Watching a new movie on Netflix and the app says 5.1. Arc, Sub gen 3 with Era 100’s on the rear surround setup. No sound from the Era 100’s despite App showing 5.1.  Checked TV and it’s set to Dolby audio.  Any suggestions?

I recently bought a pair of Era 300’s. I was able to setup the speakers fine however, the streaming service I use is Apple Music and for some reason it doesn’t come up in the list of connected services. I have search manually and looked for the entire content service list . Can someone help me figure out why Apple Music doesn’t come up on my app??

Hi- anyone know if there’s a fix for Sonos Roam not charging. It was working perfectly then all of a sudden stopped charging. Nothing I do will let it get any charge or even get enough power to do a reset.  I have two Roams and I’m using the right power adapter and sonos cord. One Roam is charging fine and the other just has a flashing orange light of death.  I have had it on charge for 2 days and can’t get it to respond at all except with the orange light after pushing the button. I’ve called support but just end up on hold for a long time. I’m on hold now as I write this. 

Currently my sonos 5 is physically plugged into the router by ethernet cable and my sonos 1 is paired with the 5. I have attempted to find a blutooth option instead but am unable to get this to work. Can i set this up without physical ethernet connection to the router?

Hi all -  I have a new Wi-Fi network coming into the house - when I open the Sonos app obviously can’t find anywhere to connect however when I go to settings, I can’t see where I would normally click “update network” - I can’t find how to do this on the new App ? Can anyone help?! 

I've had my Sonos system for about 2 months now, but I notice that every so often it disconnects from the app and gets unconfigured, having to reset the entire system and reconfigure it with some kind of problems. How can I avoid this? My WiFi signal is 100%

Hi all, Since the latest app this week I can no longer connect to the second system at our holiday house. It works on the Windows app but not on iPhone or Android. In other words, it's not really usable to have to get out a laptop to launch music, manage volumes, etc. The Apple and Android apps just say they can't find a system on this network then ask to update the network. When we do that, it still doesn't work. The fact that it does work on Windows suggests the issue is with the new crApp. Another fail from the super heros we pay lots of money to. Sorry to say that SONOS team but you are very clearly not testing your software before launching it on us, your paying customers.  GET IT RIGHT...please. 

So I have home theater set up in an open floor plan, meaning Beam gen 2 with the TV, sofa closer to the TV (not middle of the room), and era 100s far behind in the kitchen.  Surround settings work great for TV and Music:  I can bump up TV level to reach the sofa, and more even level with Music as I’m more mobile and/or in the kitchen which leaves the sound more immersive everywhere with a sweet spot closer to mid room (and Music playback set to Full).  The problem is TruePlay sounds great for TV (rightly so as it is tuned for when I’m on the couch), but not for Music: most notable there’s a delay between the TV and surrounds, makes the music sound live instead of crisp.  This is explainable since it’s optimized again for one is sitting where tuned.  But it leaves me toggling TruePlay on and off depending if I’m watching TV on the sofa vs listening to Music (especially not on the sofa).  So, my question is there are way around this?  Otherwise, my ask is it would be really useful to hav

While using the app on my Android phone, when I get an incoming call I no longer have access to the app in order to mute or turn down the music until I answer the call, and ask them wait a minute until I navigate back to the app to turn down the music. Is there a way around this? For instance, an (always on top) set of controls, or a setting to auto mute during incoming calls, or something like that.

Since an inadvertent lapse allowed my two Play 1 speakers to be updated a few weeks ago, I have no longer been able to use my S2 App which I had previously been very happy with. I have been using the Windows Desktop App to play my music. Not very convenient but it least it works. Or it did until today. Now it says it has found my system but clicking ‘Lets connect’ never works. See below screenshots. Have SONOS changed something else without me knowing again??Any help or ideas would be appreciated? I have completely lost faith in SONOS which I previously loved for many years.I tried chatting to support but after answering a long list of questions the bot decided it couldn’t help me and basically shut my issue down. Hello,I've been struggling with a problem with Sonos and Spotify for a few days now. I can't play playlists in the Sonos app. The playlist displays correctly, if I click on any song in the playlist, the first song starts playing, if I subsequently click on any other song, the message "Something went wrong..." appears.What works is clicking on the "Next track" icon. Video:  Other services like Youtube Premium work fine. Playing directly in the Spotify app works as well.What solutions have I tried?- restarting the router- restarting all Sonos devices- Deleting apps (Sonos and Spotify) and their data- Reset all Sonos devices to their default stateNothing helped.Has anyone solved this problem? I have in parts a pretty old system:two play:1 from 2014, paired with a sub from 2019 two move from 2020it’s never hard connection problems. e.g. I see all speakers in my system. and I can always start music on them. but the reaction time is terrible. changing a song sometimes can take 10-30 sec and is almost never instant. same for changing the volume. sometimes it doesn’t react at all and I can not even stop the music any more. there is one peculiar effect, that might ring a bell with someone: if I switch from bluetooth to sonos the music continues on spotify, but I don’t have any sound. only if I change the position in the song the sound will come.I did the commonly recommended things like resetting router and speaker. but if you think it makes sense to do it again, should I try with only a subset of speakers first? I never have any other problems with my WIFI/router. obviously it’s not the internet connection (via bluetooth everything is fine) I usually control the music via the sp

Woke up this morning to my sonos alarm on my wall mounted Ray going off so I get up and grab my phone to shut it off..   It wasn't listed in my system anymore only one of my Roams.. Later this morning my connect and my other roam appears in the app but still no ray and nor does my bookshelf I logged into my computer to check emails and decided to look at the sonos app on it and sure enough was my Ray and my bookshelf BUT not my roams or connect.Here is a Pic of both my android and pc app side by side. Note: at this time only my ray is connected by wire.  

I get it, you can’t use Roam and Move as surround speakers.  But it would be nice if you could.  I want to use roam in the bedroom on the nightstand because of the small footprint and the small room.   so what would happen if you had a charging base that was part of the Sonos surround to connect with your main channel (arc, beam, etc.) then when the roam is on the charging base, the system treats it as a surround.  When you remove it, the base says ‘there is nothing here’. This would allow me to snag one to take to the pool during the day and watch a movie at night.  just think about it. Plus it’s another way for you to suck about $200 out of my pocket. 

Would like to connect what is playing in the Era 100 Bluetooth speaker (the turntable, a phone) to the rest of the Sonos speaker system, primarily play speakers. Is that possible?

.: Hello. Yesterday I bought a Pro-Ject Debut Carbon Evo turntable. I know it does not have a pre-amp. In my living room, I have the Sonos Arc SL soundbar and two Sonos One SL speakers. My question is: how do I pair the Sonos and Pro-Ject devices? I have searched intensely but have found no straightforward answer or help. My understanding is that I need to connect the turntable to a pre-amp, and then the pre-amp to a Sonos device that will work with the Arc and SL speakers. I would be very grateful if anyone could verify this, and also if anyone can then advise me on buying a pre-amp, and on which Sonos device I will need to make this all work.Thank you sincerely in advance for any guidance you might provide me.

Hi, I wanted to get information on using Sonos in the Uk and if it fits into the business music licensing category or are you still required to make additional licensing payments ? 

I have an Playbar and 2 x Sonos One’s set up for surround sound. The left speaker has started crackling when watching the TV. I can’t highlight when this happens as it is intermittent and sporadic and very annoying😡Any ideas about what’s going on?

Trying to add a Play 1 to my system. Have done a factory reset and power cycled.App finds the Play 1, has done an update, and my mobile connects to the temp WiFi but the speaker doesn’t play the chime. It then asks for a button press and doesn’t detect that either. Bit stuck now. White light is flashing on top. Any help gratefully received.

Why does my beam keep cutting out while watching the tv?

Hi everyone !As stated in the post title, there’s no weather location option in sonos voice control settings so when I ask about weather to SVC it says I have to setup the location…To provide any possibly relevant details :- I confirm the app as well as all speakers firmwares are running last version.- In case it matters I am French and so everything is settled in French language.- I tried with both iPhone and iPad apps (I haven’t any android device to check)- I already tried to uninstall and install again SVC as it was already installed prior the new version but without success…Thanks for reading and if you have any ideas I’m all ears 🙏😊   

Hi I have an iPhone 15 and Sonos ace. can I get a DAC connector and wire my headphones to my phone and get hi res lossless?  any help would be great before I buy a DAC.  Thanks  craig 

The unability to create the personal music library in searches is bad enough and has been reported by many users already.Now I faced another challenge when trying to browse the music library: so far, in the new app, the listing of albums was accurate, still a bit clumsy to go through without the A-Z bar on the side, but possible.On the weekend, without having done any further app update (Android), the album list looks very different. The Sonos app lists every song of an album as one album (!), so the actual list of albums is not there anymore. With 55.000 titles on my NAS, it has now become completely impossible to choose albums or tracks.Have other users also run into that problem?

Hello. I just changed my network and my Sonos One cant connect to the new one. When iam in the app trying to connect with the sonos, nothing happens. I tried pressing the button in the back while iam taking out the power. Anything else I can do?

I have spent about 2 hours trying to persuade my Sonos Amp to display the CD connected to line-in in the sources list.  I unplugged the amp multiple times,  as well as restarting the Android app and clearing its cache multiple times.  Eventually it showed up.  This setup worked reliably with the previous app.  I have no confidence that the line-in will still be there tomorrow.   Yesterday I posted about line-in source not being displayed in the main source list.  After multiple power cycles and restarting the app, it appeared there,  and could be used.  Overnight the cd player was turned off.  Today,  line- in has gone again from the main source list. An attempt to play a CD didn't produce any sound after about a minute.  It is still in the settings for the room the Sonos Amp is in. I tried power cycling the Amp while the CD was playing. About 30 second after powering the Amp on,  the CD music came through the speakers.  The line-in source is still not displayed in the main list. Not e
