I know the upfiring speaker will be killed on sound damping roof. But do anyone have experence with turning the 300’s upside down. Will that work okay or will it not be the same?

I have been a KPIG listener for 15-20 years. Many know that KPIG was one of the very first streaming radio stations out of Santa Cruz.I have been a Sonos owner for 10 years. KPIG has always been wonderful. However, listening to KPIG is a challenge with the new updated Sonos App, combined with TuneIn radio requiring a subscription fee to listen to KPIG has made it difficult to listen to KPIG via Sonos. As it is at this moment, I have: Sonos on my MacBook with Sonos player v 16.4.2 And have the updated TuneIn Player on my MacBook. YES I can play KPIG from my computer. However I cannot initiate KPIG from my iPhone Sonos App. This is the Black Sonos App. It shows up in my favorites on my iPhone but I have to initiate it from the MacBook. I cannot initiate it from the iPhone. Please advise

The system stops playing every kind of music that I chose. After a few seconds it restarts playing. This happens about every 5 to 10 minutes. I can’t find any problems at my provider, so it looks that Sonos is the problem. Thus anyone now how to correct this problem. It happens sinds the last week. 

I ask Alexa on the Move to: “Set volume to level 4” - and when I test it, indeed it is OK.  But the next time I “Alexa” the volume is again way too load like before.  How can I get the Move to hold the volume to which it is set by Alexa??  Thank you.  Peter

I’m trying to add Alexa as a voice assistant to my ERA 100 but when it tries to sign me into Amazon it just buffers.  I’ve tried various suggestions like disabling the SONOs skill in the Alexa app, uninstalling the Amazon shopping app but nothing is working.   

Hello. My sonos play 1 speaker is not connecting to my computer. This is odd, because it randomly disconnected. I tried resetting and rebooting it, but nothing worked. It would be great if I could hear about a way to fix it. Thank you.

When will u add more then 2 speakers sounds 

I've reset, and I know my wifi password is correct. The Play 1 speaker starts the set up normally,  then automatically connects to a temporary wifi (even though i am already connect to mine on my device) then asks me to connect to my wifi and enter my password, but it can't connect. My device shows me still connected to the temporary wifi of sonos, when I try to switch to mine it says that it lost connection and ends the setup.

I can’t get my Sonos to unstick from my radio station to source TV instead.  Help!

According to the SONOS service rep I can no longer use my Sonos5 as it will not update. I switched to Starlink as my Internet Service Provider and they claim they do not support sattelite ISP connections. This is total BS since every other streaming service we can pay for ie: Netflix, Amazon Prime, U-tube, Hulu, Disney, Paramount etc    can stream via Starlink, but Sonos does not. One has to ask why, when every other streaming service can transmit/receive data packets via a fully licensed and valid ISP as Starlink is, but Sonos says they cannot support this service? No ratiional explanation can be offerred to refute why this cannot be remedied. So I now own a $700 doorstop?

My system contains: 1 BEAM2 MINI SUB3 SL 1004 ERA 300 (just purchased)Will all this work together? I have a small 1 bedroom home with extremely high ceilings. (24 ft ceilings in the LR)is this too much audio for my space? 

I have been (happily) using Sonos for years with various WiFi routers, but recently change to Google Nest to increase WiFi coverage.  In doing so, I have lost connection to my Sonos hardware (the Sonos app says “unable to connect”).  Have followed the app trouble-shooting guide but still no connection.  HAs anyone experienced this and/or got any suggestions?

I have an arc two moves in a Rome, which are only two years old and recently completely stopped working. I have spent a total of six hours troubleshooting, two hours of which on separate occasions I waited the queue for 40 minutes to finally be answered and an hour later they had nothing else for me.  This is a horrible way to treat customers and a horrible way to make them upgrade to a new system after only two years because after all, isn’t that the intent?  FYI, good customer service means that you call in once and when they can’t find an answer, they escalate it and call you back. You should not ever have to wait in a queue over and over and over again.

Recently got an ultra and era 300s coming from Arc and Sonos ones. mostly do movie watching but on occasions like to play some music. Arc and ones sounded pretty good but I’m disappointed by the era 300s for music playback, find them very tinny sounding and don’t sound as good as the ones I had. Don’t quite understand why they sound so poor, for the cost of them I thought they would excel at all content thrown at them. I’ve tinkered with settings but of ended up setting them to ambient rather than full play back. Has anyone experience of this? Know why they are so poor.

I voluntarily bought a Sonos Era 100 in order to bridge the gap between the turntable and my Sonos environment (1 Playbase, 2 Sonos One in addition).I read on the Sonos site that a simple RCA female output (red and white tips) and a 3.5mm USB-C jack adapter are enough to detect the turntable on my Sonos Era 100. So I bought them. However, it is impossible for me to play my vinyl records because the local source (Line-in) is not detected on my Sonos application. I don’t get the same results in the Sonos app when searching Storytel compared to the same search in the native Storytel app. I have also seen similar results with Spotify. Something can be found in the native music service app, but not when searching for the same thing through the Sonos app.E.g. I searched for an author in the Storytel app. I got 59 results. Searching for the same author in the Sonos app just gave me 38 results.I can of course “cast” from the native app to my Sonos system and start playing it that way. But the queue functionality is very limited when doing it this way and it is not possible to queue multiple things in this manner.

HiSo i got a new router yesterday and tried to set up my Sonos system again. But My playbar and sub wont connect. I can see both of Them in the app and when i try to set them Up it says preparing and then the message a problem occurd unplug and try again comes up.I've tried to factory reset them both but that doesnt help. And tried to use a cable between Them and the router too but that doesnt work either. Im wondering if anyone has any ideas or could provide any help on how to proceed.My 2 One SL installed without a hitch.

Hi,  I am looking to upgrade my TV to match up with my Arc Ultra and I wanted to make sure there are no issues connecting these two together. 2024 Sony Bravia 8 and the Arc Ultra. plan is to use the E-Arc connection as I have done before so I really don’t expect an issue, but thought I’d ask before I spend the money on the TV

I have a Sonos Ray connected to my tv and attached to the tv on a mount to hide all wires. I’d like to get a cd player to connect to the ray so I can enjoy the sound via the Sonos Ray. What are my options that don’t include purchasing a Sonos dock which is out of my price range? Is there any way to connect to my Sonos Ray via Bluetooth and avoid messy wires up to it? or use a blue ray player that plays CD’s and somehow mount that to the TV as well to avoid messy wires coming down from the TV to a player?

I have an older SONOS setup using (2) Connect Amps on a 2.4 G wireless network that a few months back stopped working.  I trouble shot the system cycling power to my Xfinity wireless router and I can see only (1) of the Connect Amps but, not both at the same time.  I have used the “Search for Product” feature and it cannot find the other Connect Amp.  I have reset my SONOS S1 App and still no luck.  If I disconnect the (1) Connect Amp I can see on the App and connect (power) the other (1) Connect Amp, I can see that one.  In other words they both work separately on my wireless network but, not together.  Need help in solving this issue.

Since the new Arc Ultra has Bluetooth, would I be able to play spatial audio tracks from my iPad directly to it instead of using Apple Music? I would like to play my own produced tracks, not Apple Music songs and there wasn’t a way to do it with the original Arc.
