I have Sonos One SL in my living / dining room where we watch movies, listen to music etc. I just purchased a Sonos Roam for the bedroom / deck. I’m wondering if I can set it up so it either plays the same music we have playing in the living room AND / OR to play independently, so we can just have it playing if say we are only in the bedroom or out on the deck. If I’m working around the house, it’s nice to have the same thing playing wherever I go but when we are only in one area, it’s nice to have the audio playing only in that area. Make sense? Thanks for your help. I’m sure this has been addressed in an article somewhere but I guess I didn’t have the right keywords to find it.

My Spanish internet radio stations are no longer working in the UK.  These include Blue Marlin, Ibiza Sonica, Ibiza Global Radio, Costa Del Mar - Chillout. All other TuneIn stations from outside the UK seem to be working fine and Ibiza Sonica is steaming fine when you go to their website. If you search for Ibiza Sonica in the Sonos app it comes up as a Sonos Radio station but won’t play.   Is anyone else experiencing this issue?   Thanks   Matt

Hi,I have old Sonos amp from 2012 and play3 from 2015. I'm about to buy new Sonos move device. Do they work together in same network under same application?Other question. Time to time Play3 losing the connection to network. My Amp is the master (connected to rj45) and no worries of 12 years old device. -Heikki

Why do Sonos (Sonos One, and Roam) struggle to connect and stay connected to Spotify? It has been doing this every day this week. It used to just happen every so often, but now it won’t connect at all.Actually, it eventually connects several minutes after the attempt was made, but then it turns back off… on, off, on, off… it will do this several times before disconnecting all together.  Sonos, great sound, bad everything else. 

Hello! I have my new construction home prewired ceiling with 2 speakers  on living room and two in basement. I have volume knob on each floor as well. Will one AMP suffice? I just want to be able to turn the volume down in basement while I’m playing in the livingroom. 

1. I play song on headphones. I can hear definite right left separation. On Sonos I either can't or barely barely can. 2. Videogame. Let's say I stand by roaring fire. Looking at it straight, sound comes from front, when I'm turning, I could hear sound change direction. Now again, either I don't hear it either it's barely.  Oh also I can't do trueplay. On iPad it doesn't work (I ain't the only one with a problem), on android it does not exist. Those are 2 examples. So. My old place had a beam gen 2 and sub. All was fine. I was happy. Couldn't even think about upgrading.  Moved. And sound turned.. small? Single direction? No... Directionality? Got 2 eras 300 as surrounds. That fixed feeling like sound comes from one point. Now sound comes from all around. However directionality and stereo is still not there.  Like I mention in the beginning. Spotify song. Definite left-right separation. Sonos? Nope. Same with video games. I just can't hear direction of a sound.    

I took my Sonos Roam abroad and I tried to use in bluetooth mode, however the volume was extremely low. It took me some time and online search for answers to realise that the volume limiter is the reason. At home I use my Sonos Roam in my bedroom and set the volume limiter at 40% otherwise it makes listening and changing the volume at low levels difficult. As this setting cannot be altered/switched off in Bluetooth mode and I couldn’t make the Roam to connect to the hotel wifi there was no way of changing back this limiter to 100%. I tried everything even resetting to no avail so my Roam was rendered useless during my month away which was extremely frustrating. I’m wondering if this has been resolved in Roam 2 as it can’t be expected to remember turning the volume limiter off (set back to 100%) while you’re still on the home wifi network every time you take your Roam away. Hi,I’m redesigning our home theater setup and I have in-ceiling wired speakers that I can connect to a Sonos Amp.  I would use a Sonos Arc as the front channels.  Can I then connect the in-ceiling speakers via a Sonos Amp to the ecosystem to use as rear channels for surround sound in the home theater setup?If possible, do either of the Arc or the Amp need to be hardwired to the router or a switch?

I just recently updated my Sonos app and I am finding it really hard to follow. I almost always use the app to play music from my turntable via the line entrance; however, there doesn’t seem to be a direct link to the line entrance in the new version of the app and only after some (wasted) time of the record playing the app finally recognizes the line input and will start playing. This is a horrible experience. I want my money back. And I still haven’t said anything about volume control. It’s absolutely horrendous. Please fix these issues NOW!!! 

I love the clean look of the Leon Speakers Tonecase. I have used it on non Atmos Sonos Soundbar. Has any one tried this with an Atmos Arc? It appears to mount flush with tv front. What fixes can we expect for the new Sonos app and when can we expect the fixes to take place?

I understand you cannot use a stereo pair of Sonos Move/Move 2’s as surrounds, but can you use them as a stereo pair and group them to other Sonos devices? Specifically, I have a patio TV and am running the headphone out on the patio TV to my AVR and Port setup inside. This has allowed me to group my existing Move to the Port and use it outside for the TV. I have been able to almost all but eliminate the delay--it’s good enough. It would be nice to have two for stereo/better sound in this use case. I seem to recall wanting to do this when I first bought the Move at introduction, but something I read had me reconsider. Just can’t recall.  Will this work, or am I missing something?

Is it possible to conect earphones  (Tolv or Power Beats) to Beam by Bluetooth?Thanks for your answers.IgnacioK

I have spent around 4 hours on and off today on the following:first I bought a 5 Gen 1 which I had to use a different app from the new SONOS app for then I bought a 1 Gen 2 which I could use on the new SONOS app but I wanted them both on the SONOS controller appThe SONOS app told me I could downgrade the Speaker 1 from Gen 2 to Gen 1 so I spent around 90 minutes repeatedly following the instructions to the downgrade facility.Eventually I contacted Customer services who told me that this feature doesn’t exist…..yet. As part of that discussion they told me “Despite the challenges we're facing, our team remains resilient and focused on finding solutions.” which had nothing to do with what were were talking about.So THERE IS NO DOWNGRADE FEATURE DESPITE BEING TOLD ONLINE AND IN-APP THAT THERE IS A DOWNGRADE FUNCTION.I now have 2 speakers, 2 apps and only one (the SONOS Controller) works on my Mac.The entire set up is a total mess. My son placed the Move on a soft surface and walked away, then we heard a thump a little while later.After this happened, we have the following issues:-Sound quiet and muffled.-No light on top panel, touch buttons unresponsive.I managed to reset the move with no blinking lights to guide me, however upon re-adding to my system it could not be registered due to an app being out of date. However my Android app is up to date.I have a strong suspicion that there’s internal damage or the factory reset would have worked. What are my options from here? Any advice appreciated. 

Even before the new iOS update I was having issues with snoozing my alarms when I try to activate them through the app notifications. I’m hooked up to a Beam as I use that for my alarm speaker.  The snooze fails to activate so I end up setting alarms at 15 min intervals.  I can however fully dismiss the alarm but that’s not an ideal solution. Are similar issues being reported and what’s the solution, if any?  Thanks in advance for any insight & input. 

Hello,I recently bought Sonos Beam Gen 2 to use it as soundbar for my Samsung TV QN95B.I followed Samsung’s step to activate eARC on HDMI ports and CEC.I used a HDMI 2.1 cable to connect the soundbard to the television.I used the third port in my TV (the one which has eARC). I tried factory resetting both the TV and Sonos Beam Gen 2, nothing changed. Still, I cannot connect at all my soundbard to the tv.  SONOS Beam gen.2 (specs):SONOS OS: 2Versione: 16.1 (build 78151070(Versione Hardware: 1.35.1.12-2.2ID serie: A203 Samsung QN95B (specs):Codice modello: QE55QN95BATXZTVersione software: T-PTMDEUC-1622.4, BT - S Moderator edit: removed serial numbers

Trying to setup a speaker, but I need to login to the app again.  When it launches the embedded browser it just is stuck loading login.sonos.  I can choose load in chrome and login loads instantly, but when it redirects into the app it's still on the embedded browser. Removed and reinstalled the app. No changeApp 80.01.30iOS 17.4.1Any other way to get the oauth token into the app? 

I would like to achieve the following with the least amount of hardware, if possible:Use the Sonos Beam 2 soundbar bundle to connect w/ TV for audio (Family Room) Add 2 Eras 300 speakers for surround (Family Room) Add 2 Eras 100 speakers for music (Patio) Add Sonos Amp with a pre-amp to support a turntable (Family Room)Questions:Will this setup work? Assuming the Home Theater will work, can I use this to play music from the turntable and other services in Family Room? Why am I being charged $19.99 each month for the use of this app? 

I have tried to downgrade my Sonos Move to s1 multiple times.  I follow the instructions on S2 to downgrade a product. The S2 app initially finds the Sonos moves and connects to it and then asks for permission to connect to Sonos moves temporary Wi-Fi network. I provide permission and then I get a notification that the app is unable to find Sonos move and suggest that I connected directly to my router via internet cable and try again (and the Sonos move does not have an Ethernet port). Very frustrating. 

Just bought a Synology BeeStation and tried to connect Sonos to it but I keep getting the error “Unable to add the music share //192.1.168.1.112/Music”.  Tried on my Mac and my iPad but get the same error. My Sonos devices are using the S2 OS as are my Mac/iPad applications. I have been using a Synology DS214se for many years and Sonos connects to it no problem. I contacted Synology support but they seem to think it is down to my Mac/iPad using smb1 instead of smb2 or smb3. They suggest I disable smb1 on my devices but that seems rather drastic.Anyone else managed to get Sonos talking to a BeeStation?    

I’ve just bought a Sonos Era 300 but it’s not completing the setup. The app says: “There was a problem adding your Era 300 to your system”.I’ve followed all the prompts to unplug, reset my phone and router, and even factory reset the 300 - but still not working. I really like my other Sonos products but this is pretty shambolic given I’ve just paid £400 for this.How do I get it to work?
