Hi - just about to press the button on a cinema set up (arc, era 3’s and sub) - to connect to a tv with eARC for surround sound and Dolby Atmos etc.. Question though - can you still use either the whole system or just the arc or just the era 300s to play music through from the sonos app (completely separate to the TV) when you don’t want the TV on - and just use them like any other Sonos speaker? Or does this set up ONLY work with the TV when it’s on? Thanks.

I have 2 speakers on a Sonos amp. Can I pair the amp with a Sonos 1? Also, can I pair a Sonos Move to them as well? 

Hello everyone,Since switching to the new version of the application, I no longer see my music library hosted on my Synology NAS. I know that I am on my network, since I can listen to music from the history, but impossible to navigate, no more search button (apart from the one that suggests searching through services that I don't have and don't want).Should I add sharing through a service addition (I saw a Plex service, I expected to find a Synology SMB Share service or something similar but nothing)? Thank you in advance for your answers.

I read the whole thing: charge ithold the button on the back for 12-15 seconds This doesn’t work.  When I am charging it, the orange light is indicated on the front of the speaker

Trying to change name of era 100 speaker after moving 

Hi All  After much frustration with the ‘buggy’ SONOS software on my iPad, I eventually got the Ace & Arc functionality working. While playing Dolby Atmos music tracks from Apple Music or Tidal, the max volume is too low to be useful. Movie soundtracks are louder but I would also like to be able to turn up the volume much more. When the SWAP takes place the volume on the Arc is disabled and I have turned up the volume in the SONOS app to the max so not sure if If there is anything else I can do to increase it

I’m considering buying the wireless charger base for a Roam 2, but I don’t want a 4’ cable connected to it. Is the cable hardwired into the base, or can I swap out the USB-C cable with a shorter one? 

After a lengthy (3 hour) wait/conversation with Sonos support, I had to factory reset all my old Play:1 speakers and download the new app, following a WiFi upgrade. I reset all my alarms within the app but then the alarms went off 4 hours early. It’s the middle of the night and I don’t know why the alarms are going off. I checked the app and everything looks fine. Any ideas? I can’t wake up at 2 am every day. 

Hi,I have 21 registered Sonos devices. I want to buy almost the same amount as we’re shifting to a new house. Sonos used to show and touts offers as part of upgrade program. I was heartbroken to see ZERO on my account. Customer Service isn’t helpful.Specially with respect to the new debacle of an app. Please help!

I have NOT been able to use my Sonos for several months. My You/See playliste cannot be played anylonger. Today I managed to hear one song from my playlist - but this could not be closed and I could again not play any songs from my YouSee list.I am very very tired of Sonos - and I have Updated and connected again and again as it falls out. What can I do 

I have always had the alarm set to play the radio but since i updated the app the alarm will only play the chime alarm even as i have set it to play the radio and it wont play anything else than the chime

I have 3 era 300 grouped, all is fine until one degroup itself after some days, I dont know why. Is there any way with any app or alexa or any other system that I can group all them together again automaticaly? 

Hello Sonos:I was thinking of buying a Sonos Beam Gen 2 and two ES 100 to use as a home cinema. However, I have found that these have a serious problemIn order to calibrate the sound and make it sound as it should, you need to use the TruePlay setting. The problem is that I don't have access to a compatible ios device to do this and I don't know anyone who has one either.I don't know to what extent it is worth getting this system, although people say that without TruePlay it is not worth itDepending on an ios device to do it is actually quite limitingProbably the best thing would be to get some portable device that is not too expensive with a microphone to be able to use it and thus calibrate the home cinemaI don't know what people here think, but I personally don't dare spend what the equipment is worth and then not be able to get the most out of it.It is something that should be fixed in the futureWhat do you people here think?Is the Sonos Beam worth it with the rear speakers without

I updated my app and lost connection with my speakers. I have 3 p1. After many hours I was able to connect 2 speakers. One is on Ethernet and the other is WiFi. No matter what I do I can not get the 3rd to connect! Any ideas? I’m not tech savvy but willing to try

When I target a speaker using AirPlay, its group is reset and I have to create the group again. This happens very consistently for all my speakers and from all my devices (Mac, iPhone, iPad). Is this a known bug?

The IOS app could not find my products after a replacement router was installed.  I did a factory reset as the app said and the router is showing the speakers.  The app took me through setting up the speakers then failed to link them to my account( on the app).  Now the app can’t find the Play:1s and I am not sure what to do next. 

Can I create a Bluetooth connection between my Sonos play three and a Bluetooth turntable with preamp? Thank you for your response.

Napster has been misbehaving for the last couple of months on my S1 system.   Two problems:A lot of tracks are cut off early, as much as a minute before the actual end.  I mean that Sonos jumps to the next track well before finishing the current track.  It’s different for each track, and not all tracks have the problem, but it’s consistent for the tracks that do (i.e., for a given album/track, it always seems to cut off early at the same point). Seeking doesn’t work at all.  If I seek in a track, I get “The connection to the server was lost” and it skips to the next track.  Merely pausing and resuming triggers this behavior.

The TV will re-connect to the Beam.Tried to reset the Sonos Beam or Power off sonos beam&TV + Disconnect sonos beam + Power on sonos beam&TV + connect sonos beam. But the problem still exists. Please kindly advise how to resolve the issue

my Sonos system is gone after replacing my nbn battery. They have disappeared from my Sonos app and my phone can’t find them or re add them. Does anyone know what I should do ? 

My sonos beam recently stopped giving out any sound , it is connected to a Samsung TV via hdmi .I found that the sonos app on my phone which I rarely use had deleted itself (?)After reinstalling the app could not connect to the beam , even after factory resetting the beam .Also when looking at my hdmi on the TV,  there are various picture of white soundwave / wavy line patterns and shapes which periodically change .Any ideas anyone , thanks in advance 

I have a Sony PS-LX310BT turntable with RCA outputs. I also see that it has a USB-B output. What’s the most practical way to connect it to my new ERA 100?  

Earlier this week, to my unexpected joy, I found I could access past BBC prom concerts by clicking on ‘podcasts’.  Today however, when I click through from ‘BBC Sounds’ to ‘Discover Podcasts’ there is simply a message ‘Unable to browse music’   Is this a temporary problem ?  I can see there was a conversation several months ago.  Is there anything I can do to access past BBC concerts ?

Some time ago I started gettjng what I can only describe as a reverb sound coming from my Era100's connected to my Arc as surround sound pairs. It never happened when I had my previous One SL's as surround speakers. And I'm pretty sure it wasn't like that when I first set them up. I've powered down all 3 speakers (Arc and both Era100's) and it's still happening. Its almost to the point of being unlistenable Any way to fix it?

I got a Sonos Arc from USA. I know the device itself switches to 220V (range 110-240V) but the power cable is rated 125V. Can I use the same power cable in India (220V) or should I get a new power cable from India
