I’ve seen no effort by Sonos to recognize that Sonos needs realize their products need to offer a way to speed up sound to allow it to catch up to the video.   Work on correcting you lip sync delay scale to go into the NEGATIVE area.  Let’s say a range of -5 to +5.   I really hoped to have seen solutions rather than blame being cast back to the tv makers.   Unfortunately it’s not happening.  So many people live with terrible lip sync issues and I’ve personally been forced to show captions to allow shows to make some sort of sense.  in the meantime I’m never recommending Sonos to anyone.

Hello,I currently use a single Sonos One for music and an LG OLED without speakers for tv/movies. I’m thinking of upgrading with an Arc Ultra and two Era 100s for surround in order to improve both my music and movie experience.Right now, my One is in the middle of the room (red). From what I’ve read here and seen on the Sonos website, rear speakers should go behind the couch and be angled towards it (blue). My question is: If I set up the Era 100s like that, it will be great for movies and TV , but won’t the music sound worse if I’m anywhere else than on the couch (eg: in the kitchen) ? Since the speakers will be aimed towards the other side ? Is there a better way to do it ?If anyone has advice or tips, I’d really appreciate it. Thanks!

my Sonos app loses connection to my Home system pretty much every time I want to use it. Honestly, this happens about once a month and I have to reinstall everything from scratch again. I have probably come to the point where I am just going to get rid of all this Sonos equipment. Quite frankly it is terrible. It sounds great but the connectivity issues make it incredibly unreliable and I have been patient for over two years with three home theatres and speakers in every room.   I am going to list all the stuff on Facebook marketplace and just get rid of it. I am going to switch to Sony, which at least works reliably. I have found the same thing with any speakers made by Samsung. The TVs and the speakers simply don’t work too well together. There! This is the best solution I can offer anybody that has invested in Sonos technology. It looks like the company does try to a minor extent to make products that work reliably, but it must be a lot more complicated than it should be. At the end

Is it possible to use a remote control when move is connected to my tv via Bluetooth as the tv remote doesn’t alter the volume and I have to manually adjust or is there another way to connect to my tv

I have a question

Since some time, whenever I try to connect to my Sonos 300 Era stereo pair in Apple iTunes on Mac OS (Sonoma 14.7.2 (23H311), iTunes starts to show the Sonos system as “Updating ...” for some time (named OFFICE): followed by “Can’t connect” popup. On the same wifi network I can connect to this Sonos system with zero issues from iPhone and iPad. Only on my macbook I have the issue.Sonos system is updated to the latest version. There have been few updates since the issue started, but neither Sonos system/controller update fixed the issue.System information for my system is: Associated Product: 192.168.1.222---------------------------------Era 300: Office (L)Serial Number: **************Sonos OS: S2Version: 16.5 (build 82259204)Hardware Version: 1.38.3.10-2.2Series ID: A101IP Address: 192.168.1.223WM: 1---------------------------------Era 300: Office (R)Serial Number: *************Sonos OS: S2Version: 16.5 (build 82259204)Hardware Version: 1.38.3.10-2.2Series ID: A100IP Address: 192.168.1.

Hello, after moving to a new location I wanted to setup my Play 1s again. I was able to add them as a new system and everything works fine in the sonos app. Then I reenabled my sonos skill in the Alexa app, but then no devices are found. I did everything to make it work: reset speakers, rebooted devices, restarted app, relinked Alexa and Sonos. But those devices just cannot be found… Are there any advices?

Era 100 making popping noises and flashing different coloured lights, cant seem to stop it. Any ideas please? (Nothing playing!)

Hi all, sorry to bang on about this but I can’t seem to get a straight answer. So under Sonos Favourites (this is not my music library) I have the albums but no album artwork and not able to create a new playlist.is this still waiting to be done or is my system Thank you

I recently changed my router and since then my Sonos system has become a complete mess..I've tried following various pieces of advice from the web but the more I do the bigger the mess seems to get.  Should have asked the Community from the start !My system - I just have a pair of Play 3 speakers which were set up as a stereo pair and could play music from my music library, which is on a network drive.  I only use the system with the music library, nothing fancy, not playlists, radio etc. I have an old Android tablet with the Sonos 2 app, a Mac with Sonos 2 v16.5, and my wife has an Android Samsung phone she thinks it's an S9.The tablet and the Mac can both access the music library, but they only seem to recognise one of the Play 3s.  The controllers on those two devices are limited in functionality and don't seem to be capable of activating the other Play 3.  So they can only play music through one speaker. The S9 phone does seem to recognise the second Play 3 but not the first one.  A

why does the sonos app no work on macos? I’ve tried downloading it from the sonos website and all it keeps saying in the sonos app from the sonos website is that sonos needs to get the latest software?says:We need to get Sonos running on the latest software.Choose Check for Updates to get started.

Hi, this is 2024-12-15, I'm wondering if the Ikea remote control symfonisk and hub dirigera works with Sonos speakers that are not bought at Ikea. Would like to have the function press a button and start a sonos favorite. (I can tell google and it works variably). Really like the old way of pressing a button. So my main question is can I start a sonos favorite with ikea symfonisk?

After recent update majority of my Sonos devices have been constantly dropping off the internet every day or two. It's usually been 3 out of my 7 devices, however it's starting to get worse with the 4th now dropping off. I've gotten so frustrated I thought it may have been my router so I purchased a new $400 router setup. And still they are dropping. It's usually my Play:1, Play:3 and Play One. Looking for answers as I am now holding off on my planned Sonos purchases because of this issue.I've created a diagnostic: ***********Moderator edit: diagnostic number recorded and removed

Hello.  My Sonos on Mac says my Apple Music needs to be “re-authorized” but this can only be done on an iOS device. Apple Music is fully authorized and operational on my iPhone, but I do not see any option to re-authorize it for the Mac. Any help appreciated. Thank you.

Since the December 10 update to the latest version I have been unable to play music tracks via a linked spotify account on the latest SONOS Windows controller. The Web and mobile apps work fine, I’m able to play local music files and radio stations. I was listening to queued music before the update five minutes before perfectly fine, so this has occurred in the latest version. When I attempt to add music to the queue I get one of three error messages: “Unable to add music to the queue”, “Error 701”, “An error occurred whilst adding music tracks to the queue”. Steps I have taken so far include; Resetting the router, re-adding the Play:1 speakers I have, re-adding the spotify account, reinstalling the windows controller, resetting the windows controller, none of these have worked.

How can it be that since the new app Sonos didn’t manage to solve the problem with the grouping of several devices?I can start playing the same music streaming service individually on every single device but when I try to group these I get always the same error “Unable to connect. Try later “Terrible product. And even worse is that after months the problem is still not solved. any suggestions for good alternatives to Sonos? I’m tired of this. I want to replace my system with something better.

Can I connect 2x Era100 speakers with mini sub wirelessly. At this stage I can only get 1x era100 and mini sub to work together. Other Era 100 won’t join

Sonos has made Play1 obsolete. I might as well throw the speakers away. They cannot be connected to wifi anymore, even after factory resets. One will work if connected by ethernet directly to the router, but the App control for start/stop, or volume is spotty at best.   I will not buy anything new through Sonos because they will eventually “improve” that to be obsolete also. All good things must come to an end I suppose.

In our country sell new headphones Sonos, offers a lot, the price is very different from different sellers, are there fakes on these headphones and how to determine whether it is a fake or original, maybe there is an opportunity to check the serial number, I will be grateful for any information, thank you!

My Sonos One speaker, is not making pairing sound.Who repairs there speakers in Melbourne Australia?

Have bought two Era100s and a sub mini. Have been trying all weekend to make the system rock. Spent an hour with Sonos support but no progress.I want it to play as a 2.1 stereo system in my living room. No matter how i try it will not work. I can stereopair the Era100s but if i add the sub i end up with one Era playing.I can add the sub to one Era, but if i try too stereopair the second i am back to square one.Evert Component seem too work. Just not together.Any ideas before i return the products?

Hi friends, can someone advise me if it is worth buying the sub gen3 or gen4? I don't know if there is a difference between the two. I only have an era 300.

Hi. My set up is a Rega Planar 1, Pro-Ject Phono Box MM pre-amp, and an Era 300.The minute I turn the Rega on a massive hum is present. I have scoured the internet and tried everything I can find.Tried grounding the amp and the left channel output on the Rega. Tried grounding to each other, and each one to a radiator. Have tried all combinations of plugs being in the same expansion lead or not.I have laid it all out so no cables are crossing. But no improvement. If I plug the Rega straight into the Era 300, there is no hum (thought the sound is nor great, but just about listenable).I also get the buzz when I use a Bose speaker I had to hand to test.Any ideas?TIA.

So I’ve got a pretty consistent problem with my new setup. Sound tends to pulse. Like half a second every second. It does this for a bit, then seems ok, then does it some more.It sounds like sound is shifting back and forth between Arc and Era surrounds.Super annoying.Any ideas?
