I just hooked up my 6 era 100 speakers to my cd player with a preamp. i had cd music from all 6 speakers until I unhooked player and then tried to re establish contact.  I can now only get play from direct line speaker.  How do I reconnect all speakers?

Select line in on the connected speaker.

Group all the others to the connected speaker.

Thank you.  I realized that all speakers needed to be shut down first, and then added back in. IT WORKS !! The quality is not great, but I’m assuming that’s my old cds and old player not my ERA 100s. :)

Try ripping the CDs, your ripping software may have better error correction than your CD player. Once ripped you can play them from the Sonos music library. I haven’t had a real CD out of storage in several years, my CD player either.
