Hi.Just got an Era 300. Sounds great. Enabled Sonos Voice and Alexa from the iOS app.  Have enabled Apple Music as I have a subscription. Alexa confirms it is linked to my Amazon account. There’s only 1 in this household. It respons with correct info re time, date etc. However, I can’t play anything on the Era 300 with Alexa. It gives a message asking me to enable the Sonos skill in the Alexa app and then run device discovery.Have tried both. Including disabling then renabling. I have a Sonos Roam and this works fine on there. Including playing from other sources, Global Player, BBC etc. Anything else I can try? Did search forums but not seen a clear resolution. TY.

The Playbase is blocked and won't turn on.Therefore it must be unplugged. When I plug it back in, it does not turn back on at all. I noticed that it blocks following a shock.1st time: a very loud explosion sound in a movie2nd time: a little screw dropped on it3rd time: the plug of an alimentation cable droped on it. So, i have tested something : a small deliberate shock and right after that, it turns back on. Why ?

I have Philips TV 58PUS8545/12 and Beam Gen 2 which are connected via HDMI ARC. HDMI CEC is enabled and I’m able to control volume level on Beam using my TV Remote. However, when changing volume, I don’t have any indication on my Philips TV Screen. Neither sometning is changing nor volume level. Tried with standard procedures, power-off - power-on, using different HDI ports/cables, etc. Is there any workaround how to see it?

I noticed my Sonos Move had disappeared off my system when I returned from a holiday. I tried many times to reconnect it to my network but it didn’t work - although it did reach the stage where it asked for a network password at one stage. After a couple of hours trying, the Move powered off and no lights have appeared since. Is there a way to resurrect it?

Is the Arc not eligible for upgrade discount credits? I see the unit on my systems tab but not under upgrade. Only my two ONE SL.Same email address used on app and Sonos.com.

Hey folks,As per the title, I am just checking that its possible to create a home theater using my existing Ray Soundbar, and grouping this with 2 x Play One speakers. I’d initially purchased a Roam2 speaker, but have sent this back as albeit I could group this with my Ray Soundbar, there were issues with the speech sync, whihc was distorted and interupted. I called Sonos and they advised that I could simply use 2 x Play One speakers to achieve this. Howevefr I am just checking on this forum before I purchase the Play One speakers.

I have used Sonos for more than 10 years. These controllers have got progressively worse and so I am not buying any more product until there is a significant improvement and these controllers. I particular playing my own music is much more difficult than it was 10 years ago.

Hi everybodyI already have 2 Era 100 and i project to by 1 Era 300 (just a reflexion for the moment) my question is this one, I i add an Era 300 in combination of 2 era 100 (which are configured in stereo mode) does the Era 300 can restitue in stereo too. Thx for illuminating my mind 🔉

Hi,  I was outside enjoying the music (first time since April) on my Sonos One when all of a sudden after 5 or 6 tracks had played on YTM system not found on the network came up and the music had stopped.  After checking, all of my speakers had gone missing.  Beam, Arc, Sub, 2 x Ones and a One SL.  I tried searching on the update network and it found my Beam and the One SL.  Then after I put my TV on the other speakers appeared again.  My Arc is wired to my TP Link XE-75 with the others all wireless.

I am using the Arc, 2 subs with 2 Era 300. Using Apple Music as recommended by Sonos. When playing ATMOS content I get a better special experience compared with my Sonos One’s which is expected.Era 300 is not doing a good job in my opinion when playing stereo content and I figured out that Sonos disables the front firing driver when the Era 300 is setup as rear surround sound. Why? I pay for all speakers and have not even an option to turn the front driver on :-(.  It would be better to give user an option and similar to the heigh volume adding a front volume and control the volume. Any help is appreciated.

Move 2 stops playing when some  louder voices are detected, despite having voice control off. It works well when the room is quiet . It automatically resumes music after 30 40 seconds after the stop. Other speakers continue playing during the same time

LGMarkus

My playbar and sub continually lose connection- it has nothing to do with the network - I can manually control the volume but I’m tired of factory resetting

Trying to set up Roam speaker in new location, via my 2nd home WiFi. Seems totally unresponsive.

I have lost one set of in ceiling speakers in one room. They have just disappeared from my app.

Hello everyone, new to Sonos and having some issues with mt new Sony Bravia 7 and Sonos Beam.I can only intermittently get it to work via the Bravia Sync system. Normally for it to work I have to complete a full power off cycle then reconnect. After a short time it drops out again and nothing at all shows on the Bravia Sync connected devices. This includes my Sky TV, Fire Cube as well as my PS5. I can still switch to them via the output button but my sound very rarely works and when it does I can't control the volume with my Sony remote, only the Sonos App.Sony have offered ZERO help, only stating they can't guarantee the compatibility of Bravia Sync with 3rd party products 😡.Apologies for the length of this but I'm stumped 😥

Connected my 2016 player, base and 2 play one speakers to a new Sony Bravia 8 tv. Worked great for 30 minutes then when I adjusted the volume down using the phone app sound became a choppy clucking noise.

Hello. I can't seem to connect the line-in connected to my Port to play from my speakers in the living room (Allrum). It only seems to play to the Port itself but I want to make it play from the speakers. Ive tried pressing the line-in from "Your Sources" but nothing happens, it only wants to play from the "Port" room. I'm pretty new to this so maybe im missing something obvious but I've tried most possible solutions and tried look through the line-in settings in the app. The user manual doesn't really give any help. Any help would be much appreciated!

I have just opened the app (android) and all the services I installed like TuneIn, Spotify, Amazon Music are missing. If I try to add them again, I get a "something went wrong" message.I restarted my phone & that has not helped.  Currently, I only have a Play1, a Connect and a bridge active on the system.

My system with play1 and Sonos 5 gen1 stopped working and now when I try to connect to WiFi it doesn’t work. Tried with cable and it doesn’t work.  what can I do?

They made me buy a new router to my home and I can’t connect my play:3 and symfonik bookshell speakers to new wifi. The app on my iPhone does not find the speakers, it only says that can’t find a speakers. So i reset the speakers, no help there, put a ethernet cable in and one of the speakers, play:3 starts playing, ok , that's good, but the app won’t still find it and when I unplug the ethernet cable music stops.Elisa, finnish company says that the problem is with Sonos because my speakers are so old and the new router is new, top of the line product with 5g and 5 giga system…What I can do next?

I've had an S1 so no system of five components for 15 or more years and it's been wonderful.  Two months ago I got a Sonos Arc for a new TV in a single room and have not even used the S2 app to play music on that system, and my S1 system has been working fine the whole 2 months.  I have not updated any app or component, as far as I know.  But just now, my S1 app can only see the Arc and wants me to download the S2 app.  I've heard about all the mess with the S2 app upgrades in the past 6 months, and have not had to deal with them because I only use the Arc with the TV.  Now this?  Help!

I have my own app working and can access some upnp services.  Can play, pause, adjust volume so far.  But the zonegrouptopology return method not allowed.  Tried both post and get.  Also having same issue with browse.  Any help would be appreciated.

I have a new Sub Mini. I have added it to my system and it shows up as Sub Mini not assigned. If I go the room I have named Library the App tells me I have a stereo pair consisting of a Play 1 left and a Play 1 right. I also have a box which says Connect Sub + and Remove Sub X. If I press Connect Sub I get a new window which says “Let’s add a sub to Library” I then click on Continue. I then get a picture of a Sub Mini and I I am asked to select the sub. I then collect on select. I then get another picture of a sub mini and a box which is a long horizontal slit. A black line Strats to go across and then the screen changes and the message “There was a problem adding your Sub Mini. Check the network connection and make sure that your subject is powered on.” Underneath is a big exclamation mark ! in a circle. Below that a “Try again” button.   So, as far as I know the Sub Mini is on. It has a steady white light and my system can see it. I have no idea how to check my network connection but

Ok - so, when the revamped Android app was launched a few months ago at least I could use my system via the Windows desktop app or with an ipad. This is no longer the case. Every device I used to connect to my system and play music via my Sonos speakers is now useless. Will this nightmare be over any time soon? Or should I just burn those speakers? Is anyone still able to use their Sonos products?
