After resetting the Arc (like i did with the Five after my app could not find a system...) the Arc does not play the chime/sound needed in order to complete the setup.The app does see the Arc… i just cannot finish the connection.The Arc is factory resetted and the green light is flashing, ready to go...

As from the screenshot, the settings of surround has disappeared from Sonos app. Anybody knows something about it? There is no more the possibility to set rear speakers volume and distance. Thx 

Hi All,  I am running a Mac Using Ventura 13.6.7 (it auto updated grr) and in the update the sonos app updated to S2 v16.2 on the desktop and can no longer connect to the music library on the mac so I can no longer play all of the music I have stored. It seems that this might be an issue that has been around for a little while from reading the threads but there seems to be no resolution. Can anyone advise a solution or work around.  Many thanks  

Not a fan of the new app, but I listened to a playlist on Apple Music this morning. And a saw a Lossless logo on one of the songs. It came and went and hasn’t showed up for other songs, but thought it was interesting.  Is lossless playback coming?  Was it already here and I missed it?  

After the May update to the SONOS app (S2), I was able to update my Playbar to S2 software. However, now S2 cannot see the device. What can I do? I am trying to add Sonos One Gen2 to my Sonos app. However, every time I try to add it, it fails at the firmware update. It tried a second time, and fails again. It allows me to continue, but the Sonos isn’t added to the Sonos app to manage.  -I’ve rebooted my modem -I’ve rebooted the Sonos -I’ve rebooted my phone -I’ve reset the app-I’ve factory reset the Sonos one gen 2 -I’m as close as I can get to the modem, I’ve also tried disabling the 5Ghz antenna-I’ve signed out and in of the Sonos appI can’t get the Sonos added to my app no matter what I do. Please help. 

So I can’t simply play music from a folder from my 5000$ computer.. Sonos can well and truly F $ R K OFF I will deposit this rubbish out the window and spend weeks advertising you cant play your own music on this junk. pay thousands for a full set up and error 913.

Trying to connect to WD EX2ULTRA NAS Drive. Was getting an error that pointed to adding an entry to the Register which I did. However I still cannot connect.  Now get:Sonos was unable to add the music folderPlease check that the path to the folder, and the username and password if needed, are correct.Reason: Access to the shared folder “\\MYCLOUDEX2ULTRA\Public\Shared Music\iTunes” is denied.This is successfully connected to iTunes on my PC running Windows 11.Have also tried with “\\MYCLOUDEX2ULTRA\Public\Shared Music\iTunes\iTunes Media” and just Shared Music.Please advise.

It’s been a week since you pushed out one of the worst app updates in history. You flat out broke a lot of peoples systems and even if you are among the lucky ones who got it working you got performance problems and a massive loss of features. Roll it back, NOW.

What should the behavior of the status light be on the Sonos Ace headphones? My understanding is that when you aren’t wearing them you should see the status light illuminated. If so, that is not what I am currently observing. The only time I see the status light is when I turn on or off the headphones. It will turn blue for a second. Or when I have it plugged in to charge it shows a solid orange light (only when device is turned off). I have tried leaving the headphones on and forgetting the bluetooth connection to my phone. Should this not show a solid white light? Again, this is not what I am experiencing.

I often have trouble with the new app connecting to our system. The app also randomly adjusts the volume of our speakers and sometimes removes speakers from groups. I’ve tried using the system update option in the app but that has not corrected the problems.

Have a spotiy premium family account with 5 users. How do I add each user to sonos app so they can listen to their own playlists?

how do I get my new Sonos Ace headphones to connect to my Arc without cutting sound on my Arc. I need to listen independently from the family please?

I bought a Sonos arc and just want to add it to my Sonos app, when I follow all the steps until I can select my location (after connecting to the network) then I get the 1.101 error. And the device is not showing in the app. when I then download the Sonos s1 app it recognizes the arc soundbar but an error shows ‘not compatible’. I don’t understand why it shows on the s1 app, but I can’t do anything with it, and  on my normal Sonos app it doesn’t show…  already tried factory resetting, restarting router, deleting app,…. anyone the same issue and has a solution??

I have changed my surrounds from one sl to era 300 .since then I can not add alexa on my beam mic saying off ,mic saying on both era unable to switch off on era and can not switch on beam tried alexa enabled skill settings switched back on still no joy 

Hi - With the app update I can’t seem to turn off the alarm I set a couple of days ago (I won’t get into how unhappy I am that it wasn’t made clear that we’d lose this functionality). The help notes are saying to go to the web app and click on alarms from the select a music source pane - I’m on the web app but I can’t find any thing to click on. I’ve been trying for two days to figure this out…. Any help appreciated as I don’t want to wake up at 5:30am for the rest of my life.  Thank you!

I have Play3s in my living room (for music only) but need a soundbar, and I’d like to use them all for my TV now. I read somewhere that if I use the Arc with my Play3s, there will be some sort of delay. Is that true?

Just updated the Sonos app on my ipad, and do not see a way to link to my itunes music library. How can I do this?

Is there a way to go back to S1 (or any other version other than the latest piece of crap)? I’m on Android. I tried uninstalling the current version and choosing an older version, which did install, but once I open it I get a dialog to upgrade to S2 and there I can’f find a way around that. I tried the Reset System option to see if that was the trick but it just keeps you in a never ending upgrade loop. 

I am unable to add my Ray sound bar to my System; my two One SL speakers are still working fine over WiFi.I bought all three back in December 2022 and everything was working fine until a few weeks ago, when the Ray no longer appeared in the Sonos app (iOS). It was still working as a sound bar for my TV, but I couldn’t control it with my Sonos app. I can see and control the One SL speakers with the Sonos app, but the Ray will not complete registration and cannot be added to my system. I have done the factory-reset process on the Ray about 7 times, using the Sonos app on my iPhone.  It goes through the ‘Add Speaker or Component’ process until it gets to the end where it wants to register the Ray to my System and it says “There was a problem adding your Ray to your system. Try again later.” I click Done and under my System it shows the Ray, but with an exclamation point and directing me to Fix It. When I try to fix it as directed, it gives me the same “There was a problem adding your Ray”

My Sonos system is not letting me listen to any songs via Napster. The Sonos system is working fine via Sonos Radio but failing to bring any songs through via Napster. I tried the Napster App and is working fine as its own entity. Disconnected from Sonos and reinstated but no luck. I then tried to connect Apple Music but wouldn’t connect to sonos. Can you point me in the right direction of sorting this? When browsing Napster via Sonos all menus are empty .

(running Android IOS) since updating my old sonos system (June 25/2024)to the new version on the app, its constantly asking for a software update. I click on it and the app states that its all “ up to date” then reverts back to the screen asking for a software update. I can not get into the app its a constant cycle that wont go away! i have deleted the app , forced it to stop then restarted the app, I have tried up plugging everything even the router to no avail. this is very frustrating, I even forced closed the update from the app store and its still the same! no one at Sonos help has any answers I figured I would put it out here.   I was so happy using my S1 app it worked fine before i was forced to update it all….now this BS, I am ready to start looking at other stereo products does anyone have an answer to this or had similar issues?

All … basic Sonos app grouping question. So, app functionality seems to have broken since the update. Here is my setup. (3) Rooms.  Room (1) Living Room with Sonos Arc, Sub, and Left/Right One SL surrounds.  Room (2) Office1 with a single One SL.  Room (3) Office2 with a single One SL.  So, while streaming Pandora music from my Smart TV in the living room, all seems ok in Room (1).  But, if I try to group in Office1 and Office2 to listen to the same music, everything goes silent and I lose control of where the Pandora output is pointed.  The only way to remedy change the grouping to the Living Room, shutting off my TV and turning back on.  In the past, I could easily add/remove rooms from the group and the music would stream perfectly fine.  Thoughts on why this is?  Do I need to re-set up all my room configurations since the app updates?  Any advice would be appreciated!  Thanks all!
