I really do despair. This morning I thought I would try out the SONOS to see what its current state is. BAD is my feedback. I switched on the stereo pair of PLAY:1’s that I have. All good, Music started playing. Music stopped, both lights had turned green. Eventually, after multiple attempts, I managed to allegedly update the speakers. BUT, the indicators are still green, the SONOS app tells me the speakers are up to date, the app thinks its playing but their is no sound coming from the speakers. Tried connecting the two speakers to my router via ethernet cable to see if that would fix the issue. It didnt. Sonos can see the stereo pair, but just wont play music through them. Deleted the stereo pair and reconnected. Did play sound through the added speaker.  I cant seem to update the original post… I have spent 3 hours trying different combinations of things… even rebooted my router and used a different phone running a different version of android. I do not seem to be able to add 2 x PL

I have numerous sonos speaker all WIFI around house I'm looking to purchase a sound bar of some type and wondered....if I buy sonos firstly can it connect via optical to tv output and secondly if it did would it the connect to other WiFi sonos speakers Note my FIVE is old gen so we have to use S1 APP not sure if that makes difference also  Help appreciated 

I recently bought a used connect 2. When I connect it to my wired network. Sonos app s1 detects it but tells me to use Sonos app v2. However in sonos app v2 doesn’t detect the device. I tried factory reset (press play and up button while powering up) it flashed amber for a few second and then go green. Did I miss something? Did the previous owner forget to transfer ownership or something?

When I turn off the loudness it turns itself back on.  What’s up?

So my app recently updated and now I can’t change my EQ settings or control volume limits on my devices.  anyone else experiencing the same issue. Worked fine before the latest update..   

I have a beam. And I just bought Eras 100 ( 2 of them) when I turn in my tv, I would love for my sound to play from all 3 speakers( beam and both Eras) I can’t figure out how to get the Eras to play as well. 

How do I connect my arc in my play five to be part of the surround sound

Hi all, please help me get Sonos to work via Amazon Music app for my son 🙏My son has a Play 1 in his room. He has the Sonos app and can play via that but he really wants to be able to cast it via the AM app so he can read song lyrics, also it’s just way better, visually. But no speakers are shpwing up on the AM app at all. He’s logged into my Sonos account, my Amazon Alexa account and his own Amazon Music account (as family member)

Hello,I am trying to figure out whether I need to upgrade my whole system which was bought in 2015. I’m sorry I haven’t kept up with all the changes. Here’s the situation:I have four connect amps serial numbers like: ***************** registered 10/15. They are wired to speakers in the wall in a few rooms in my house. My old regular sonos app doesn’t connect anymore. The S1 and I think I tried the S2 apps don’t work either. Is there a fix for this? Thank you so much to anyone who can help. HiI mainly have used my Sonos system to listen to my own music, which is stored on a Buffalo LS-WXLF5D NAS.I had it set up and working fine on the S2 app.Since the up-heavel with the app, I have been without this function. I now see that Manage library is back. I have gone to Add Folder / Enter Share info….given my PC path name and the NAS mapped folder - //192.168.1.10/ZBut, I just get Access is denied. I’ve tried with and without the NAS’s username and password, but same result. Have also tried turning off my Firewall, but same result.Am I doing something stupid? As I say, it previously worked.Thanks!Damien

Hello everyone. I have an ARC Playbar and 2 “Play 1” Speakers and a Sub and I don’t understand why I can’t output Multi Channel  Stereo on my system.For the dev guys at Sonos, here is the logic behind my request. I unplug my speakers and move them through out the house when listening to music. For example, I take my “Left Play 1” outside on my patio, and my “Right Play 1” on the second floor etc. When watching a movie making the most of Dolby Atmos etc, the system is great. For Music, the fact that I can move my speakers around make Sonos the favored brand. I understand I can make a new room, but then would loose the Arc as a speaker in my main room.Maybe my limitation is around the PlayBar, which is not designed to output mono or Stereo? I know a lot of people are requesting Multi Channel Stereo, but I think it comes from the fact that its so great that all the speakers are wireless. Is creating a new room without the PlayBar the way to go here? Thanks for your help.-J

For several weeks now the status light on my arc does not show whenever I increase or decrease the volume on my sky q box via my sky q remote. It’s really annoying as it doesn’t seem like the volume is increasing (as it goes up in increments of 2) so I want the visual there that it is actually going up. It also doesn’t show when I go up to the arc itself and physically press the touch buttons on top and I’ve no idea why? I see the volume physically increase when on the app when I press increase. I’ve reset the remote and tried to pair again but no joy. I’ve also turned the status light function off/on via the app. It seems to be a bigger issue than that though, as it doesn’t show when I physically press the top of the arc like I’ve said. My TV is an LG 77 inch G2 if that is relevant. For reference, I have a Sonos Ray in the bedroom and that still works correctly, showing the status light when I increase/decrease on my sky q mini box.  Any idea what it could be?  Thanks in advance! 

Hello my sonos app dont save any equalization value that i put after i put like more bass or more treeble goes to cero all the time. I have a beam 2 and sub mini

Does Sonos allow for setting of a cross-over frequency for the Sub?  If so, how is it accessed?  All I see is a volume control for the Sub

Hi all sorry if someone has already asked but does anyone has the same problem?   I set my alarm either chime or sono favorite like a radio.  However, it never go off at the set time.  I live in UK and she since the new app my alarm isn’t working anymore…Any help will be very much appreciated.Thanks

My living room sports an Arc, Sub G3, and two Ones as rear channels. Everything works great. I also have two non-Sonos ceiling speakers on the patio next to the room, which I would love to connect into the Sonos group and play the tv sound.  I already have a Bluetooth amp on those speakers but can’t figure out what I need to get it in the loop. Would also like to continue using speakers as bluetooth occasionally. I’d prefer not to spend another $700 to get the newer Sonos amp, if I can help it. Any idea? Thanks for any insight!

Hi everyone,I currently have 4 x Play:1s, a gen 2 sub, a Five, a Roam SL and a gen 2 beam. They are all running firmware 16.1.1 (build 78152020) and are controlled by the 16.1 S2 android app (build 78151030). I ‘sideloaded’ the 16.1 version following the disastrous release in May.My main use case for Sonos is to play my personal library of music from a USB stick connected to my router on 2 zones (2 x play:1s and 2 x play:1s plus the sub). The beam is used solely with a TV, the roam/five are used to stream internet radio.For various reasons relating to my routers support for SMB1 (ASUS DSL-AX82U), not having a NAS, working without internet and not wanting to upgrade to the latest app version, I want to downgrade the play:1s and the sub to S1 and separate the components into 2 systems, with the more up to date components on 16.1 S2.The 16.1 S2 app does have the option under ‘support’ to ‘downgrade products to S1’ and I’m wondering if anyone has done this on the pre-May S2 app? 

Attempting to install new MOVE. i have two speakers, one mini sub and one beam all connected through WIFI. i can group all. The MOVE, on the other hand connected via Bluetooth with BEAM. I cannot group with all others. instead i have two networks  HELP

Hello, I have a Sonos amp upstairs and is connected to WiFi. I have speakers downstairs to the roof which are connected to the amp. However I am not able to detect the amp on my mobile app after I’ve changed mobile.  please advise. Also is there a way or a page using which I can detect which WiFi network amp is connected to?

Since installing the update in May, I haven’t been able to use my Sonos speakers for the only use that matters to me: play the music recorded on an external SSD inserted in the Satechi Stand & Hub For Mac Mini (https://tinyl.io/BOh8) connected to my Mac Mini through USB. I followed the instructions from https://trello.com/c/wcfwIU8A/2-local-music-library But… Any help would be very much appreciated. 

Hi folks, turning to the community as one last throw of the dice to try and resolve this, otherwise I will be selling the 2 x Move speakers. Having read through the various posts around the updated app (absolutely horrible) and various posts surrounding my similar issue, I have been unable to find a solution that works.  when I try to access the speakers through the app (BT full fibre and iPhone 15 pro) I get the attached error message about “system not found on network”. I then search and add my speakers once again. Within 2 minutes, they disappear yet again.  I have to go through this process EVERY time I access the app, I have been unable to simply open the app and play music since the app update.  can anyone offer some advice with this that has maybe found a solution as I do love the speakers but this has now become unusable and will be forced to sell.  thanks all. 

I have a Sonos Amp along with a pair of Sonos by Sonance Outdoor speakers and I want to connect-add a passive GLS8 OSD Subwoofer along with a Fosi M03 mono sub amp, is this configuration possible all together in the Sonos Amp??

Hello, how are you? I'm having trouble setting up the Sonos Era 100. When I add it, an update appears that always gives error -30. I've already switched phones, reset the speaker, etc., and nothing works. It's very frustrating because the product isn't cheap. How can I solve this?

My Sonos Move failed charging dock replacement It charges Ok via USB-C, using the same mains socket outlet, so I know it’s the docking base. I also measured the voltage across the dock pins and it is zero. I bought it new from John Lewis in May 2023 but they no longer stock this older model and so under their warranty I can only get a refund or a same-price alternative or pay the extra £140 for the newer Move 2; non of which are appealing to me. Do Sonos provide replacement charging docks?
