I have a house literally full of Sonos…please please explain why your App is sooo poor?  Cant search Amazon Music or Spotify Cant change volume Can’t change roomscan do all of above on Alexa…however funnily enough sound quality isn’t quite the same …Please please sort it out!

Just picked up a discounted roam 2 and I am having a HECK of a time getting it to work like a sonos speaker.Aside: I’ve learned done research at this point and learned about the issues with the controller app update. I didn’t actually touch the sonos apps often - mostly just played directly to my previous One SL from apps or airplay. When that speaker stopped working recently I sold it and used the money to buy this one.I mention the SL because I assumed it was no longer working due to being out of production, or maybe because I had recently switched to mesh (TP-Link Deco) wifi.Long story short, i got the new Roam 2 to connect to my mesh wifi in 2 or 3 tries yesterday (after a factory reset and logging out of the app, first setup failed on ‘need to update your Roam’). Then this morning app says it doesn’t detect my system. I’ve tried to add it with factory reset and logout 4 or 5 times, and i’ve gone into my mesh wifi settings to tell the router to keep this devices on the 2.4ghz netwo

Until today, my SiriusXM service in Sonos was working perfectly. Now, none of the channels work. I tried to reauthorize my Sirius account. Didn’t help. I removed the account and tried adding my Sirius account again. I’m in Canada so I selected the Sirius XM Canada option. I enter my username and password and it says “Connection error. There was a problem adding the SiriusXM Canada account.” There’s nothing wrong with my credentials and I can log into Sirius. So I tried adding SiriusXM (not the Canadian one). This time it works, but all the Sirius channels are greyed out after the service is added. Anyone know what’s going on?My Sonos is working fine other than that and I can use other music Services like Amazon, Apple Music...

Hi there,I have several Sonos products on my network (ERA100, ERA300, ...). I purchased and set up a Sonos Beam Gen 2 about 2 months ago.  For a few days now, the white LED on the Sonos cover has been blinking and the device no longer appears in the Sonos application.The Sonos is not connected to the ISP's modem/router wifi. I have a mesh WIFI Orbi to which all my devices are connected. No changes have been made recently.I tried to recover it using the 'missing products' feature in the Sonos application. No luck. At the end of the search, the application tells me that it didn't find the device.I also tried resetting the Sonos Beam to factory defaults. I plugged in the power cord while holding down the 'join' button (from a few seconds to 1 minute). The LED never flashed orange (and therefore never turned green). In fact, the LED always flashed 'white' during operation.Conclusion: the Sonos Beam 2 does not appear in the Sonos application. The 'missing products' process in the applicatio

I’ve recently moved house and changed WiFi networks.  I’ve followed all the steps in resetting the 3 speakers I have and connecting them to the app - the app confirms every time I’ve tried that they’re now connected, plays the chimes etc etc. Also when deleting the app and reinstalling to see if it would work it identified all my speakers on the network when signing in. However, I still can’t view ANY of my devices on the app, it still shows as ‘No products found’ even after it’s just confirmed they’ve been added… I’ve tried resetting the WiFi, deleting and re downloading the app, factory resetting all the devices again and still at a loss. Tried support chat but nobody is available and nobody is answering the phone lines.  If anyone could please help that’s maybe had this issue before 🙏🏻

After returning to house having been away for 4 days all my music services are gone! They are grayed out and non functional. Tried to add Apple, Prime and Sirius and in every case it won’t work…says try again!! Any idea what is wrong now with this crappy app??

I want to spread the expenditure.  One criteria is to minimise the time I am using two apps.  The Play 1 will work with the S2 app, I believe.   Should I therefore makes the change to Era 100 last.  I am tempted to go in this order:-Connect to Port Play 5 to Five Play 1 to Era 100Any ideas?

HiIn a fiber-optic 300 mbps speeds home (2 adults audio stream constant, tv stream night, no need for fa$ter) with 10 Sonos speakers (beam 1 and 2, sonos play 1, sonos 1, move 1, two boosts, etc) I have a couple that drop often. Currently one beam 1st gen is ethernet-plugged to gateway (router) as Boost stop being recognized since the (controversial) launch of the new app. I’d like to put the Boost back to work and to assure that I am on Sonos Net. There is an old post related to the topic but everything seems new since new app (controller) started messing up (macOS -no search! and black background only, iOS don’t even ask me gotta update my phone just to make this work semi-right, ipadOS.. I was saving old app but was force-updated, darn, etc.)  Would you please explain how to switch to SonosNet in this Sonos’ app new world?With 30 minute holds for tech support and no refreshed tutorial on forum or YouTube using logical keywords to no avail.  Hi everyone,I'm reaching out to this community because I'm at my wit's end with my Sonos system. When it works, it's absolutely amazing – the sound quality is top-notch, and I've invested in quite a few of their products over the years. However, the reliability issues have become unbearable.For the past few months, even before the recent app update, I've been experiencing constant problems. Music often won't stream at all, it stops mid-play, some speakers refuse to connect, and sometimes I can't connect at all. These issues are making the system practically unusable, which is incredibly frustrating given the amount of money and effort I've put into it.I'm now considering alternatives to Sonos. Can anyone recommend a different setup that offers similar sound quality but with better reliability? I'm open to all suggestions, whether it's another multi-room system or even a different approach to home audio.Thanks in advance for your help!!!!

I have the Arc, amp and various Sonos speakers around the house. Linked to the system is an Innuos Zen Mini 3 which holds my music collection.All I want to be able to do is listen to my music while my wife watches the t.v. with her using the Arc.I have a Sonos Port which is not in use at the moment. Is it possible to achieve what I’d like to do if I use the Port, connect its output to something like an Ifi zen blue 3 transmitter. I then wirelessly link a pair of bluetooth headphones to the output of the Ifi giving me the freedom to listen to my music in an adjacent room or alongside her. Has anyone achieved this or have any other ideas?

Hi AllHoping you can helpWanting to upgrade my system to new Arc, sub and 2 x Era 300sI wondering whether it is better for real spatial / surround sound to mount the Era 300s on the wall - above and behind the couch, rather than on stands close to couch? It is quite a large room - approx 12m x 7mAm thinking of putting the Era 300s on the wall behind the couch (the wall is about 3.6m behind the couch)in the photos you can see the wall - with speakers would be attached above the glass balustrade at a height of about 2.4mI am also thinking of adding an Era 100 to the room setup above the dining table. So my question - wall mount the Era 300s? Or keep them closer to the couch on stands? Thanks!! 

Brand new user to Sonos. Downloaded the Sonos App to iPhone but was unable to use, as the button to accept terms of use button is greyed out. Have then downloaded Sonos App to iPad and been able to accept terms of use there and get started using new Sonos Roam. This is not ideal as wish to be able to use Sonos Roam when out of range of Wi-Fi in garden. Can anyone suggest fix to get the Sonos App working on iPhone so I can actually roam using my speaker. I have already checked/tried:Checking I am on latest version of IOS  Updating App by deleting and reinstalling  Deleting App rebooting iphone and reinstalling App

I have a Beam 2 and 2 x One SL’s in my living room, which I use for TV and music. I am about to take possession of 2 x Era 100’s for my conservatory, just for music.  I would like comments on whether to put the Era 100’s in my conservatory, as my original plan, or put the 2 Ones there and bring the Eras’ into the living room with the beam.  Thank you 😎

Hi,    Anyone experience any changes withthier APP and System just by changing DNS in router? I basically changed out Spectrums DNS to Cloudflare and it killed the functionality of my app and system.Thoughts?Thx 

My current setup: den with TV → Ethernet to Port input → RCA output to 5.1 receiver DVD input2 other Sonos Amps running various other speakers, and 1 Arc soundbar (on a different room’s TV) on my household Sonos ecosystem.  I have the den TV connected to the Port to enable TV sound over all Speakers throughout the house. My question is can I add a Phono / turntable to the existing Port using RCA, thereby connecting into the 5.1 receiver and integrating into the Sonos system? I would essentially have 2 inputs into the Port that way.Or would the better solution be to remove the den TV ethernet connection to Port, connect the Phono into the input side of the Port using RCA, and then when I want whole-house TV sound, utilize the soundbar from the other room’s TV?  My den TV’s picture is not always sync’d with other rooms TV’s so I’d prefer to keep it as the main source of Sonos TV whole-house sound if possible, because it is most likely the TV that we will be watching.

Hi,I have no previously created zones, would just click speakers on or off as needed from the list. But now I do need to create a Zone. How to do this in the new app? I can’t find anywhere to create Zones and Zone names. From other comments sounds like I’m not the only one having issues with the new app so I don’t feel too stupid. Yet. I have (4) Ones and (1) Roam. 

Hi everyone, First, let me introduce my setup.- Hisense C1 Projector- Apple TV 4K- Sonos Beam Gen 2 - Connected on the HDMI Arc with a 2.1 cable. Since 3 or 4 days i'm experienced some sound delay. Here my experiments : I try only the Projector with Beam, no problem.I try only the Projector’s built-in speaker and Apple TV, no problem.And the full setup Projector, Beam and Apple TV, sound delay close to 1sec after the image appears. I discovered through these 3 tests that only the 5.1 codec was a problem. No sound delay in Stereo or Atmos. (I didn’t try Beam in Airplay but this is not a solution). So i asking please some help cause i’m in a dead end. In case its help, the delay became after i try the Sonos Ace with Beam. Maybe the next 1 or 2 day. Since my tests i remove the Ace from my Beam.

As I powered on my Move 2 (on battery) this morning, I noticed the status light did not illuminate as per normal (usually goes white when connected to wifi).  Nonetheless it IS on wifi as it quite happily responded to ‘Alexa’ and played a radio station, and I can also see it in the app.Anyone else?  Is this a new software ‘feature’ that came with some recent update?  If so have to say I don’t like it, as my Move sits on a shelf where the top of the speaker is not visible, and I now can’t tell when it is powered on and connected!

Trying to conect roam to de app to configurate for first time.After sharing the wifi pasword and so on it shows a message (the screenshot below) and closes the app. I try to folow the steps this message indicates, but the device stays forever with the white led and it’s impossible to conect it again. I have to restart it to redo the hole process to end up in the same point of the message.If someone does know something about it, i would like to hear itThanks! The message is in spanish, it says Sonos roam has been added, but it may not appear in the system, in that case hold the power button 5s to power off, and then, power it on to continue the configuration form the system config.

Hi everyone, I’m having trouble with my Sony TV and soundbar setup. The soundbar occasionally stops producing sound when switching between different HDMI sources. Initially, it would only occur when switching from an HDMI source like my gaming console to a streaming app. The problem was temporarily fixed by toggling the TV's sound settings from HDMI to TV speakers and back. However, now the issue persists even when watching content directly from the TV’s internal apps. Sometimes, after an episode finishes, the sound doesn’t come back for the next one, and switching the sound source setting resolves it. I’m using HDMI ARC and passthrough, and have verified that all settings are correct. Despite following suggestions from both Sony and the soundbar manufacturer, including disabling various power-saving options, the issue remains unresolved. Has anyone else encountered this problem? Could it be related to HDMI handshake issues?

Since moving to the new Sonos app I regularly get a message on my iPhone telling me that “wifi isn’t connected” when I try to use the app. Wifi however is connected and the system can be turned on through other phones (which also randomly get this problem at different times). The solution currently is to wait for a random length of time….. seconds to an hour….. before the app decides to connect me to my system. The previous app was rock solid for wifi connection. This app is really flakey. Does anyone have a solution or share this problem?

Since the latest awful updates in the IOS app, I can no longer save speaker name changes as the useless ‘Playing Now’ window blocks the Save or Done button. I am trying to rename the ‘Patio’ speaker to ‘Office’. No combination of swipes or slides appears to hide that thing. If I click the back arrow, (the only visible option), the changes are discarded.I do NOT have Homekit or Alexa linked. How can I rename speakers now?I have the latest Sonos S2 build 80.05.04 running on an iPhone 15 Pro Max and all speakers are updated to current software.
