Alexa and Google Assistant are not supported on Sonos in India.

To add a little to the advice from @almazri The Sonos soundbars are the same product for both locations but the geographical coverage from Google and Amazon stop the voice control working in India.

To get voice control in India you would need to carry out the following steps:

1. Create a Amazon Account whilst in the US with a US address
2. Setup your product in the US and enter a US address within your Sonos profile
3. Use a VPN after returning to India and set your location as the US

This will enable Voice Control to work in India, although location related questions to the voice assistant will obviously not work!

One other minor factor - if other posts here are correct, you may find that the supplied mains cable for the domestic US market is not rated for use at 230V, so it may be inadvisable to just cut off the mains plug and fit a local one.

This is not always trivial to solve if the plug at the other end is a very specific shape (as it is on some Sonos/Ikea products), as a “generic” IEC mains cable may not fit.
