, where the music would cut in and out, sometimes in one room but not the others, an sometimes all of the rooms at the same time.  It got so bad that we could not listen comfortably at all.  In addition, the responsiveness on the app was generally very slow.  While music is playing, I open the app to adjust the volume or pause, and the song title showing is incorrect (it shows a

If I buy a Sonos soundbar can my in-ceiling speakers (powered by an Amp in the basement) be somehow linked to be surrounds?  If so, which soundbar should I get? Thanks!  

How come the latest update to the Sonos App is only available for iPhone and not for iPad?

hi I’m trying to install & use sonos2 app. I’m being asked to sign in using an email address that I dont recognise nor have password for. How do I solve this?

For years I have enjoyed KUSC (a wonderful classical music station) on Sonos through TuneIn. Today it seems to be unavailable, but a window appears on the Sonos site requesting a subscription for an enhanced version of TuneIn to continue. Offering three months free and then $5.99 per month thereafter. Is having a subscription the only way I will be able to receive KUSC on TuneIn now?If this is really the case, wouldn’t it have been great to have Sonos or TuneIn notify us that this is coming, so we can understand the apparent stoppage and new subscription requirement without the last half-hours working through the Sonos and TuneIn apps?Is subscribing and paying the only way I can get TuneIn through Sonos now?

The only way I could connect my Connect and Move so that they would be in perfect sync with each other was to have my two devices (turntable and CD player) go through a splitter then to the Connect and THEN to my receiver. The only downside of that was a 2 second delay so on the CD player having music start or stop 2 seconds later wasn't a big deal but it was weird putting the needle down on a record and not hearing anything for two seconds. But today I went to put a record on and…. NO delay?!?! Was something updated without my noticing it??

Hi can someone please advise me please my system keeps loosing connection on my phone then a few days later it will show all my speakers then go off again this has been happening for a few weeks. I have reset all my speakers but it keeps happening contacted Sonos on the phone for over two and a half hours reset everything from WiFi unplugged everything got it going  ten minutes later no connection this is driving me mad can someone please help me

I did the mistake of updating the Sonos app on my iPhone, resulting in losing the ability to play music on my Roam. The Roam shows up in the list of players, but I can’t make it play anything. When trying, the play button shows a spinning circle for a while, then the app states that an error occurred (no shit, Sherlock). Luckily, I haven’t update the app on my iPad, so I can play on the Roam from there.I’ve tried resetting the app, but that didn’t help.Any advise, or do I just wait for the app to get updated?

How do you install a second Sonos system

Hi, I still cannot trueplay tune my playbase using my iPad 9.Gen.If I try, the wrong dialog is comming up.There is no “tuning twice”. The app tries to starts right with the “Then, you’ll walk wit your iPhone...” part, but softlocks the moment I tap on “begin tuning”.If I borrow an iPhone, I can trueplay tune this PlabaseIf I use my iPad for my none Home Theatre speaker, trueplay tuning is possible.Any news on that?I have an open ticket with support, but never herad back from them. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------  

I don’t know if this is correlation or causation, but after upgrading my products to current versions I’m having audio dropouts all over the house. My normal triage is to power-cycle speakers, power-cycle router and Boost, and check for Wi-Fi channel conflict between home network and Sonosnet. The first two have no effect. The last is not possible because I can find no way to do so in the iPhone or Mac app.I notice that the Boost is no longer sold. Is it still supported? Will removing the Boost and converting to a wired network fix my audio problem?

I want to move my AMP to a new network. So factory reset the AMP and go in the App to add new component. It finds the AMP and after 20 seconds, when he tries to configure my App on Android crashes. I tried the same on my Ipad. There he asks the code on the bottem of the device and after adding I get a message that something went wrong.So since two days no music in my kitchen. Any suggestion what I should do and don’t say like your BOT to try the installation again. Did it in the meanwhile 20 times without succes.

Now that updated Sonos app is working can we get a variable sleep timer? Like allow any minute increment instead of a minimum of 15? Thanks for considering!

I have two Play:5’s (gen 2) that I can’t create a stereo pair with. They are both on my system and the app says they are fully updated but when I try to pair them, I get an unhelpful, generic error message. Has anyone been able to troubleshoot a similar problem?

Can my Sonos be connected to my smart tv

Hello, just a quick question hopefully. Some great deals right now on the Sonos Era 100s and just wanting to know viability of having a setup as per the image I have included (I wish I was able to layout the space the way I wanted, but I don’t have creative control, Ha!)Just looking to potentially add some Era’s as surrounds, never had a surround setup before and just wondering if this will work/be a viable option? Many thanks in advance.Regards,Mike 

I have a fairly complex system (8 speakers, 2 subs, 3 ports) using a dedicate Boost network that has become a nightmare since the recent update. I have had it for several years and while sometimes some updates are touch and go, it has been mainly very stable. But since the last software update, I have zones constantly coming in and out, sometimes the entire zone, sometimes just the sub and all of it randomly. I have tried resetting the Boost. I have tried unplugging all the speakers and plugging them again. Nothing really works. Nightmare. I hope a fix is coming soon

BBC sounds is working fine on my Sonos. Before about a month ago, I could set my Sonos alarm to be a prog that I had subscribed to via BBC sounds / My sounds / Subscribed / select the subscribed set of shows / select the show. A month ago, the above stopped at the ‘Subscribed’ screen with no way to then ‘select the subscribed set of shows’.  This was on both my Samsung phone and the Windows PC app. Any idea why I cannot now select one of my subscribed programmes? Note this goes for all the options from the My Sounds page - the ‘subscribed’, ‘continue listening’ and ‘latest’.  None of them expand to show the selection of shows.  If I just go with selecting ‘subscribed’, the alam does not work and I get a standard Sonos chime in the morning.Help!  Please!!Many thanks.

I have just purchased 2 Era 300 speakers, I want to use them as surround speakers, I have an Arc and a Sub, the Arc is wired to the router, but one of the Era 300 speakers just won’t connect, nothing works, it’s semi recognized by the system, because I can try making changes in the Network portion of the Sonos app (the leds on it light up) , but nothing works 😞Does anyone have any ideas?

After successfully adding a new speaker to an existing system, I can select it in the group volume and select Apply. However, no sound plays through the new speaker and the app displays “Unable to connect. Try again later.” Music plays on the other speakers fine. Pressing the speaker volume buttons does change the app volume slider, so the speaker is recognized.Configuration. Today’s iOS app download. New speaker is Roam2.This is reproduced from a second iPhone. This also happened on another system and network last week.

I just bought the system, I have 2 era 100, arc, and sub gen 3, it's sound amazing, but my question is, I want to use only the era for listening music before I sleep, because they are near and side by side my bed... I thought make another room and put only the eras in ti, but I can't find the way... If hope you can help me with this, 

Greetings everyone! One of my Era 300 speakers, which was setup on a stereo pair, had to be disconnected to move the connecting cable around a new furniture unit. It then would not join the stereo pair back up again when plugged back in, with the app showing (L+?), as the R speaker was missing.It also would not even show up on the app, no matter what I did (try to search for it in the app, tried adding again as new, etc). Resetted the speaker and re-added it, but then told me they had different software versions between the app and speaker, and would not add it as stereo pair and greyed out the options to add stereo pair.I then resetted both speakers and they started adding as stereo pair, only to then fail again, telling me there was a problem and to check the network connection (no other info). I then resetted them again and managed to add them as stereo pair, but when doing the true play tuning, it would fail halfway through, telling me it was unable to custom tune the Era 300, and

I use 2 play1s and a connect amp with 1 ERA 100. They have been working together for a while but tonight they will no longer connect in a group. Each will work alone, except for the connect amp which seems to have disappeared altogether. What can I do?

Am looking at buying in to Sonos - not sure whether it will be and ERA 100 pair or a single 300. I will probably hard wire the speakers in but will also want to connect a turntable. Looking at a single speaker installation, is that possible or is it either/or in terms of ethernet cable or turntable? With dual speakers I imagine all will be well.THanksColin
